Sold Us an Incomplete Vehicle and Refused to Make It Right Purchased a pre-owned AWD vehicle from this dealership in 2024. At the time of sale, they failed to include a full-size spare tire -- which is a standard requirement for all-wheel-drive vehicles. We did not catch this at delivery, and apparently neither did they, or they simply did not care. Fast forward a year and a half: we got a flat tire and went to put on the spare, only to discover the spare provided is a different size than required for an AWD system. Putting a mismatched spare on an AWD vehicle causes serious drivetrain stress and the car became undrivable. We now have to have the car towed to a tire shop. The fix we asked for was straightforward: cover the tow, and make us whole on a proper full-size spare that should have come with the car. That is it. Instead, here is what we got: 10+ unanswered calls over three days Multiple promises of a callback that never came A manager named Sagar who told us he would get back to us -- six hours ago A final promise 3 days later of a callback in 5 minutes -- it has now been 25 minutes and counting Selling us an incomplete vehicle is a problem. Ignoring a customer for 72 hours is a completely different level of failure. They had every opportunity to handle this quickly and cheaply. They chose not to. read more

This dealership engages in deceptive business practices. From false advertisement of auto prices, to having salespeople misrepresent numbers, while management and the finance department contradict each other when dealing with you. They do not communicate well with each other or customers. I've been hung up on, lied to, left waiting on callbacks. I bought a 2022 Dodge Charger Scat Pack on May 2, 2025. I traded in a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado and financed the rest. Capital One, the company that financed the Chevy has continually called, emailed and texted me every single day since, regarding payment on a truck that Van Nuys Maserati took ownership of on May 4, 2025. My credit score was taking a dive because Capital One assumed I still own the truck. I was harassed every day for weeks. I was told it's my responsibility to find out what's going on with that payoff. I reached out on May 13, 2025 to inquire about if and when the payment for the Silverado has been sent out, I've been hung up on, told someone will call me back, been forwarded to random people in random departments. After many attempts to call back, Alfredo helped me get an answer, from a woman named Diane at the new car lot. I was told that the payoff check is ready, but the person that signs the checks "isn't in today." She will be in tomorrow, and once it is sent out, they will send me a tracking number. Why do I have to go on a search for a payoff on a vehicle that THEY OWN now? I kid you not, every time you try and reach someone in the "finance department", no one ever answers the phone. Ever. After dealing with Alfredo, I had a question about a replacement bumper that is supposedly on back order for my Charger. They tried to sell it to me with a broken and cracked front end piece on the bumper. Alfredo passes the phone to a manager named Josh who stated he would call me right back, and that he just had to walk over to his desk, he never did. When I did call back, Luis tells me, all of a sudden Josh and Alfredo are helping a customer. I was a rockstar to Van Nuys Maserati when they knew I was willing to give them my business. Yet now, after buying from them, I'm being treated like a groupie that got kicked off of the tour bus. When I first expressed interest in buying, I was in inundated by multiple calls, texts, and emails by different people asking if I was still wanting to look at vehicles. Even after I bought my Charger Scat Pack from them, that very same day. If there is such an epic push to harass potential customers, the energy is not at all matched when it comes to questions, complaints & concerns. I am not the only person that has been treated this way. One can easily look at reviews for Van Nuys Maserati online, and see others echoing my sentiment. This is outrageous. If I, a savvy businesswoman am willing to speak up not just for myself, but for others too. Imagine all the regular costumers who are being taken advantage of, do not feel heard while continually being gaslit, who are afraid to advocate for themselves. One bit of relief, they paid off my loan for the Chevy, almost an entire month later. SMH. For those of you who have had a terrible experience at Van Nuys Maserati like me, you DO have options. You can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission, The DMV & the Better Business Bureau, and NBCLA has a Consumer Reports Department. I came into this dealership with a pre-approval letter, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The manager gave me attitude as soon as they found out I wasn't financing through them. They made it clear they weren't going to be flexible or work with me on the price not even a small discount simply because I wasn't using their in house financing. It felt like they penalize you for coming in prepared. The entire interaction with management came off as rude, unprofessional, and honestly, a bit sneaky. It was clear they were not interested in helping unless it benefited their financing side. The only positive part of the experience was Gustavo, the sales agent. Do NOT buy a car from these crooks at Van Nuys Maserati CDJR. On 12-31-25 Van Nuys CDJR advertised 2024 Ram truck on Carfax and Autotrader, for $95k. Over the phone the sales guy said that they could do 85k. I said "I'm a serious buyer, willing to pay cash. I'll have to bring my kid with me so let's not waist time." He said "we got you." As soon as I got there, the sales manager said 95k. So we then negotiated for two hours. Every sentence they tried to distract me with monthly payments, I had to say "Stop talking about the monthly payments. I can put down whatever amount or simply pay cash." Then we finally agree on 87K. Then I only when signing papers with the finance manager, luckily I notice they secretly added in $12,500, bundled with there finance plan, for a total of three warranties which I didn't even need, because a vehicle already has a full bumper-to-bumper factory warranty. When I told them I'm not buying those extra warranties, the sales manager told me "We gave you $7000 off, so you have to give us $12,500 for these other warranties whether you need them or not". I told them then I'll pay cash. I don't need thos EXTRA redundant warranties. Then the sales manager replied "then we're not selling you the truck. Unless you buy these $12,500 extra warranties. So of course I walked. These sneaky guys were never even gonna tell me about EXTRA $12,500. It is wise to NOT do business with Van Nuys Maserati CDJR, guys are these criminals. read more

I've been searching for a Levante for weeks, originally looking for brand new only, BUT I came across an a CPO Levante that seemed too good to be true. I came in, they made the process fast, very easy, no pressure and explained everything! I've seen reviews saying bate and switch and honestly I didn't experience any of that here. I do a lot of research on dealerships and cars before I make a decision, but they were really not what some recent reviews had suggested. I will say the only very small negative is their dealership does feel a bit dated, and there aren't any snacks for guests... but I'll trade that for a great deal any day!! I'm extremely flabbergasted and frustrated with Maserati of Van Nuys. I called Tuesday the 21st to get a quote for a transmission service. I was told someone would call me back with that information. I received a text message later in the day asking for my VIN to receive that quote. After hearing nothing since then, I called this morning, the 23rd to follow up on that quote. I was told Maserati wouldn't service the transmission because it has "Lifetime Fluid". Anyone who's a car person know, Lifetime fluid is a "bait and switch term." For those who don't know, it's essentially the lifetime of the vehicle (which could be 4 or 5 years by certain manufacturers. ZF, the maker of the transmission recommends they be service every 50,000 miles. ZF supplies Maserati with the transmissions. So, it's clear, Maserati and this dealer would rather something catastrophic happen where they can quote you for a brand new transmission instead of simply changing the fluid and filter. Considering they have 2022 Maserati's still on the lot, I can see how they are money hungry. However, now I don't trust any Maserati dealer touching my car. If you won't change the fluid and you are denying business until a new transmission is needed, Imagine what else they might be doing to charge up your bill. I'm also reaching out to the BBB, FTC, and other sources because there are shady tactics. People, do your research. NO FLUID IS LIFETIME. read more

BEWARE - DEALER IS NOT BBB-ACCREDITED. The Service Department led by Danny seems to be full of incompetent liars. They charged for $350 for a scan to see what my Maserati needed and I approved their recommended work. During repairs they called and said I needed new brakes, but when I informed them I had just gotten new brakes a week ago, the rep then clearly made up a bogus explanation. After getting the service I then took my car back to the place that replaced the brakes where they double-checked, and then said they couldn't understand why the Dealer told me I needed new brakes, and the Dealer's "explanation" that the brakes were installed backwards made no sense due to the way they are made. A couple days later my car failed a smog check so I called the Service Manager Danny to discuss my concerns regarding the failed smog check after being serviced, and I also told him about the service agent's recommendation for new brakes. Danny insisted my only option was to bring the car in and pay another $350 for another scan to see what my car needed, but he had no explanation about the brakes. Danny refused to do anything other than find a reason to charge me more money. After getting nowhere with Danny I called the Sales Office and asked the receptionist, Maria, who at that location could accept Service of Process. She said she didn't know what it was and transferred me to a non-working extension. I called back and told her what it was and she immediately hung up on me. I called back again and she picked-up and then hung up on me again (I imagine Caller ID tipped her off that it was me). This dealership seems to be filled with incompetent liars. I hate I even purchased my car there (that's a whole other story) and will never take my car there for service - or anything else - again. My son is in the market for a specific auto that I saw on their lot while I was there, but after my experience he will not give them his business, and I HIGHLY recommend everyone else PURCHASE A CAR ELSEWHERE because as I alluded above, my purchasing experience there was a whole other disastrous story, and certainly foreshadowed what led to my disastrous service experience. read more

I purchased my 2024 Nissan Altima back in June of 2024 from Van Nuys Maserati, Fiat Alfa Remo. I paid via check and purchased the car at a price which I thought was great deal almost at a $10K discount. Little did I know that the next few months of hell I would have to go through with this dealer. Initially I was promised the car would be detailed to get out any imperfections it took three weeks I kept going to pick my car and the manager kept lying and every time I go there to pick up the car was not done. The manager told me in order to make this up he would pay for a duplicate key and went I to see him after many phone calls I was informed that he was fired. I went to the new manger he said he would accommodate me and told me to go ahead and get the spare key and bring him the receipt and he would reimburse me. I did and I gave him the receipt for the next three weeks I kept calling he finally after getting upset with me he sent me the check. At the same time, my registration and title to car never arrived and I kept calling and talking to their DMV person at the dealer named Tracy she initially told me because of the dealer system shut down at all the dealers in CA DMV is delaying even though I bought my car prior to the system shutdown at the dealers. After my temporary registration has run out and after many phone calls to her she gave me many different stories every time and kept promising that she would send a temporary registration. I got a call last week from Manager named Ali at the dealer informing me that they have to buy my car back because the title on the car had issues and they cannot transfer the title to me. Specifically, the bought a car from another dealer that obtain title fraudulently basically selling a car to me that they did not have a title to. Keep in mind they have not shown me any proof of this. At the same time, they are not willing to buy my car at the price that is true value of the car they are not willing to put me in a car that is same value they only want buy the car back the price that I bought it for. They are telling me DMV would take my car away and I would be left with no car if I do not sell the vehicle back to them at the price I paid for it even though If I would try to sell my car if I had title to it today I could have sell it at least for $5K more. Even when I ask them to put in the similar car with the same value they are refusing. I would never buy a car at this dealer. They are going to take my car and few months later will sale it at much higher price but at the same time they are refusing to put me in similar car unless I pay the difference. Why can they do the right thing if they are the one that is at fault. I have left with no choice but to just retrieve my money back. read more

He kindly retrieve the information that I wanted from the vehicle and called me back right away. He also connected me with a salesman (Jonathan) to work with during my visit. Jonathan followed up with me the day of my appt to personally introduce himself. Upon my arrival, he was very personable. He knew a lot about Maserati and was able to explain all of the ins and outs about the vehicle which led me to deciding to move forward and make a purchase. I was then introduce to Evelyn (Finance Manager) who was also very personable and made the transaction process a breeze. She was phenomenal with explaining the contract terms and conditions. First of all i never received my license plates because the idiots at the dealership gave the DMV the wrong address, i found out since i called the DMV. Then i had to waste a whole day going to the DMV to get it fixed. The dealership also screwed me on the financing, lying about how i had to get extra warranty in order to get a better rate on the loan. Its ALL BS. Later when i had issues and tried contacting anyone at the dealership for help, they NEVER. Cared to call me back after multiple requests. I would go to another dealership. I had to put my Maserati in the shop because some rodents chewed through the gear shift cable, which caused the shifter to malfunction. I love my car - it's fun to drive and gets a lot of attention, a little expensive but whatever. While my car was getting repaired, I got a rental. My insurance only allowed $30 per day. No biggie, but the only car I could rent was a basic Nissan Sentra, and I mean basic. That didn't bother me - I just needed to get to and from work. The funniest thing is that no one paid attention to me in the Senta --seriously low key flex. In the Mozzi a woman or two will give a little glance, guys will give the thumbs up even cops have given me a shout out. Not in the Sentra. At Whole Foods - a cute Asian woman walked towards me as I was getting out of the Sentra. When we crossed paths thinking I got swag 24/7 - I said, how are you today? She threw me a look like, don't even think about it. It's all good; I had to laugh to myself. I'm back in the Mozzi. My service rep Daniel did a great job getting my car repaired as soon as possible.
