    Phone calls made to the dealership with no luck at all of any help. The staff never transfer the call to a manager for me to speak to .

    Completely lost me as a returning buyer. Purchased a car there about 2 years ago to which I bought added protection packages such as the well know GAP and also Mechanical Failure Service Contract. I ended up selling the vehicle to Car Max on February and made sure what was owed on the car was the current value of the car so I would not be negative. So pretty much in supposed to receive a refund for those two options I purchase . I have only received the one for the GAP, I called the company that offered the extra coverage said I have to call the Dealership to see if what going on with the other check (Mechanical Failure Service Contract) I have called over 12 times, spoken to different people who claim they will help me get the message to the person I need to speak to and nothing. Every time I call I want to speak to the General Manager and the staff who answers some polite others not at all just tell me they will make sure this person will call me back and has not happen. First I was looking for Claudia Hernandez (Office Manager) Then Hovik Asatrian (Finance Manager) I left voice messages on two occasion la for Claudia and send 2 emails to Hovik and no response . No one has called me back, you would assume such a fine establishment with reputation to uphold will have better service . After two voice mails ,2 emails , over 2 months of trying to reach someone to help me, more than 12 calls this is just ridiculous at the point . I will make to tell people I know how horrible the service is here so that no one will attempt to even buy a car there . So quick to take your money and offer extra stuff but insane amount of time for someone to even attempt to help me out . I seen the reviews of this place lately and seems I'm not the only one going thru this issue. Sadly it's all true, avoid this dealership.

    Sensor cover

    I purchased a 2019 Stelvio at Alfa Romeo of Van Nuys back in 12/2024 and to this date 03/13/2025 I have not received a call from them about the missing license plate bracket and sensor cover . I had to purchase both a license plate brakes and sensor cover after-market which cost me $80. I will never buy a car here again. I went to Alfa Romeo of Van Nuys because I had a great experience back in 2018 when I leased an Alfa Romeo but will no longer be buying from them. Shame on you Alfa Romeo of Van Nuys.

    I Was Accused of Fraud!!! I had a terrible experience with Van Nuys Alfa Romeo. It was almost two years after I purchased my vehicle from them. I concerted a lease to a sale. I was an out of state customer and had come here because they had the vehicle I thought I wanted. The sales person convinced me to keep the car I had leased a few years earlier. I had the understanding the dealership would take care of any registration and title needs. Two years later I was contacted by Tracy Smith at the registration department-- harassed at this point, she called me everyday for 5 days, left multiple voicemails and emails. She reached out and told me the lender never got the title. Weird, I thought they would handle that as I paid the doc fees. She told me this was very bad, that the lender might call back the loan, and that the title needs to be found and sent back. I told her I might've received it but would need to find it. At this point, I contacted my lender to find out from them what was going on. They reassured me that my loan wasn't at risk of being recalled, or that I shouldn't of been contacted and that the dealership would be able to request a duplicate title to send to them. I spoke with Tracy again, she offered a prepaid FedEx envelope and $50 for the inconvenience if I could find and send the title. I responded to her that I would like the dealer documentation fees I paid when I bought the car refunded. It was after this request that the conversation devolved. I received an unprofessional and rude email response back from her accusing of me acting deliberately fraudulent for two years. She said she was being harassed by the lender and her management over this issue and putting the blame on me. She then offered $150 for my inconvenience but then told me she was also able to pull POA and take care of it without my help. I said "Great, do it yourself." How was my experience with Van Nuys Alfa Romeo? Two years of negligence on their end and I get accused of behaving fraudulently. It's hard for me to give more than zero stars and say buyer beware.

    2024 FIAT 500e Inspi(red) edition.

    While known for selling Alfa Romeo and Maserati, I came here to lease a 2024 FIAT 500e. For the time being, FIAT is back in North America with their electric 500e. My job is going full-time come January, so I wanted to get myself an electric car that'll be economical and give me the ability to use the HOV lane until September when the program ends (yeah, no more one-person electric vehicles in the HOV lanes after September). I didn't want a Tesla cos everyone has one, and the head of the company thinks he's a supervillain the likes of Superman's Lex Luthor. I'm a fan of small city cars and thought the 500e would be fun. I was able to garner a great deal with VNFARM. They went as far as honoring a military discount I had. Small things would come up where you'd think I wouldn't giver them five stars. Their saving grace: Dmitrii, my salesperson. Firstly, Dmitrii was a great communicator, always available and glad to accommodate. He has a great demeanor and you truly feel welcome in his presence. He and his boss, Ali, really went out of their way to help. On the way home, I noticed that the car was shaking a little bit. I brought it in the next day where Dmitrii had us compare the ride of my car with another 500e. Mine felt a bit more jiggly so they took it in for recalculating the alignment and rebalancing the tires. Great! Next was the public charging station credit I was supposed to receive for leasing the car. It took a while, but again Dmitrii made sure I was satisfied and were finally able to receive the credit. Awesome. So while little niggling things popped up that weren't the dealer's fault (hey, it's a FIAT, I know what I'm in for), Dmitrii was there to help any way he could. He wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied after the sale, not just during the negotiating. So now I have a car I thoroughly enjoy, and, thanks to Dmitrii, a positive experience even if it was spread out amongst many days.

    2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Nring

    I've just had a very poor experience with Alfa Romeo Maserati of Van Nuys, formerly Russell Westbrook Alfa Romeo. I put a lot of time and effort into the purchase of a 2019 Giulia Quadrifoglio Nring, number 01 of 55. I put a deposit down, they desked the deal with my Ti Lusso in trade, was told it was in the service dept for a new windshield. Then yesterday the salesman didn't get back to me all day about when the car would be ready to be picked up as he promised and was unreachable. I live 400 miles away. This morning he called to say the car was in need of $30,000 USD in repairs, including suspension damage, so they were going to wholesale it. This car had been serviced at this dealership regularly. Strange thing is subsequently the service dept told me it passed inspection, only needing a new PCV valve. Seems suspicious.

After reviewing everything, I feel like I was heavily upsold on services and parts that either weren't urgently needed or could have been done at a much more reasonable price elsewhere. For example, my vehicle wasn't even due for an oil change yet based on my mileage history. I actually wanted to see if they would be honest about it, but instead I was still sold the service. What really bothered me is that the business promotes honesty and transparency, but my experience felt like the opposite. I didn't feel properly informed or given options -- just pressured into agreeing to expensive add-ons. If you have money to blow, then by all means go to this shop. I originally checked Google reviews and saw mostly positive feedback, which is why I chose this place. But after my experience, I went on Yelp and found multiple reviews describing very similar situations to mine. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any services here. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I started having some very common water pump and vacuum system problems with my beloved 718 Cayman S a few weeks ago - these are well documented issues with the car, but can be very difficult to diagnose and truly fix. When I first started having problems, I decided to go to another shop in the area to get a diagnosis to figure out what was going on. That shop gave me a lot of stress and very little confidence that we would get the issues sorted any time soon, so I decided to come here and met with Amir. Again, the vacuum issues on a 718 especially can be a bit complicated to diagnose. From the moment I started working through these issues with Amir, he was very good on communication, transparency, and did not in any way run up a bill of other random things just to try to get more money. He sent me photos every step of the way of what was being done to my car, communicated on parts coming in, etc - I felt very comfortable having my car there. When Porsche took longer than they had promised us to get a part in, Amir made the wait much easier by helping me out with a rental. The car was driving beautifully after I picked it up, but I ended up with a fault code again and I had to come back in - I don't fault Amir/the shop for this at all, 718 vacuum issues can be very complicated and oftentimes there is no "issue" left other than a ghost code. The experience of coming back here to diagnose why this code came back actually solidified my confidence in this shop - they were once again extremely transparent and very considerate in making my second visit quick and painless. My car is in phenomenal shape, and I saved a good amount of money (and headache) compared to what I was quoted at another spot down the street. Thank you Amir!

I'm pretty picky about my car, so I appreciated that I didn't have to chase them down for info. They hit me with regular updates and photos of the progress, so I knew exactly where things stood. I requested a brake inspection, which was really quick, turned out I had to get my rear brakes changed. They offered to do it the same day for a very reasonable price and less than 3 hours later, my car was ready. Joe has worked on my car for small items like brakes and oil changes all the way up to getting some check engine light issues fixed. Pricing is always great. Brought my car here for a diagnostic thinking the issue was one thing only to find out "no, you don't need that," and saved me a bunch of money I would have likely spent elsewhere. He didn't push me to fix anything that didn't need fixing and pointed out a few things that were old that I might want replaced so I just took all his suggestions because it's a very old car and it needed some extra care. I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.
