Unfortunately after multiple attempts to resolve an issue, I was unable to get ahold of anyone in the service department. Before taking my car there, I called to verify some information and whoever answered wasn't polite. Anyways, I needed a oil change service. I took my 2019 Jeep Wrangler in for service on March 30, 2021. I wasn't treated nicely, and they made me feel extremely uncomfortable. They told me to call my own Uber even tho they told me they would shuttle me. It was very awkward and I waited nearly 45 minutes standing outside. They then called me and told me that they couldn't fully service a warranty repair and to come pick up the vehicle. I went back to pick up the vehicle and I was told they needed to wait for a part. They would have to call me back when it arrived. I've called multiple times (over 10 times to be exact), during business hours, talked with an operator and always transferred with no answers. I have left messages and nothing. It is June 13th, 2021 and my car still hasn't been repaired and I will no longer attempt to reach them. Also, ever since I took my vehicle to this location, it has a rattling noise and I cannot figure it out for the life of me. I have received over 3 messages to fill out a survey and I respond to those texts with no responses. I am highly concerned with this business and will be reaching out to corporate Jeep to find a solution. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS. read more

This Dealership is a joke, I cannot believe their ethics . I've been in vehicle sales and finance for the last 8 years . I was at this dealership for 6 hours, multiple "manager turns" just for me to get exactly what I asked for in the first 5 mins. As if the buying process wasnt bad enough, my jeep was a total loss 5 months later. They REFUSED to help me over the phone, was bounced around the sales dept for 4 days without a returned call . Finally I just made the 60 mile trek . When i showed up they only wanted to sell me a car, when I explained my total loss, as my jeep was run off the road and down a cliff.. they changed their attitude and I was told finance was busy . I could clearly see the finance woman, Zamora , in her office, on her cell phone scrolling. After an hour the sales guy walked me in there to speak to her, she said she was busy waiting on a customer, couldn't help me but only to give me the form and no pen. HOLY MOLY.. Once I explained I've done her same job for many years, had 30k in my pocket, 800 score, ready to buy another car, she found a pen and wanted to be friendly . It was far too late for me to even consider giving this dealership another penny. This was in May.. I called ALLY today 7/9 to check on when I will get my refund as its been over 2 months.. to find out VAN NUYS CDJR NEVER CANCELED THE WARRANTY.... seriously DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS DEALERSHIP. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Worst experience of my life. I had previously purchased a Jeep from them in 2015. I went back in on a Saturday and there was a frat house going on inside. One salesperson said he would help me, walked away and never came back. I went to the front desk and the woman said how she could help me. He was going to send me a quote - we exchanged texts and he never got back to me with anything, after promising he was going to. Nothing. I then tried for a third time, so I called the dealership, was transferred around to three different people and ended up talking to someone named Jose who said he was "the loyalty manager." I told him what I wanted and he quoted me an outrageous price, far above any quote I received from a previous dealership. He then said he would get back to me with a revised quote. He never did. Just ghosted me. Then, two days later, someone named "Lily" texted me to see if she could help with my car purchase. WHAT? Fortunately, I had the complete opposite experience at Downtown LA Jeep Chrysler. They were utterly professional, easy to work with, quoted me fair prices, were competitive and I bought the car from them within an hour being at their dealership. I have been waiting for a call back from the service department since Saturday. I leased my car from this dealership a couple months ago and have been having issues filling up my gas tank. I brought my car in twice since, once for the service department to determine it was a manufacturer default. And the second time for the "repairs." They had my car for two days, promised everything was tested and gave the car back. I quickly realized nothing had been fixed. I have left several messages with my service adviser, Isabelle, as well as the service director, Roy and I have received 0 call backs. Interestingly enough the only contact I have received is a text from Isabelle asking me to complete an email survey from Chrysler. And now a little about that - When I put my VIN into this dealerships website two accounts come up. One with my correct email address and one with a completely made up email address. When I told Isabelle that the email address she has listed for me is incorrect, instead of updating it in the system, she just wrote my email address on a piece of paper. This is why I'm not receiving the Chrysler surveys. I used to handle the advertising and marketing for dealerships across the country and the manufacturer surveys can make or break a dealership. This is why this dealership is inputting incorrect emails into their system. Shady. I have submitted a complaint to Chrysler and have been put in touch with a Chrysler representative. The unresponsiveness and lack of ownership from this dealership is unacceptable. The influx of one star reviews shows that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Personally, I love to get oil changes at a dealership. It's documented with Mopar and includes everything that was done. But dear God man... service department online says open till 7pm. Express lane available. As always first come first served, which is pretty standard. I even called ahead to make sure. I get there at around 4:45 or so, only to be told that the Express lane closes at 4. It's printed no where that these are the hours of the Express lane. They just told me that they stop taking oil changes at 4:00pm. That's absurd! I have to literally tell the rep (Franklin) that I wanted to speak with a manager to understand why this is being said. He didn't want me to speak with a manager so he was seeing what could be done. Never had an issue like this at other dealerships. The rep said he'd talk with the tech to try and get him to stay later to get my jeep in, which he did and I'm extremely grateful at least for that. Half of the issue stemmed from the fact that they had another tech call out today and were lacking manpower. I understand things like this happen, but why should the customer suffer for lack of staff? After all of this, I THEN had an issue when trying to use the Mopar coupon... my fault, the first coupon i had was for 3 synthetic blend oil changes for $99.95... said I couldn't use it because I was getting full synthetic. Disgruntled I say fine and while in the waiting area right next to the coupon I was trying to use before was one for 3 Full Synthetic Oil Changes for $154.95... I was happy as could be when I found that coupon... only to be told when I went to pay that they couldn't use the coupon since they already printed the invoice... they wanted to charge me $180 for just one full synthetic oil change and tire rotation... I have never had an issue using a coupon at time of payment at any dealership I've been to in the past and I've had my Wrangler for 6 years. To go through this much hassle the very first time visiting a dealership is insane. I am new to the area and after this incident, I would rather take my money to another dealership further away in hopes of receiving better service. I get you want to make money...but dealing with issue after issue is unacceptable and leaves the customer not wanting to go back. In the end, I was able to use the Mopar Coupon and have my oil change counted towards it. Which I am grateful for, but I should not have had to deal with any of this to begin with and it gives a bad name to Jeep. read more

I own a 2019 Jeep Cherokee that I originally leased for 3 years and then purchased at the end of my lease. This is the 4th Jeep I have owned. At the time my lease ended I had 16,880 miles on the vehicle and Chrysler Financial gave me a good price to buy the vehicle from them. My intention was to buy it and then sell it at the higher book value soon after. I could not sell the Jeep until I received the original title and then made the title change through DMV. 2 weeks ago, while I have been waiting for the tittle change, my car would not start and needed to be jump started. I brought it to Russell Westbrook and after doing a diagnostic they determined that it was a faulty battery. I was told that my basic warranty had expired and that I would have to pay full price for the replacement and the service. I complained that car only had 17,000 miles on it and that I didn't understand how the battery could go bad so quickly and how it was without a warranty. They eventually lowered the price by claiming it was a customer courtesy. 2 days after I got the car back, and after driving less than 100 miles, my check engine light came on. I brought it back to Russell Westbrook and this time they claimed that it was something else that was not under warranty that must have gone bad in the few days that I had the car between visits to the dealership. I was given a choice to either pay $560 for the car to be fixed or $220 for the service appointment. I asked the service person I was dealing with, Benny, why their mechanics hadn't seen this problem when they had the car a few days earlier and he basically said that it must have become a problem after I took the car back. I made a complaint to Jeep Customer Care and they said that either way $220 was very high just to inspect the vehicle. They are currently investigating the issue and say they will fully refund me whatever Russell Westbrook charges me. Interestingly, while I was on the phone with Customer Care, I received an automated email from Russell Westbrook telling me that after carefully examining my vehicle, the car had no issues that needed to be addressed. I am not an overly suspicious person but I find it highly suspect that a car with 17,100 miles could have 2 separate problems within 2 days of each other, neither of which were covered. As I said before, I have purchased 4 Jeeps over the years. I was planning on buying a new one this year. After this experience, I have completely changed my mind. I only hope that Jeep customer care honors what they said and reimburses me for this situation. Car companies need to treat their good customers better. They quoted a full week to be able to see my car after I dropped it off for an appointment and it was ready exactly a week after. That being said, they do not have courtesy vehicles and the service person told me to go rent a car and that ram would pay me back. I went to rent a car, got a cheap car, and when I went to apply for reimbursement from RAM they told me they would only reimburse me up to $40/day. Had a service for my vehicle and brought it in. The service included a tire rotation the next day I look at my vehicle and notice they didn't rotate my tires. Please make sure you check the services your paying before you leave, but I was hesitant to take the vehicle back to get the tires rotated because you never know what type of service you would get if you complain about something that was suppose to be done after it was paid. I have called for six days trying to reach anyone able to help me with the financing on my car (I have phone logs and email receipts). I called multiple times a day, left at least one message a day, and emailed. No one has called me back and now, the voicemail of the finance office doesn't email work. I called the General Manager to let him know I wasn't able to get ahold of the Finance Manager and what do you know, left messages and never heard back. I have never had so much trouble paying for a car - Don't you want my money? I'm upset about my battery dying day two after spending well over $50,000 on a new car BUT I'm more upset I can't reach a single person to help me with anything. I don't say this lightly, but this is by far the worst dealership I have dealt with in my entire life. The sales representative and manager I dealt with lacked basic knowledge of their own products (several late model Jeeps and a Durango) and instead of simply saying "I'm not sure, let me find out for you," they proceeded to use as many high-pressure sales tactics as possible until I left. Though this dealership is only minutes from where I live, I drove over 100 miles away to Carl Burger CJDR to purchase a vehicle the very next day because the sales representative there was honest, genuine, and helpful. When my Dodge Durango (still under warranty) needed service and a diagnosis for multiple electronic faults, I thought I'd give Russell Westbrook CJDR another chance. After leaving my car there for a week for a diagnosis, the service advisor neglected to contact me even once. I went back to the dealership only to receive news that they "couldn't figure out the problem". They only thing they could tell me was that there was an outstanding recall. Against my better judgement, I scheduled a time and date to bring my Durango back when they assured me that the recall could be fixed and the diagnosis could be performed. When I dropped the car off again, the lack of communication continued. After multiple attempts to reach ANYONE in the service department, I was repeatedly forwarded to service advisor Robert's voicemail. After leaving several voicemails which were never returned, other service advisors told me that "it was his file" and that he was sick or on vacation as if that was a reasonable excuse for why I hadn't been contacted. After speaking with the manager (Roy?), suddenly Robert was much more communicative. He informed me that the only way they could properly diagnose the problems I was experiencing was for a service tech or advisor to drive my vehicle as their own personal vehicle for a day or two so that they could identify the problem in real world conditions. Several days later, Robert informed me of several repairs that needed to be performed. He told me that they needed to order several parts and then the repairs would be completed under warranty. After another week of back-and-forth with Robert, I was told that the parts from the main warehouse had been delayed. Days later, they supposedly received the parts only to discover that they weren't the correct parts. Excuse after excuse lead to my vehicle being there for over a month. When I finally got the call that my car was ready to pick up and that everything had been taken care of, I was in disbelief. Could it really be true? Robert explained via phone call all the work that had been done and how he personally drove my Durango home and back to work several days to ensure that everything was in order. He even promised me that it would be "detailed" so that when I came to pick it up, it would be nice and clean. I arrived at the dealership that afternoon not surprised that Robert was nowhere to be found. After searching for the paperwork for some time, one of the other advisors had me sign the necessary documents and pay the fees while they pulled my car around. I looked around the car to inspect the "detail" wash that Robert had promised. Instead, I found a layer of dust covering the whole exterior of the car, water stains, and black grease marks on the interior headliner and windshield pillars. To my amazement, the front bumper and grille looked out of alignment as if it had been removed and not replaced properly. I immediately went back into the service office and asked the helpful advisor I had been dealing with to inspect the car and tell me if he thought it was acceptable. He seemed to be in shock and offered to have his manager call me the next day. In utter disbelief and frustration, I just decided to leave and never return. I started my Durango up to find that the fuel gauge was below empty. When I dropped the car off, it still had AT LEAST a quarter tank of gas. I reviewed the invoice to find that they HAD ACTUALLY CHARGED ME FOR FUEL. Less than a half mile from the dealership, my engine stalled in the middle of the road, just feet from the nearest gas station. Unsurprisingly, I never received a call to follow up or apologize for what had taken place. In fact, one of the issues I brought it in for to begin with hadn't been addressed at all. The very next day, I received the same error message saying that the Rear Cross-Traffic Sensors were "unavailable". A fitting term seeing as that the service advisor who supposedly addressed these issues personally was almost always unavailable when I needed to reach him. Months after this ordeal, I have taken the time to write this comprehensive review of my experience as I feel the responsibility to warn all current or future CJDR owners to AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. read more

Mind you I bought this brand new a few weeks ago as you can see by my review. Dealer kept it a few days couldn't find anything. Bring the car back home starts making sounds again a few days later. Going to reach out to corporate! Best part is they had my car with them for a few days and couldn't even take care of the windshield recall Chrysler has lmao! What a joke. The first time I came here was Feb 28, 2021, I purchased my Dodge Challenger. As soon as we pulled in that day, I felt overwhelmed by a bunch of salesmen. I was fine before arriving, but out of nowhere my anxiety came over me. Bc of the overwhelming feeling of money hungry dealers. At the time, I couldn't process my emotions. I was ready to buy a car, but the plan was just to look. Anyways. I don't remember my salesmen's name. We told him the car I was interested in, & they drove us to another lot with that inventory. Before we got to the other lot, the salesmen says "are you gonna be buying a car today?" Granite I understand that's his job but I automatically didn't like that question. And I'm very big on energy and vibes. I didn't bother to respond. My dad was with me & responded with, "It depends, if the price is right". I didn't respond because, I'm like bruh, can we see what you guys have first. I sometimes see and hear about people having a comfortable, pleasant, positive, smooth sailing car buying experiences & salesmen. But that wasn't my experience. Fast forward, I still wasn't feeling well because of my anxiety. But I saw the car with the exact trimmings that I wanted, test drove it. And headed back to go over paperwork. We went over numbers but not long after dad felt like the numbers we spoke about vs what was put on paper was not accurate. I also had a nice size down payment. Their money counter wasn't working, so they had to count by hand. They had asked me how I got my money. I literally said "it's legit". I didn't like that question either. Because I worked very hard for that, all throughout the pandemic. It was just weird. Anyways, we arrived during the day, when we were finished, it was literally closing time. It was a veryyy long process. My salesmen tells me to just put the lights on automatic. I receive a flash drive that the paper work is suppose to be on and keys, drive off in my new challenger, but get a call 5 minutes later of the salesmen telling me to come back because of something with him giving me the wrong keys. That was a little annoying. He also didn't have my car carpets, so he told me to come back the next day to pick them up. (My dad still feels a way about the numbers. And he has already pre-planned for us to go somewhere else for my next car, because of the experience we had). We didn't get forms, just a flash drive. When we tried to put the flash drive in my computer, nothing pops up. It was all pretty annoying. Fast forward today May 21, 2023. I was looking to get my car serviced. I called a couple times but no answered, I thought they may have been busy so I drove over, pulled in on the service side and a nice short gentleman told they were closed & how they changed their hours on Sundays. As I was just about to leave, the guy behind him ask me if I'm looking to trade in my car. I asked if I could test drive the Challenger widebody. But the man straight up lied to me, speaking to me as if I was some naive, dumb, ditzy little girl. He was like "are you gonna buy it?" Besides, he was very money hungry & rude. And why would I agree to making a big purchase like that, before test driving it? Idc if it's similar to my current car, I'm the type of person who needs to get a feel for it, taste it or try it on, just to make sure this is something I really want. That's just me. So I responded with a no just to say no. (And I don't believe you should show all your cards) Then he says, "yeah no we're not allowed to do that, unless you're gonna buy the car. You wouldn't wanna buy a car with a lot of miles on it, would you?" So therefore we're not allowed to. But it's the same as the one you have just larger". Then he starts telling me about how there gonna stop making them, which I'm well aware of that. After I then get in my car to leave I pull forward to the other gate to exit, but they never not once gave the courtesy to let me know that gate was closed. They literally watched me reverse and turn back around, knowing that other gate wasn't open and didn't say anything. And mind you, I've been looking into trading my car for the widebody model. Simply because I want to upgrade and I love challengers. Hell I bought my first challenger here why not come here again for my upgrade, despite what my first experience was. Had my experience went differently even today, I would have definitely brought my dad. I told my dad what happen. He even said what the guy said was a lie. But I very well knew that. But it's all good, because we will not be returning to purchase any other cars from them. I will only be coming for the free service work, until I run out, other than that they just lost a customer. My dad wouldn't really recommend them either. But I say go at your own risk, & make sure you are being treated kindly & with respect. I waited, almost a month to sign up for an open appointment for my trucks, first factory service, and upon arriving, they said they don't do oil changes with appointments, only walk ins. This is so disappointing that I can't get a simple oil change from an appointment that was made to top it all off. They offered an oil change, but would be Complete seven hours after. Just Swapped my old Grand Cherokee with a new one. The whole process was easy till a month after the sale. My return car is been sitting in their lot for over a month and they have not processed it. I received a letter from Chryler capital saying they will need to recover the car. I left 3 messages for Oscar S. to call me back he never did, I left a message for the finance manager to call me back, never heard back. Worst customer experience ever. I was looking into buying a Dodge Durango at this location but ended up buying at Cerritos Dodge. The sales manager Rodrigo was such an arrogant person that was bothered when I would ask him questions. When I asked him about the partnership they have with NavyFederal Credit Union Rodrigo had no clue what I was talking about. They do not honor there online adds. The salesperson Rene would tell me one thing and Rodrigo would say something different. Also, it was such a hot day and they didn't offer any water. Before going to the dealer I was in contact with an internet salesperson from Cerritos and told him what I was looking for what I wanted to pay monthly and that I was already approved by Navy Fed CU. I figured I could get the same deal at the Russel Westboork Dodge big mistake ever. When I showed Rodrigo the email conversion I had with Cerritos and they had what I was looking for and could do what I wanted to pay he seemed bothered and instead of trying to work out a deal. He told me there was nothing he could and didn't believe I would get the deal. So he let us leave. So I went to Cerritos Dodge not only did I get the deal I wanted extra perks were added to it and the customer experience wash much better. Lesson learned never go to Russel Westbrook to buy a new car. read more
