I actually really like this uptown cheap skate because 1. There's plenty of parking! What ease! 2. It's organized and easy to find what you need 3. There's food places next door and a coffee shop across the way I really like it here when I stopped by and on top of it, they took the most items out of all the uptown cheapskates places I went to! Don't sleep on this one. The selection also has a lot of unique items especially sports wise. I felt like that they had a good selection. I will be coming back, but it is farther from the salt lake area. read more

ACTUALLY THE MOST SHIESTY WORKERS. SUPER DISAPPOINTING. 6/2/26 There was a coach purse my daughter saw the workers talking about it and trying on during their work shift and my daughter saw it and was interested in it but was nervous to ask about it so we (myself and my mother in law) asked about the coach purse and they let us look to see the condition and we said we will take it and asked them to hold for us until we were done shopping and they said they would. We continue to shop and then they tell my mother in law that it was actually on hold for someone else and that they were coming to pick it up later. I speak to an employee telling her we will stick around to see if anyone picks it up and if not we will buy it and she was very insistent that this customer was "coming." My daughter waited near the front check-out desk to see if anyone came to pick up the bag the entire time and no one had come and then all of a sudden they said the customer had come, but my daughter never saw them take the bag out or sell it. It was apparent that the entire staff including assistant manager? knew about the situation and were all in on it. I'd really rather go to uptown murray or any other location now. I can't believe they would be this shiesty of human beings. I've recommended this location to my co-workers and friends which have shopped and sold their clothing items here, but I will definitely be notifying them of this situation and recommending they go elsewhere. Shiesty people aren't trustworthy. I'll take my recommendations, money and clothing elsewhere. read more

Came back after a few months and was pleased to find that there did seem to be a better selection of men's clothes, however things were still highly unorganized. The racks were so packed full you couldn't even get a look at what clothes were hanging and the sizes were all over the place. My wife and I did each find a handful of cool items; but man does some better organizing need to take place here read more

I had a bad shopping experience today at the South Jordan location. The girl with the long red hair was so rude and was bothered when I asked any questions. The fitting rooms were filthy! Giving two stars instead of one because the girl at the register was nice. read more

Worth checking out! Bring that clothes you don't want and shop around! Obviously I will be back again!

I'm not a thifter. But my family wanted to come and check this place out. I just don't like the smell of these places but other then that. It's a nice little shop. Well organized I was able to find a nice sweater for 15 dollars it was a Vince Comuto. Not bad but also was expecting a little cheaper. The employee all were nice . I would come back again to look. read more

This location is smaller than the others and doesn't have as much inventory for that reason. The employees were rude to customers and had very poor customer service. Won't be back. read more

THEY ARE CALLED CHEAPSKATES FOR A REASON!! TAKE YOUR CLOTHES TO A WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S SHELTER INSTEAD! Cheapskates will just take your clothes for petty change anyways. Instead, give to those who need it and aren't just going to resell it for more than what they got it for!! read more

My husband introduced me to this store and I love their brand collection. This is my new favorite thrift store and will be visiting it soon. read more

Uptown Cheapskate - Loved these bags. - Men's Clothing Near Me - South Jordan, Utah

I was shocked at the amount of actually stylish clothes & shoes there were. The workers were SO dope, so helpful, and they made me & my friends laugh. We've been to other shops around & savers has been our go to but this place is so close to where we live and it's such a chill vibe. We collectively decided we're going here from now on haha. It really was a 10/10 experience and we're DEFINITELY going back tomorrow. And the next day. And every day...... can't miss the deals ;) read more

They are always up on the current fashion trends, have a huge selection in all sizes, in all categories no matter what you are looking for and more! They have new stuff every single time I go in, which is a lot! I also sale my clothes to them and that has always been fair and great! Big store with so many options! I would of loved to stay longer but it was so muggy and hot inside I'm surprised no one has had a heatstroke in there! Perfect big selection sadly couldn't stay longer cause it felt like a big hot warehouse:'/ I'll come back when it's not hot read more

I've sold to this location a million times. Each time has been great and I get decent prices. There is one particular employee with ginger hair who is not very friendly, and who Ive watched take a few things of the top of my bin, then call it good. And this has happened more than once. She doesn't even take the time to look through the whole thing. Besides my experiences with this employee, every time i've come has been worth 5 stars. read more

Great place for selling your clothes and buying new to you ones! The employees are always super kind too!

ALLWAYS have the best quality and experience Today I left with 2 pair of shoes, a real leather cross body and tons of accessories for $100 Can't BEAT that! read more

Came to drop off some clothes and was never greeted or helped by any employees. I was told they don't accept any clothes in trash bags and they had to be in bins, but wasn't offered one of the many bins they had sitting behind the desk. When I asked for one I was told I had to wait in-store if I used one of their bins. Had to leave because I didn't have an extra hour to waste while waiting for them. Just some information that I wish had been more readily available before I came in. read more

I have had issues with this location before. I have heard many issues of peoples things being donated due to not being contacted that their buy was done. Luckily I called. Didn't get the email till 9:10pm which at that point the only options are store credit and donation. Ethical or sketchy? Anyone who hasn't been notified in time should immediately be given a refund. I took a pic of the email cause I truly was shocked a company that "depends" on this can't even do it correctly. Either fix this issue and I can reach out for further assistance with the consistent issue read more

Uptown Cheapskate - 9:10pm -your buy is fine. Bffr - Men's Clothing Near Me - South Jordan, Utah

If I could rate it a zero I would... they are a scam here don't go here!!! They tried to play me and keep my shoes. And offer me a little bit of money. read more

My favorite place to shop. It's always tidy and the workers are always kind and helpful. And the selection is fantastic!

I tried so hard to like this location but every time has been a let down. Most recently being accused of stealing bc I didn't have a bag and carried my clothes I bought out of the store (they literally do not give you one unless you specify) and an employee followed me to my car to knock on my window and asked if I paid for them. Just felt gross especially being a person of color. Felt like they definitely could've handled it better but whatever. The store is great but the employees could be a bit nicer read more

Great price. Great styles and brands in good condition! What more can I ask for? Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will return for another shopping trip! read more

Uptown Cheapskate - OMG got this Marc Jacobs little wallet for only $19.99 - Men's Clothing Near Me - South Jordan, Utah

i came in to sell some clothes to them, and the lady at the counter was so sassy and rude! as soon as i walked in, she said "oop, so we actually can't take your donations in a trash bag." i told her that i've never had an issue with bringing in a trash bag because i just put the clothes in a bin. "well we've had this policy for the last three years, so i don't know what to tell you." i told her that i wasn't giving her the bag itself, but i would be putting them in the provided bins. AND SHE WALKED AWAY. so her coworker asked if i had gotten a bin, and i told her no. so she handed me a bin, and i laid my clothes nicely in it. they told me it would be about thirty minutes until they were finished. so my friend and i walked around the store, and they were done five minutes later. they had barely touched my clothes, i brought in maybe $200 worth of stuff (good condition and name brand). she told me she would take four of the items for $12 cash (or $15 store credit), which means you know they didn't care to look. coming to this location was a waste of my time, i will be going to another location in the future. read more

Kenna and Juniper we're amazing! I watched a guy yell at them because he didn't listen to the instructions and was so rude but they handled it with such grace and were so professional! Every time I have come in here the staff has always been so friendly but these 2 were awesome! Whoever their manager is, they deserve a raise. Keep up the good work ladies! read more

Absolutely love this location! Always such awesome employees. The store is so organized and clean so it makes thrifting easy!!

They would not help me because I brought my clothes in garbage bags! My clothes were clean and straight from my closet. They were rude about it too. read more

Very clean nice store with lots of clothes! But def feel like they are expensive for what it is. Like a tank top for $15 or a bohm silk top for $25. They had lots of lululemon leggings for like $35-45. I got 2 tshirts a pair of joggers a dress and shorts for $70. Just seems like a lot . Also the girls working there took forever to realize I was ready to check out. Like they were ignoring me read more

They act like they a full store of inventory. Took some shoes to sell, shoes that are from forever 21 and other good brands. Some shoes are brand new and never worn and other were worn maybe three times. They wasted my time by looking at the shoes a brief minute and then proceeded to tell me to going to a different store because they were being "picky" because they're a small store whichever that means. read more

Uptown Cheapskate - dressing room - Men's Clothing Near Me - South Jordan, Utah

I arrived at the store with two big boxes of brand name clothing that were all in great condition, and when I walk in no one bothered to talk to me or acknowledge me until I presented myself several minutes later. After checking in and waiting for an hour and a half, they called me up to give me a quote for $10 cash and $12.50 store credit, saying they can only accept THREE of my items! Considering I brought in very nice clothing, (not damaged at all) and expensive brand name clothing, I was shocked to hear that's all they could offer me! And on top of that the employees that were sorting through clothes were very rude and didn't care to explain why your ridiculous policies are the way they are! Lastly, I can honestly say that I strongly regret not asking for my clothes back after they said they can only keep three items and donate the rest, because after leaving the store I quickly learned from others experiences, that employees are either caught stealing items or the store just ends up selling the clothes that they claim they can't take. what a scam. read more

Probably one of the worst thrift shops I have been to. First off this place is tiny but jam packed to the point where you are constantly bumping into someone. Now with selling, I showed up on a Saturday and they said it would be an hour wait because they were busy. Okay whatever I get that, then they said that since I haven't sold there before they would need me to stay in the store. I told them I was busy but that's understandable I guess. Fast forward to today (Monday) I came and was greeted coldly but was I was happy because they said it shouldn't take very long at all. I went to check in and saw there was a thing to fill out for my drivers license. I asked the girl and she said they needed my license number. I explained that I didn't have it on me but I could get a picture of it and after a few minutes she tells me she also needs it to be in person. I asked her why they would need all this information with my drivers license and she told me to make sure these clothes of mine weren't stolen. Listen maybe I'm just being dumb but how in the world would they know if my clothes were stolen by having my license info? It's not even that I'm upset over the fact that I didn't have my license and they needed it but the girl's tone was very snarky and she did not seem to care. read more
