They ran it through a sewing machine for a few seconds, sewed part of the pocket shut, and charged me $15 for the privilege of ruining it. When I raised this with the owner, she claimed they would need to disassemble the entire pocket just to repair a small hole. I asked if anyone there knew how to use a needle and thread. She shrugged and said, "It's $15." No apology, no offer to correct the mistake. Now I have to take the jersey somewhere else to have the job done properly. Whether this was incompetence or simply a lack of care, the result is the same -- I won't be returning.

I came in with a large bridesmaid dress and they were truthful about telling me to get a new one as even with alterations, it wouldn't look as good. I just needed my wedding dress hemmed and taken in a little on the bust. My first fitting was easy and she promised I could have a second fitting in a few weeks if I called a few days ahead to remind her. I did and she assured me it would be ready to try again in a few days, but when I came in for the appointment it wasn't ready and she couldn't even find it at first (cue internal freaking out that she lost it!). The next week it was ready to try again though, and after that it went smoothly. It was around $180 which included steaming so I think it was still a good value for wedding dress alterations despite the setbacks. 5 stars for quality of alterations and 3 stars for communication and organization = 4 stars.

I think they getnyou to commit by doing all the measuring and pinning before they tell you the price. Reminder: this was a gifted dress but we were hoping to keep costs low. Ive told my daughter that she has to use this for at least 5 more occassions! Dont't be afraid to walk out after they do all the measuring, pinning and chalking for lengrh. Dispute the price if you can. But I recommend going somewhere else or finding a friend to help.

Hotels have some services, but they always want to return it to you after 6pm the next day, which never works because you typically need laundry the second to last or last day, long before 6pm. That's on top of being way more expensive and a bigger hassle than you ever get with Foam! The owner reached out to me and ensured that I had a spectacular experience. On a random weeknight, someone came and picked up my bags of laundry at 8pm, and I had it back and was wearing it 4 hours later. I'm a Foam-er for life now!

When you factor in cost of detergent, energy usage, water usage, and opportunity cost, the price point is very reasonable, especially with a busy schedule. I am completely amazed! Anastasia and her team at Classy Tailoring Studio provided me an incredible service when I asked for a simple custom blue dress for my upcoming wedding. Together we chose the fabrics so it would be the perfect sapphire blue I love, as well as comfortable and accommodating. I had a vision for this dress, although my wedding was only a few months away. After contacting 30+ other tailors and dressmakers who said they needed at least 6 months notice (not to mention really high prices with that) I came across Classy Tailoring Studio. Not only was the price reasonable, but Anastasia was able to perfectly execute my vision and cut no corners to make sure it was perfect! As much as I'd say always plan well in advance when making a custom garment, I am so grateful they were able to make the time for me to make my ideas come to life. It was especially difficult timing since they were moving studio when I arrived with my request, so there were a couple reschedules, but I still had everything done by the deadline and I couldn't be more happy with the results! I took my wedding dress to Classy Tailoring Studio for alterations and to have sleeves added, and they did an absolutely amazing job! They were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and made the entire process feel so comfortable and stress free. Anastasia is truly a master seamstress. I had a dress that was just a little too big and I wanted it to look custom, and thanks to her, it is nothing but custom. The dress was completely taken apart and reconstructed, including the lining, the shell of the dress, as well as the delicate mesh outer layer. She also took some of the embroidered flowers from the extra fabric and added them to some blank spots. The dress fits me perfectly and the sewing work is absolutely impeccable. I am also a manager for a major retailer, and we use Anastasia for our customers alterations. She always does a beautiful job. I can't not recommend her enough. read more

I have taken many suits, sport coats and slacks to Anastasia the last two years for alterations. I have purchased some of these items at thrift stores and ebay. By taking them to her it has allowed me to obtain quality clothing that she has tailored so that it is economical for me. She has sensory issues and hates certain closures so he's also taken extra care to add a heavy duty metal clasp on the side which has been much easier for her to get in and out of. I recently had my stepfather go get a suit tailored and Saeid completely transformed his this for him. He's in his 80s and he's never had a suit tailored like that in his lifetime. I highly recommend him for his suit tailoring skills. Any comments about his store hours - I've never had an issue with this. However, he is the only one working at the shop. There's no way for someone running a shop solo to never be able to leave. Not realistic. Just call ahead to make sure he's in or make an appointment.

When I told her I wanted a slit, she pinned it conservatively so she wouldn't make it too high, then had me come back to try it out and we decided to make the slit go higher. She also educated me on the different bustle types and gave me great recommendations for everything. It was all done by the 3rd visit and the turn-around times were only days apart! The pricing was totally reasonable too. I was really nervous about finding someone I could trust with a very special task and I highly recommend. She's knowledgeable, talented, and sweet! After I checked the dress off my list, it stayed in the garment bag and I didn't look at it for a while until 2 weeks before the wedding and noticed it looked super dirty, so I was calling dry cleaners to see how fast they could clean a wedding dress and stressing out, but then I finally just used a lint roller...the dress had picked up a lot of fuzzies and some dog hair from being dragged on the floor, but it all came off!
