I started buying Athleta clothing within the past year, and will be a customer forever because of places like this and their customer service, as well as the quality of their pieces. Everything I've purchased at Athleta has been such good quality, including their leggings that I literally wear almost ever single day and wash often. None of the leggings I've purchased have lost their quality with multiple washes and wears. I've been here several times this year and the staff is so friendly and helpful, and great at helping you find things that will look good on you. If you're ever trying anything on in at this location, they'll be your personal hype squad. I bought a pair of cargo pants here earlier this year - in a color I would've never picked out on my own, and a style that I never thought would look good on me. The employee who picked them out for me basically encouraged me to trust the process, and they ended up looking amazing on me. It's a well lit, clean store with an amazing team of people. Parking during peak hours can sometimes be tricky because they share the parking lot with several other businesses, but I've always been able to find a spot.

The new location also has a stroller/wheelchair button to open the door for you, and I'm loving it! This new location is also more spacious, with a little more room to navigate with a stroller/car seat. Overall, I really like Carter's clothes (and their associated brands). Some of the new releases are expensive, but if you can get it on sale or take advantage of the rewards program, you can get some great deals. I also highly recommend utilizing the in-store pickup, although some staff members definitely seem to know what's going on with pickup more than others.

If you sign up for their email notices you get extra deals. Something is always on clearance, so I try and buy for the next year's season to save money as Carter's can be expensive.

Tanks were buy one get TWO free (yeah, you heard me right; totally not a typo). The staff greeted me in a really friendly manner when I came in and were extremely helpful--maybe too helpful!!--with pointing out all of the mermaid things they'd just gotten in. There's a whole table in the middle of the store that is filled with all things mermaid and unicorn. One of the girls even found a mermaid crown and hair jewelry (not really sure what else to call it?) that were really amazing. Currently rocking the red hair, I can totally pull off the Ariel look with the right makeup. One of the cute girls working in the store (I really wish I knew her name, because she was an amazing sales person!) went around the with me, making it so much easier to find everything. If there's one complaint I have about Hot Topic, it's that you really have to sift through everything to find something, especially the shirts along the walls on racks. She wasn't pushy, and I felt like I was shopping with one of my best friends. Even when it came time to the ring out and I was pre-approved for a Hot Topic credit card, she handled it perfectly without pushing it on me. Super awesome experience, and she was incredibly sweet even though we'd come in not too long before the store was closing. As I was checking out she even told me it was fun hanging out with me. I thought that it had gone out of business, but it had just moved and then I went to their new location and they were all taped up and the windows were boarded up again, and I thought they were gone again, so I started buying my Hugo boss at Nordstrom. I had a limited selection there and so it's nice to see that they're here again. It really is all very confusing but all in all, if you need to look good and you're a man in Salt Lake City this is probably the best place to do it.
