I came here, looking for a veil only. Originally, they were not even going to let me try on my dress with the veil because I did not purchase my dress there. We tried to be understanding, but there was literally nobody else in the store that could've possibly seen my dress. We even asked if we could just try it on in the fitting room so that no other customers would be able to see it if they came in. The girl working went and asked the owner and she made an exception, Which we were very grateful for. But then my veil was ordered wrong:( I was very in love with one veil, but the length of another. They told me since it was the same designer they could basically combine the two. We double triple quadruple checked and they reassured us. It was possible. I even checked over text message, They reassured me again. It would be correct. My veil showed up indeed, NOT correct. They didn't really take responsibility. They blamed the website for the error. I kind of expected since it was a designer for them to call or message the designer directly, to be entirely positive since I was told it had never been done before. The only options to fix it that were given to me, were basically to receive a refund, take the incorrect veil home or purchase a new one. No discount was offered. No compensation. Mind you, I waited 4 weeks for my veil which I know is awesome turn around time. BUT I did let them know that my wedding was very soon, and they assured me the correct veil would arrive in time. Now I am practically out of time, with no veil. Again, the store is very pretty from what I saw, they have beautiful dress dresses. But I am a little annoyed at their lack of accountability and problem-solving.

We got to the appointment early and asked to look at the selection - there wasn't a good selection for me. Everything was 5x sizes too big & not a lot of dresses to pick from. We told her after seeing the selection - we weren't interested in trying anything on and we wanted to cancel our appointment. She asked to see my dress inspo, so when I showed her the dress I wanted, she laughed and told me that the store had "invented" that dress, but had to make changes to it. In my mind, you don't have to make changes to a dress you invented - you have to make changes to a dress that you copycat so you don't get in trouble from the original designer. After all of this, she told us we would still have to pay a $50 fee even though we showed up an hour early, and weren't interested in anything. Mind you, there was no one in the store other than us. I have never written a yelp review before, but this interaction put a bad taste in my mouth & tainted what was supposed to be a good experience. I would recommend going somewhere else if you are wanting a better selection and service.

First of all, I called at maybe 3:30 on a Saturday to see if I could just come in and look around. They told me they had availability at 4pm. They closed at 5pm, but I had no idea until it was well past 5 and I asked them what time they closed. They did not rush me at all! I was a little back and forth on my top dress. Plus my mom wasn't there, and she wouldn't let me commit to it without her there. They were totally understanding and let me schedule another tentative appointment that next Monday. (They even let me FaceTime my mom and take pics of the dresses I had on). When Monday morning hit, my mom wanted me to try on some other options, so we hit another shop before going back to The Bride's Shop. I found a dress I absolutely fell in love with, but wanted to try on that first dress again just to be sure I could commit. Before we could even head back to the Bride's Shop, they called me and asked if I wanted to come back in, and had the dress ready to go when I got there! My mom, however, spotted the same dress I fell in love with at the first store, and they let me hop from one dress to the other as many times as I wanted in order to decide. Kennan was so patient and helpful! She put multiple different accessories on me so I could get the full effect. I would highly recommend going to the Bride's Shop!

I don't quickly told her that price range can change especially if there is nothing she even kind of likes. I didn't know you weren't suppose to look at dresses on racks because some aren't even available until fall . I tried to explain that we needed to get into at least the style she liked. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and my church is Catholic ---more traditional Catholic, so many of us…read morewomen wear dresses and veils to Mass. I am 36 years old and knew I wanted a modest dress. When I met with the planners at the church, they shared with me the Wedding Policy which included some tips for brides on modesty. In it, there were three websites for examples of modest wedding gowns, which I found very helpful. One of the websites was for Moments Made. I was surprised to see how many of the dresses I loved on their website! However, I was bummed to see they were not local to Arizona. But fortunately for me, I travel to Salt Lake City often for work and already had a trip planned there. I was SO excited to book an evening appointment at Moments Made while I was there for work. I went in on a Tuesday evening and pretty much had the entire place to myself. My consultant, Amber, was SO helpful. She made me feel like a princess, ensured she had a grasp of what I was looking for. And luckily, I had already obsessed over the website enough where I had about 8 dresses picked out. We tried on many of them and (as I'm sure happens with most brides), the one I thought would be the top contender wasn't really jiving with me. Towards the end of my appt, I was torn between two dresses. Amber was patient with me and allowed me to try both on again and spend quite a bit of time in each. She even dressed me up with a veil, had me hold flowers, put on jewelry, etc. It really helped to be able to see the whole look come together. What I appreciate most is how thoughtful she was in helping me narrow it down. She could tell I was very torn and I didn't have any family or friends present with me to help make the decision. She asked me "What do you NOT like about each dress?" I told her for Dress #1, I didn't like that it was sparkly and it was a bit too heavy. For Dress #2, I told her that I didn't like that it was V-Neck (I wanted sweetheart) and I wanted it to have a tad fuller of a skirt for an A-line dress. Very quickly, she was able to show me that Dress #2 could be altered to make it sweetheart and also add layers underneath to make it a fuller skirt. On the contrary, it would be pretty impossible to remove the sparkles off of Dress #1. And just like that, I had my answer and was able to to say "yes" to the dress! Amber also helped me to try to find a local seamstress in Arizona (I ended up going with someone else, but still appreciated her going out of her way). She also picked out a veil and earrings for me that looked really nice. I figured "Oh well I'll buy them and probably end up getting something else later on." But sure enough, those were the earrings I ended up wearing on my wedding day! I also got a store credit for buying the dress and was able to buy some nice sweaters while I was in store as well. Surprisingly, as someone who is very fickle (especially with fashion), I am shocked to say that I purchased my dress in October, got married in June and NEVER once did I waver on purchasing this dress. It was so perfect for me and I got so many compliments on it. I look back at the pictures now and feel like it is a timeless, classic dress. I felt so beautiful in it and am very grateful to Amber for helping me narrow down the perfect dress for my big day!

Their website says, "We're happy to accommodate other hours by appointment." -- but they were not. When I reached out for an appointment and explained that I was flying my mom in to go dress shopping with me and we had a restricted time schedule to work with, they just said "sorry we are not open then." (Which is totally fine! Just don't put that on your hours page then.) They have a small collection, but the dresses were unique. The shop is great in that it's calm, quiet, and private. I think they only have two brides at a time, each gets their own room. The bridal consultant I worked with didn't say anything. She was respectful when I said my preferences or that I didn't like a dress, but didn't offer any information about the gowns or say much at all. You do undress to your comfort level in a dressing room with the bridal consultant there to help you in and out of dresses, so wear undergarments that are comfortable for you in that situation. This situation has been eating me alive since I left the shop with my dress! I spent around $5,000 on the dress (not including additional fees for expedited shipping), and unfortunately, the final product looked NOTHING like what I originally ordered. Didn't fit me at all. I had been under the impression the entire first appointment that this dress would fit perfectly and was being made to my size, and would need very minimal adjustments. Then I was informed later by Tatum herself that they ordered dresses in "a standard size". We requested a very small neckline adjustment (about 0.5-1 inch higher), but when the dress arrived, the entire top portion had not been extended up it had been moved up. This has left the cups 1 inch above where my boobs actually go. I'm having to wear silicone boobs to fill in that area because of how much baggy it looks on the breasts. The whole dress was a complete disaster. There was a part of the dress that was sewn in incorrectly, and my seamstress had to take apart the whole skirt and re-sew it on in order for it to look normal. I had to spend an additional $600 with a seamstress just to make the dress wearable, and even after those alterations, I'm still not fully satisfied with how it turned out. Which is really disappointing because this dress should be everything and more, especially for the price. I reached out to Tatum respectfully explaining my concerns, but the response I received felt very impersonal and dismissive. It seemed more focused on closing the issue than actually addressing what went wrong or acknowledging the situation. It felt like she was taking all of the things I had said very personally, which is not a good look on a company if you get emotional about someone emailing you about some concerns. Not to mention that when she responds to emails and bad reviews, she uses ChatGPT. For such an important purchase, I expected significantly better quality, communication, and accountability. If I could go back in time, I would NOT come here! Yes, it seems like a very nice dress place but behind the scenes it's not.
