Beautiful selection of dresses and very friendly service! Found my wedding dress here and thrilled!

June 11, 2025 Since FEBRUARY [it's June now] I've been dealing with JessaKae. Thus far, i have purchased 5 dresses from them and have kept 3. I'm 63 and plus size. Each dress style I've tried fits differently so, that's the chance you take when ordering online, right? Well, here's the fine print... NO REFUNDS! And, every dress is minimum $100. I started with a 1X and it was too big. Went down to XXL; that one fit and was kept. $183 (see photo) I still have several hundred dollars of credit and will have to keep ordering until the next one is cute on my body. Oh! And thirdly, you have to PAY $12 each time you ship a return. I'm about to order my 6th replacement... wish me luck. Hopefully it will be the last sale because I'm MAD at myself for thinking i would originally get a refund but... Oh, and the ONLY way to communicate with this company is email. They don't have a business telephone number. Do NOT recommend this dress company if your over 50 and plus size ------------ June 23 2025 Just received my 6th dress, the Solana... love it My credit is now down to $30 Do I let them have it... or spend more money?!! I have a beautiful dress from here that I got online and I had to see this place in person because I love how size inclusive they are and I live here in Utah. I was greeted today by a beautiful woman working the front desk today and she was such a vibe to talk to. You could see her just glowing because she loves working here and I am ALL FOR IT! She showed me where the dresses were and I was in heaven trying them on because the dressing room had great lighting and a big wonderful mirror. The prices can be a little high but they always have great sales which you really get your money's worth. Each dress will not fit the same tho, I'm a size 16 so 1xl is my size and not all will fit when zipping up the back you may need to take it to a seamstress just a heads up... read more

Do not buy anything from this company. I bought a $250 dress. The zipper was broken and they refused to give me a refund because it was past the 20 day return window. Their reasoning was that zippers lose their grip. I purchased the dress 2 months ago and never wore the dress. Spend your money with another company that makes quality dresses. read more

It the quality for me I have to say that when I first saw the Instagram ad I was not a fan. I pretty much waited an entire year before I ordered my first dress. However I had some summer events coming up that I really wanted something beautiful for and so I took the plunge and I have to warn you it's addictive. The quality of these dresses is so phenomenal that it is so worth the price. Now these are not your average every day dresses, I would say that these are more event-based. However I do find myself on a random Thursday putting on an amazing dress to go get coffee because I work from home. I also love that you can track everything through the Shopify app because it does make it so easy to see all of your purchases and when they're going to come because again they are an expensive item so to be able to track them in real time is so useful for me and I'm so happy that they use this app! The dresses are on the heavier side so something like a super hot summer day may not be the best for a lot of these dresses. But that's because I actually have lining and are actually made with quality fabric! What I can say is I love all of the launches that they do because it makes it so fun to see what's coming out and what styles are changing because they really do try to stay with trends in terms of neckline and fabrics and styles but they also somethings so unique that you're not gonna find them anywhere else. That being said, I would steer you away from the mystery bundle for two reasons. The first reason is you're not gonna get the newest dresses. These are going to be dresses that are either full price now and will go on sale if they don't fulfill the mystery bundle order or they already are on sale. Now all the dress below retailed for $150 that is the same amount as the mystery bundle so to me it was worth it. However I will not be doing this again because the other two dresses I got were not my style and the one was actually damaged. However, they did make it right and took back that dress and to give me store credit for the damage dress. I've also had to make two returns because the dresses just weren't what I was hoping them to be. The return process is super easy though they give you a return label and you just drop it off. You get a nice gift card, for store credit and you're going to find something else you may just have to wait for the next lunch. With my credit I was able to get three other beautiful dresses and I'm absolutely obsessed with these ones! They are more my style and I'm happy I took a chance on something that might not have been my style because I was still able to exchange it for something that was! So while the price point is high and you're thinking that I'm crazy; I do have 9 dresses! I also got a dress for this mama to be and three adorable baby girl items! Plus a matching dress to moms once she is 1 year old to do a photoshoot together! It's really honestly because of the quality!!!! The only reason I haven't ordered from the new launch is because I told myself for the month of June I wouldn't buy a single dress, hahaha! It's torture!!! read more

Their sizing is waaayy off. I ordered a size up from my measurements, to leave some room. It fits on the bust, the waist, the arms, but not across the back? WTF? And I can't even return it. Out $200 read more

The return policy is the worst I think I've ever seen - it's a very, very expensive product so you would assume a high quality return policy, but they're sneaky. The return has to be processed within 20 days of the order being PLACED, so if shipping is slow you have almost no turn around time, and you'd better try it on the day it arrives - even then, if it doesn't work for you, you're probably out of luck. They refuse to allow refunds, only store credits, and not for the full amount. We can't replace the product in time and the fix wasn't just an issue of size, the dress just fit oddly and given the timing of the event we were shopping for and how long it took for the first one to arrive, replacing wasn't an option. My daughter bought something last year that worked great, same size this time (we followed the size chart) but the fit was totally different and didn't work at all. Effectively we're out $450 given our exchange rate. They are not open shop hours to process returns, only 9-5 business days (no weekends or stats) so not easy to get a hold of someone if you also work business hours. They don't offer the option to do a google review so no way to alert other shoppers other than here. Wish we had read the reviews here before ordering for the 2nd time as it sounds like several others have had this problem too. Very disappointing - not worth it to shop here, despite how cute things look the return policy makes it scammy. read more

As I am sitting here deciding on if I am going to get 1 or 4 dresses (spoiler alert I bought 3) I am very surprised at the reviews! The place is AMAZING and size inclusive. I felt like I was getting married all over again because the way the dresses highlight my best assets - everyone's assets! I recommend if you are local to go in and try on the selections. The sales staff Chelsea & Alt were so helpful and sweet. If you order online, you can return but just follow the return policy and try another beautiful dress it's so worth it! Cutest dresses I've ever seen! If you love a cottage core/whimsical/girly/dreamy dress, this is the place for you. Dresses are pricey but absolutely worth it. They're great quality. Phenomenal dresses for an incredible price! And a beautiful space to shop! Excited for my daughter to wear her dress for her pictures!

Tried to resolve this issue with them before leaving reviews. I added a picture of their reply to me. My $150 dress shrunk after one time of washing it. I followed their washing instructions, I washed it on delicate in cold water and hung it to dry and it still shrunk. The top layer shrunk a solid 2 to 3 inches, now exposing the slip underneath by at least an inch. I left a review on the dress itself so that others wouldn't get sucked into the same mistake that I made by purchasing this dress, but they deleted my review. Wasted $300 on a clearance "mystery bag." Each dress was the same basic style- ballgown with fitted, zippered bodice (two long, one knee length). How many formal events do they think people go to that they need 3 ballgowns, instead of maybe one ballgown and two less formal dress styles? I ordered my size, but they are too small. The zipper is way too thin for the heavy fabric, and I can only zip it up with heavy tugging, which I worry will damage the zipper. The material on one is extremely itchy, and moderately so on the other two. I fell hard for their upbeat marketing and size-inclusiveness message. I trusted them because they have a brick-and-mortar store, but apparently that is no guarantee of quality. Very expensive lesson learned. read more

So I wanted to like the brand so bad! I was so excited when I found it.... However, their online ordering system is a NIGHTMARE. The quality of the dresses are nice, but honestly it's not worth the hassle. It's best to shop somewhere where they will get your orders out, and refund you. 1. If you order the wrong size, or you don't like your dress they will NOT REFUND, even if you send it back the same day. You only get store credit. So what happens is that it takes 10 days to receive the package, then to return it's another 10 days... then to receive the next order another 10 days. So in total that's 30 days of trying to get a dress. 2. Their sizing chart in my eyes runs big. The website suggested I buy a medium when I'm a 32 bust, and 26-27 waist. I should've known cause I always wear smalls, but I was like well I should do what they suggest. The dresses I received literally swallowed me whole. Like it would've need to be altered in order to have fit me correctly. 3. Because you don't get a refund, then it's like impossible to match the store credit. So sadly I actually ended up loosing money. They are very sneaky about this. read more

TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY Their clothes aren't flattering and some of the materials are very cheap and fits are cheesy and not sophisticated. What is even worse is their return policy which they recently changed without notice (I have been trying to use a credit from another return) and clothes are only returnable within 20 days of ORDERING, they ship USPS so in most cases you have less than a week from the item arriving to return it. They also only give store credit as a refund. Don't waste your money here unless you are sure items will fit and you can tell from the pictures they are made of quality materials. read more

Don't buy from this store. We ordered a dress for a reception. It was nothing like what was pictured, it was poorly cut, very unflattering and the material was cheap. It took a long time to receive it but luckily we did, a lot of other reviews are about never receiving the product. We sent it back and they issue only store credits as refunds. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! They're just money hungry. Their dresses are such cheap quality for it being overpriced. I paid almost $200 with shipping for a dress. The dress is such horrible quality and has loose threads everywhere. Their customer service is horrible and all they care about is making sure they make money. Even if you return, they only give you store credit MINUS the return shipping fee. I wonder why they only give store credit for returns... hmm maybe because they know that everyone would be returning their cheap quality dresses. The photos on the website also have a filter to make the dress look better, but I assure you, the dress looks horrible in person. Their return policy is horrible. You would expect an online company that sells clothing to offer a full refund especially when JessaKae knows that there's a huge chance of the dress not fitting. Also their customer service is rude and horrible. They're no help at all. I forgot to add shipping protection on my order, and I emailed them, and they sent me an invoice for $2 for shipping protection. This just shows how money hungry they are. They sent me an invoice for $2 instead of just assuring that my order would be protected. This brings me onto another rant, why are they charging for shipping protection?? Ok, after purchasing 2 darling dresses & 2 gorgeous skirts from JessaKae & then needing to return one of each because they didn't do what I was hoping, I SO didn't get the low reviews so I read them. It seems most people are upset by the return policy. I think this is because we've all grown used to fast fashion. These aren't that. First of all, the box they arrived in: I just wanted to sit & gaze at the lovely, semi-glossy powder blue of it, play with the hope-chest-like opening & admire the beautiful floral inside. Each garment is carefully folded in its own high quality plastic bag for protection, with tissue paper layered between each bagged dress. It all speaks of care & attention to detail. If you, like I, are one who's grown accustomed to an Amazon lifestyle, already this is a wholly novel experience. As for construction, the dresses I purchased are made of relatively high end textiles & beautifully lined. I have seen no loose threads. The stitching is admirable. I have sensory sensitivities & each textile felt like a poem against my skin--not something I write lightly. As for fit, my dresses hit at the natural waist with flare midi skirts & puffed sleeves. Both were smock-backed and pull overhead. The sleeves were not at all constrictive. Huge fan. The collar of one dress is too high on me, and I'm returning one skirt because it was too full at the bottom for my proportions, t-length always being a gamble with my figure. The candy pink layered fine net tulle skirt, though? Angels sang & wept for joy when I put it on. Not even kidding, it is that gorgeous. And that shade is not one I normally choose, but I am living for it. Returns: unfortunately, I had to return them in the darling box that I am far too preoccupied by. Le sigh. Easy peasy though. I knew the return policy before purchasing but had a question & emailed their support line. Michelle almost IMMEDIATELY got back to me! And was completely darling & wonderful & we emailed back & forth a bit & I've decided we're friends now. I already have picked out the two dresses I plan to purchase instead with the store credit. This is a small boutique house, not a conglomerate. They make small batch high-middle end goods & they appear to do it well. As a former bridal & formalwear designer myself I can tell you they probably are not operating at much of a profit margin on these dresses. Not if the textiles are responsibly sourced (read: not from overseas sweatshops--especially not ones reliant on child labor), which they appear to be, & not if any part of construction is in-country instead of overseas. They must pay employees minimum wage here. When we support companies like JessaKae, we are supporting our own economy & refuse to fund oppressive practices. No, I cannot afford to buy dresses like these every month. I'm a stay at home domestic goddess & am paid in sticky floors for my labor these days. But when I have something important coming up as I do? You best believe I look for quality. Dresses that will last. I can't even express how glorious it has been to find fashionable dresses that aren't too short or too shoulder-baring for my needs. To find this degree of size-inclusivity so I can see the gowns on the types of models I'm accustomed to, & also on ones built more like me? This aspect alone is worth the shopping experience. And it is an experience! Nevertheless, because I am now in love with these dresses & am on more of a budget than I would wish (le sigh), will I look for NWT items sisters are looking to rehome because they missed the return window? You best believe I will. Those poor orphan dresses need a loving home & I am uniquely qualified to provide one. These dresses are the real deal, y'all. Detailed, beautiful, well constructed, lovingly cared for & shipped. Do not expect an Amazon experience on ANY level here. There's no Bezos bankrolling this mom & pop fashion house. That man has more dollars than there are people in the world, he can carry losses, he can have extravagant return policies while he takes over the market share. But if you want something stunning? Something that provides a beautiful experience from the moment you clap eyes on that ridiculously darling box? This is the place. read more

JessaKae is awful! I purchased a dress and I am usually a medium, but after looking at sizing I purchased a large, and it did not zip. And come to find, my dress which I thought was simply on a regular sale was "final sale" in JessaKae's eyes, so I don't even qualify for store credit which is the only thing they offer for a "regular" purchase return. Be warned, anything that's marked as "sale" is final sale. So now I'm stuck with this crappy dress and can't even try to exchange it for another crappy thing from this store. It looks like I'm out $50 and will be very careful about buying next time. Don't fall for what looks like a cute store, this place is despicable. read more

Their customer service was very poor. Their return policy is not transparent, and easy to miss that they don't provide actual refunds to original payment (they highlight "free returns" clearly all over their site, but the fact they only give you gift cards? Hard to find unless you scroll through multiple bullets and pages). When I gave this feedback they said the onus is on the customer to hunt around for the policy. They didn't actually offer any kind of "support" or suggestions on how to make the return. More like customer blame. read more

It fits exactly as expected and let me tell you it is one of the most flattering dresses I have ever put on. Dresses are much more flattering on the models than in person. My sister and I both ordered dresses, one of us is a 3x and the other is a large. The return policy is strict and very limited. I returned one dress and had to pay $8 for a return label. And then next dress I'm stuck with because there is only a 20 day window to return and I was on my honeymoon and missed it by 3 days. I have ordered from this company multiple times. Their clothing is a bit overpriced for the quality of materials. However, some of their designs are unique and best purchased at the sale prices. Warning. If you use one of their promotional emails, make sure to save it until you are sure they honored it. On my most recent order I placed an order and soon after received an email for free shipping only for that day. I emailed requesting that the shipping be refunded as my order was placed on the calendar day for which the free shipping was applicable. First of all it took two emails before I received a response telling me the free shipping didn't apply because my order was plsced before the offer. Last I checked a calendar day is a calendar day for the full 24 hours. I sent a third email pointing this out and they never responded. Prior to this display of poor customer service I would have rated them 3 1/2 to 4. Businesses that don't value customers by not standing by their offers don't get my full approval and they likely will get no more of my business. read more

Once I try the dress on the size is pretty off, I wear a size L and the dress looks at if it a medium. The materials are cheaper fabric, and the prices are way over the price.
