I told them that I did not have childcare and they made affections to accommodate my son. They have a VERY wide selection budget wise. After I bought my dress, they continued letting me come in to try the sample gown multiple times, to help me make decisions, before my dress arrived. Shout out to the Bridal Closet (BC) Marketing team for posting ads on Instagram. I was looking for cost efficient wedding dresses for the big day but was getting discouraged with the high prices until I saw that BC was having a floor sample sale. All dresses were $700! Such a great deal for the brides on a budget. From my understanding, the sale features unsold high-quality dresses that have been gently used for display or modeling. Store: the store was organized and clean but surprising a little small. All the dresses for the sale were tucked in a corner and grouped by level of modesty and style. Overall, I think the experience turned out great for my first wedding dress fitting. My feedback for the team is that I felt overwhelmed at the beginng of the selection process. As a first time wedding dress shopper, a couple of staff members kept asking me what kind of dress I was looking for and seeing if I needed any help with picking out 5 dresses to try on for the first round of fitting. It could have been just their standard protocol to rush or move along the selection process as quickly as possible so they could take their time with the actual dress fitting step. My recommendation is to let one associate lead the intro process and set up a comfortable length of time (about 5-8mins) to let them browse first. This will help make it less overwhelming. Then after the 5 dresses are selected, other staff can come in to help. During the fitting, I had a great time being asked about my vision and plans for the wedding to help keep the whole fitting process light hearted and fun. Abby and company were so helpful and welcoming. I told them what I was looking for, and they pulled several fantastic options. They were willing to pull additional gowns, and were very patient and supportive. When I found the gown I loved, I came in for sizing on a different occasion, to which my tire had gone flat a few hours away. Upon calling, they were super understanding and accommodating. I would highly reccomend this store to all brides if you are looking for hospitality and comfort. After visiting several other stores, I wish I would of came here first. My mom ordered a veil from this company, and the material and quality of the cut were not worth the money spent. I'm bummed she ordered something had a zero return policy because the money is blown on a product that won't be used. The tulle is thick and sticky, the clip was very large, too large for me anyways, and the edging was sloppy the way it was cut. It's brand new and returned to the packaging unworn and the company won't make any exceptions regardless of an unhappy customer, so a review is all I can do to not recommend ordering from them without seeing and feeling the product in person at least. read more

*this is a review of the boutique AND the seamstress THEY recommended to me. WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Being a bride is stressful enough- do NOT add to it by shopping here. I went to this boutique in the first place because they had a specific dress that I wanted to try on. I made an appointment and went around picking out dresses I wanted to try on. I was very surprised my consultant didn't go in the dressing room with me to help me try on the gowns. I had to get them on my self without tripping and then she zipped them up. I ended up picking the dress I originally wanted but of course the color I wanted wasn't available so we had to jump through a bunch more hoops to get an ivory dress that was in 2 sizes too big. ***do not go here if you want an ivory or white dress. They might be able to order it but they definitely don't have any white or ivory in the store to try on*** This boutique also doesn't have an in-house seamstress. They simply have a list of seamstresses that come *highly* recommended. The manager suggested I choose their top recommend seamstress (Paulene). What a FIASCO that turned out to be. I showed this women tons of pictures of the model wearing the dress, and even pictures of me when I first tried it on. I wanted the dress to look and feel like when I first tried it on. (I am attaching pictures of the model which is what I wanted it to look like, and pictures that were taken at my last fitting when it was supposed to be "done".) It most definitely does not. The hem is way too short and doesn't have that regal wedding feel. The dress was supposed to be in a trumpet/bell style at the bottom and it took 4-5 dress fittings for my gown to look even CLOSE to what I wanted. (The dress was going to need a lot of work bc it was so big for me but I was assured this was the woman for the job) Towards the last few fittings she was very short and rude with me, and I honestly didn't even want her to leave with my dress. I even had to have my friends come in with me to explain what I wanted. After explaining my concerns about the dress coming in unevenly on the sides (see pictures) the seamstress says "well, I don't know what you want me to do." In the most irritated tone. I was shocked. Furthermore, The manager/other employees seemed very uninterested in helping me. Again, no one ever helped me into my dress during any fittings. I had to ask every time to even be zipped up. ZERO customer service. They already made the sale- why not help me out? The icing on the cake is that the boutique quoted me no more than $250 in alterations, the actual seamstress quoted me $270, and what we ended up paying was $320. AND MY DRESS STILL ISN'T RIGHT. SUCH an enormous waste of money. On both the dress AND the alterations. The dress I have now is absolutely nothing like the dress I tired on 3 months ago. What a complete disappointment. read more

I can't say enough amazing things about Bridal Closet! This was the first and last place I went when looking for my dream dress. I'm a very detail oriented person and was looking for a shop that would give me a very one on one amazing experience while also meeting my shorter timeline (3 months!) and the modesty required for the temple. That's exactly what I got at Bridal Closet! They had an awesome selection of dresses that were modest as well! I walked in, after being tired and frustrated from trying on dresses from bridal center, and walked out with the perfect dress. I believe Alicia helped me (it says her name on the receipt) and she was really helpful. I told her what I was looking for and she brought them to my closet as I was trying on other dresses. She made my experience so easy. The dress is so comfy and simply beautiful. This really is as good as it gets. My daughter got married this past August and we began dress shopping in March. After going to a few shops where we felt ignored, pushed through or like cattle we ended up at Bridal Closet on a recommendation from a friend. What a difference! Beautiful, designer gowns, attentive service and very reasonable pricing. She found the perfect dress and - later - when the dress arrived and and we were unsure how to get it to fit properly, we called the shop and Franklin said "Come right in". I came here last week to make an appointment because their phones were not working. I live just up the hill so it was no biggie to me, but she insisted that she had time for an appointment right then. She wasn't very helpful or involved in an appointment like most bridal shops. No one helped me in and out of the gowns, and I was carrying around my own heavy dresses. I didn't feel very comfortable or important and that didn't really meet my wedding dress shopping experience. I found Bridal Closet by way of a google search. I had a HORRIBLE experience shopping at a chain bridal store ... the one that advertises $99 dollar dresses as if they're selling a too good to be true, once in a life time deal except they have this sale every week ... Yea. Them. And the thing about those type of stores is you're getting what you pay for and in some cases you're getting a lot less than what you paid for. In my case I purchased an expensive gown and endured crappy customer service only to receive said gown 3 months before my wedding DAMAGED. BEYOND REPAIR. I nearly had a nervous break down. Seriously?! In a panic I hit the net and began searching. I then found a Maggie Sottero gown that I fell in love with and called every local bridal store only to be told it was IMPOSSIBLE (with as much snarky, incredulousness as they could muster) to get a Maggie 3 months out. Nearly in tears... I found Bridal Closet and Ashley Forakis (que the angelic choral music). I crossed my fingers and sent an email inquiring about the Maggie gown I had fallen in love with but began realizing I had little chance of getting. And not only did Ashley respond within 30 minutes of my email request, but she told me she would call the company to inquire if they had one in stock... and true to her word - she did, and THEY DID! This was so major for me I cried when I read her response. She seriously lifted a huge burden from me. When you're planning a wedding you're a bundle of nervous, and there is just so much going on that when one of the most essential pieces of the wedding (the wedding dress) disintegrates that's enough to send a bride into a state of panic. Like seriously, I kept imaging having this killer wedding - having spent so much money on décor & design and then walking down the aisle in a potato sack. Soooo not sexy. So needless to say I was immediately like here's my credit card - let's secure that gown! Unless you're Kim Kardashian - you don't have tons of disposable money, or big companies paying for your wedding - and money gets tied up - so the fact that Ashley allowed me to put a deposit on my gown until I was able to fight the previously mentioned big chain dress shack to get my money back for my damaged gown they sent me was also another huge bonus. So this, coupled with the amazing customer service, responsiveness and thoughtfulness has earned Bridal Closet a place in my heart. I purchased my gown from a shop in Utah and I am a Saint Louis, MO resident and I did not have ONE single problem. My dress was delivered BEFORE the promised date and Ashley was also generous enough to include free shipping and a free dress garment bag. I cannot say enough about her customer service, and friendliness. Whether you're a Utah native or anywhere in the US you can feel confident, and secure in doing business with Bridal Closet. I mean I was emailing this woman after business hours and she responded within the hour!! Take that big dress factory shack! You won't find service like this anywhere else. I only plan to get married once... BUT if I do end up doing it again... I know that I can call Ashley and she can make anything happen for me. Totally kidding .. that was a bad joke, but seriously... I had such an amazing experience with Ashley & Bridal Closet I feel compelled to YELP it from the mountains... or the comfort of my couch while on my laptop. So... long story short - you can trust Bridal Closet whether you're near or far. PS .. Oh and I forgot to mention my Maggie was like $150 less than what a local boutique was charging... so WIN! Loved working with Bridal Closet to get my dress; it was the sixth place I went to before I found the dress I loved. I went during their sample sale and got a steal on my dress. The staff members were all so friendly and patient each time I visited the store (I went a total of 3 times!). They were knowledgeable about materials, brands, the sales, alterations, etc. I was very impressed. Bridal Closet accepts walk ins, but I would recommend setting an appointment to go in! While I did receive help when I was in there, I believe they are more attentive when you have an appointment, especially if it's busy, like on Fridays and Saturdays. (They were not accepting appointments during their sample sale, so wait times were super normal!). Beautiful store, beautiful dresses. Got my dress here a couple of months ago. I scheduled an appointment that day and even though they had some one else there I was still able to come in. The gowns at the store are beautiful and something about the lighting makes everything sparkle. I found my dress in about 20 minutes and the person there helped me find a veil. Ashley was nice, efficient, calm, and right on the money with her measurements of how my keyhole-backed, mermaid-style dress would ultimately fit. My dress had lace all over and she handled its delicate nature with finesse. For the preference-based alterations, she explained the options available and left the choice up to me, offering her input only when I had no idea. Her alteration rates were very fair. The lady just sent me to the dressing room didn't help me put the dresses on and just helped me zip them up. She wasn't helpful and my parents were sitting right there and she was playing around on the computer. She acted like we were causing more work for her and that we were a burden for her. This was my first stop on my wedding dress hunt adventures, and it turns out I didn't need to go anywhere else. I came in with some idea of what I wanted, and found many dresses fitting my idea. In the end, it was another wonderful dress that caught my eye and came home with me the very next day. Franklynn was such an important part of this process. He helped guide my mom and me as we tried on dresses, but he gave us the freedom to peruse the store and choose options. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and a clearly skilled designer. The ambiance of the store was the perfect blend of elegant, but not pretentious. I never once felt the extreme pressure to buy that you see on TV shows. There was a wide selection of gowns, especially Maggie Sottero (which I adore, and ended up purchasing). Franklynn worked around my situation of living in NYC and we were able to order and fit the dress in just a few visits when I came to town. On the final fitting, there was a quick touch up that I thought could be made on the hem and the seamstress whisked it away and fixed it overnight, on her own time, because she knew I was leaving town soon. I thought the prices were super reasonable, and they even included the veil with the dress if we paid in full that day.
