I have 33 JessaKae dresses (and counting!) so I feel fairly qualified to review this brand. Honestly, I was very surprised to see the low reviews here. I suspect it's due to their return policy, which does frustrate people since if you need to return something, you only have a short window to do it, and you only get store credit, not your money back. I disagree with this policy too and think it should be changed, but after 33 dresses I've never had issues with this so clearly with a little bit of planning and care, a person can reasonably avoid needing to return something (yes there are always extenuating circumstances, which is why I do still think the return policy should be more generous). I've also seen people complain about the cost of the dresses, but I think it's important to note here that the cost matches the quality. These aren't dresses from Walmart or fast-fashion type pieces. These are exquisite dresses made to last and stand out in a good way. When I discovered JessaKae, I lived far from their showroom and used to have to order dresses and hope based on the size chart that I was getting the right size - spoiler: by using the size chart for each dress, plus reviews and the models' "try-on" videos with advice provided for each dress, I was ALWAYS able to buy the correct size. However, I recently moved back to Utah and now get to visit the showroom on a regular basis. It's absolutely beautiful. It's so clear that JessaKae cares about curating a customer experience that makes each person feel beautiful and valued. I really appreciate that. Every time I've gone into the showroom, I've had good experiences. The employees have consistently been friendly and kind, they'll grab anything you want from the warehouse to try it on if it's in stock, no one has ever complained about needing to go back to grab me another dress, or rushed me, or anything. They often host sales and mini parties in the store complete with food and other nice little touches for their customers. It is impossible to deny that they obviously care about the experience their customers have. They also have excellent customer service. On the few times I've needed to contact them, they've always resolved my questions in a satisfactory and professional manner. Specifically, Michelle has helped me several times and I appreciate her positive attitude and her capability to take care of things quickly and effectively. Their customer service team and the employees take feedback seriously (there have been several times when I was standing in the store and mentioned something to an employee and they texted my feedback in, right at that moment) and I have seen JessaKae make changes to policies and in other areas directly based on the feedback they get from their customers. I recommend JessaKae to everyone, especially people who love beautiful, unique dresses that are high quality, and who want to stand out and support a business that cares about everything, including the little details. read more

Ask anyone who has shopped with JessaKae and they will say that her customer service is THE WORST. They take forever to reply and sometimes don't even respond at all. Returns are horrible. They're super SNEAKY with their return policy. You ONLY receive STORE CREDIT for returns. You can never get your money back. It's absolutely ridiculous because if you look on Poshmark, Mercari, or other Facebook groups, women are desperately trying to sell their cheap unwanted jessakae dresses because they can't return it for cash. Jessa is super rude and makes fun of other companies ALL THE TIME! Check her TikTok's! I would stay away and shop at other companies like Rachel Parcell, Ivy City Co, and Adrianna papell. If you're spending over $200 on a dress, you might as well take your money elsewhere where you can actually get your money back if the dress doesn't fit you!! I hate this company. I was on the search for cute unique plus size dresses that made me feel good, but were still cute. I was generally tired of the very typical plus size clothes & stores that just fit you in a plus size boring box, they were bland and only offered very un-flattering styles! I had been following JK for a while on the gram and I never bought anything because I was skeptical about the sizing. I assumed the plus sizes they offered were going to just be the plus sizes that when they say it's a 2X it's really only a large. Then earlier this year I decided to take a chance. Let me tell you, OBSESSED is an understatement! I'm like 10 dresses in (and counting) the dresses are so pretty, unique and makes me feel amazing! As a plus size gal I don't want to feel like I can't wear certain styles, let alone most places don't even make true plus size styles! JK is size inclusive from XS-5X (even 6X) in reality price point is not too expensive, I used to shop at a well know plus size store (starts with a T ends in D) and those dresses are between $75-120 and the quality is not good at all! With JK the dresses range from $90- low $200 but the quality is amazing. With the other brand, you would wear it once, wash it and the material was already fading, buttons falling off. A few reasons why I love JessaKae dresses: 1. They are made very high quality. With every dress I've purchased (I've purchased 5 so far) I can tell they were made with care and are made to last. When I first purchased a dress from there shop I was skeptical (because of previous online shopping nightmares) but what you see is what you get! And the prices are very justifiable 2. The size inclusivity! As a woman who fluctuates between L-1XL, I so appreciate the effort they put in to make EVERY dress they sell available to plus sizes! Fit usually depends on the dress, but in my experience I've always like ordering one size up. (I'm a size 14 and feel the 1XL is a perfect fit in most dresses) 3. The feminine designs! The designs of these dresses are so classically feminine and unique and every time I wear one I get loads of compliments on the style! The ruffles, the floral prints, the detailing, the puffy sleeves, sweetheart necklines, etc! 4. The modesty. I find it so rare nowadays to find dresses that are well made, beautifully designed AND maintain modesty. I, personally, am not a fan of exposing a lot of cleavage and I always feel very comfortable and confident! I found this company in January and have never looked back. I started with a single dress and I have now filled my closet with JessaKae. The dresses are shirred or smocked which leaves a lot of wiggle room for size and makes the dresses fit almost always perfect for this hourglass shaped girl. I have never felt so feminine and pretty. I get SO MANY compliments on every dress when I go out and I love that they are modest but beautiful. Also, I have the trifecta of Strawberry dresses, the shortcake dress is by far the best. I am an XL across the board and have never needed to return anything because that size is true for every dress, fitted or not. They have dresses and tops for all occasions. I've never had a dress or shirt shrink. Always on cold, always delicate cycle, hang dry and steam out any wrinkles. I take care of my JessaKae because I consider all my dresses to be prized possessions. Everytime I have had to contact customer service they have been helpful and kind. Every social media interaction has been friendly. My only issue with JessaKae.... I'm addicted and need to slow down on buying dresses! I really appreciate JessaKae. I ordered the Juliette dress for my engagement photo session. I received it and it was beautiful, the only problem I had was it was slightly tight. I sent it back to make an exchange and the mail system took unusually long. I started communicating with Ana H. at JessaKae and told her my predicament. She said when they received it she would give me the option to express ship it back to me. I accepted the fact that the dress wasn't going to get here in time because I thought it was going to take a long time to process it. Then out of nowhere I got an email that it was processed and going to be shipped soon. I connected with Ana H., paid for the express shipping, and she went above and beyond to get the dress out in time for my engagement photos. JessaKae has some of the most beautiful dresses, from lovely basic Sunday cotton to embroidered and sequined fantasy. They are high quality and come in the largest range of sizes, especially for plus size ladies. They frequently run sales so it makes it quite affordable for the style of dresses they carry. Shipping is quick and customer service is friendly. You can trust the sizes given for each garment and based on the measurements yo may have to go up or down a size, but they are good about giving sizing advice in the descriptions. There is nothing that I have found that could be considered a negative about JessaKae. The dresses remind me a lot of my favorite brand from the 80s which was Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock (showing me age now ). Perhaps that is why I love them so much. I had previously been to this store to pick up some dresses I ordered online for my daughters and I. It was a beautiful store- and I eagerly anticipated when I could come to shop in store. Last week, I was finally able to go in person to try dresses on. I was on a bit of a time-crunch and the 2 associates that assisted me were extremely helpful. They brought me dresses, helped zip & unzip the dresses at my request when trying them on, and were efficient in all aspects. They were kind, knowledgeable- and made the whole process smooth. I was in and out within a half hour and tried on like half a dozen dresses. I ended up wearing it that same night and got so many compliments on it. I have a rather large wishlist build up now lol and plan to slowly update my closet with many of their pieces! Quality, style, and comfort! The second I saw the moonlight dress in November I knew this was my second wedding day dress. It was everything to me however I missed the first round and was heartbroken. I wrote the owner/IG asking if it'd come back and she said it would just wouldn't be for bit. I appreciated her kindness and honestly because I didn't see it until February but purchased right away. I had a wonderful experience with JessaKae. Although I adored the dress that I ordered, it didn't fit and wasn't available in a larger size, so I needed to return it. Sadly, I got hit with the flu and was down and out for way too long. On the day that I came back to the world, I went to order my return label and discovered that the return window had closed the previous day. I've followed JessaKae on socials for quite a while now and have filled my cart several times. I haven't bit the bullet as I live in Canada and wanted to be able to try the dresses on before I did. My family and I were vacationing in Utah and saw that the Bluffdale location had just opened and so I made a point to stop on our way back home.
