When I met with the planners at the church, they shared with me the Wedding Policy which included some tips for brides on modesty. In it, there were three websites for examples of modest wedding gowns, which I found very helpful. One of the websites was for Moments Made. I was surprised to see how many of the dresses I loved on their website! However, I was bummed to see they were not local to Arizona. But fortunately for me, I travel to Salt Lake City often for work and already had a trip planned there. I was SO excited to book an evening appointment at Moments Made while I was there for work. I went in on a Tuesday evening and pretty much had the entire place to myself. My consultant, Amber, was SO helpful. She made me feel like a princess, ensured she had a grasp of what I was looking for. And luckily, I had already obsessed over the website enough where I had about 8 dresses picked out. We tried on many of them and (as I'm sure happens with most brides), the one I thought would be the top contender wasn't really jiving with me. Towards the end of my appt, I was torn between two dresses. Amber was patient with me and allowed me to try both on again and spend quite a bit of time in each. She even dressed me up with a veil, had me hold flowers, put on jewelry, etc. It really helped to be able to see the whole look come together. What I appreciate most is how thoughtful she was in helping me narrow it down. She could tell I was very torn and I didn't have any family or friends present with me to help make the decision. She asked me "What do you NOT like about each dress?" I told her for Dress #1, I didn't like that it was sparkly and it was a bit too heavy. For Dress #2, I told her that I didn't like that it was V-Neck (I wanted sweetheart) and I wanted it to have a tad fuller of a skirt for an A-line dress. Very quickly, she was able to show me that Dress #2 could be altered to make it sweetheart and also add layers underneath to make it a fuller skirt. On the contrary, it would be pretty impossible to remove the sparkles off of Dress #1. And just like that, I had my answer and was able to to say "yes" to the dress! Amber also helped me to try to find a local seamstress in Arizona (I ended up going with someone else, but still appreciated her going out of her way). She also picked out a veil and earrings for me that looked really nice. I figured "Oh well I'll buy them and probably end up getting something else later on." But sure enough, those were the earrings I ended up wearing on my wedding day! I also got a store credit for buying the dress and was able to buy some nice sweaters while I was in store as well. Surprisingly, as someone who is very fickle (especially with fashion), I am shocked to say that I purchased my dress in October, got married in June and NEVER once did I waver on purchasing this dress. It was so perfect for me and I got so many compliments on it. I look back at the pictures now and feel like it is a timeless, classic dress. I felt so beautiful in it and am very grateful to Amber for helping me narrow down the perfect dress for my big day!

The bridal party went from enjoyment to complete mood killer after we were reprimanded for pulling a dress down that was not approved by the girl helping us. She first told us she doesn't like to even show dresses that aren't in there budget even though there was nothing she liked in her price range and almost to just settle. I don't quickly told her that price range can change especially if there is nothing she even kind of likes. I didn't know you weren't suppose to look at dresses on racks because some aren't even available until fall . I tried to explain that we needed to get into at least the style she liked. We had to keep asking for the veil and the gloves. I have gone to so many bridal dress fitting and that one experience spoiled me forever Almost like the movie "pretty woman" when Julia Robert's try's to go buy a dress and she gets treated poorly until Richard gear goes with her.

I actually really like this uptown cheap skate because…read more 1. There's plenty of parking! What ease! 2. It's organized and easy to find what you need 3. There's food places next door and a coffee shop across the way I really like it here when I stopped by and on top of it, they took the most items out of all the uptown cheapskates places I went to! Don't sleep on this one. The selection also has a lot of unique items especially sports wise. I felt like that they had a good selection. I will be coming back, but it is farther from the salt lake area.

SUPER DISAPPOINTING. 6/2/26…read moreThere was a coach purse my daughter saw the workers talking about it and trying on during their work shift and my daughter saw it and was interested in it but was nervous to ask about it so we (myself and my mother in law) asked about the coach purse and they let us look to see the condition and we said we will take it and asked them to hold for us until we were done shopping and they said they would. We continue to shop and then they tell my mother in law that it was actually on hold for someone else and that they were coming to pick it up later. I speak to an employee telling her we will stick around to see if anyone picks it up and if not we will buy it and she was very insistent that this customer was "coming." My daughter waited near the front check-out desk to see if anyone came to pick up the bag the entire time and no one had come and then all of a sudden they said the customer had come, but my daughter never saw them take the bag out or sell it. It was apparent that the entire staff including assistant manager? knew about the situation and were all in on it. I'd really rather go to uptown murray or any other location now. I can't believe they would be this shiesty of human beings. I've recommended this location to my co-workers and friends which have shopped and sold their clothing items here, but I will definitely be notifying them of this situation and recommending they go elsewhere. Shiesty people aren't trustworthy. I'll take my recommendations, money and clothing elsewhere.

We had agreed upon pricing but with the winter being slower, we hadn't brought towels for the last four weeks. Totally understand if they wanted to charge us a tiny bit more But it seriously isn't even a wash and fold anymore. It's just a wash. They just charge $95 for the same amount of towels. We've been getting washed the last five years. Their service has been embarrassing. I seriously wouldn't trust them if you want a good deal and to feel taken care of!

Desperately seeking an open same day or next day dry cleaner, I came across one that was near my hotel in Draper, Utah. I called, and like most if not all, they were closed on Sunday. However, I left my phone number in the hope that maybe I would get a call Monday morning, then I moved on to explore what other options I had. Within just a couple of minutes, my phone rang with Rebecca cheerfully and kindly on the other end offering to be of service. She explained that if I brought my blazer in by nine in the morning, I would have it by three in the afternoon. Wow that's all I can say. What great service. I'm looking forward to meeting her, and paying what I'm sure will be a reasonable amount for such great service. No laundry bags were delivered. So I called and found out that even though they have the new card number, they never ran it for the balance owed, so they held on to our laundry. This is the kind of BS that drives me insane and makes me look for another vendor.

I have also used their premium service to preserve my daughter-in-law's wedding dress. While nervous about entrusting this precious dress to anybody, they assured me it would be well taken care of. They informed me it would be 4 to 6 weeks to complete. About a month after I dropped it off I received a text saying it was ready. The stains on her dress, which had accumulated during a jubilant reception almost a year ago, were gone! The dress was returned, immaculately preserved, in a beautiful presentation box. While you can go inside to drop things off or set up an account, their drive-through service is perfect for jetting in and out of your errands as quickly and conveniently as possible. Staff are always smiling and friendly. I can highly recommend this business.
