They offered me only about $800 in positive equity for my low-mileage RZ and repeatedly told us I was lucky to even have that because EVs depreciate so badly and often go "upside down." A few days later, I sold the exact same car and received over $5,000 in positive equity. The primary reason we walked out was the treatment we received from the sales manager, Jimmy Amour. Roman Syed, our salesman, had been cordial, but Jimmy was arrogant, abrupt, unfriendly, and seemed irritated that we were continuing to negotiate a deal AT a dealership. He repeatedly emphasized that their $5,000 discount was an exceptional deal nobody else would give me, used language about Roman being "like family" and therefore us being family, and then pressured us by saying the offer was only good that night and essentially that if we didn't want it, we could walk. So I walked and it was the best financial decision. Within days, Lexus of Glendale treated my family and me with patience and respect and gave me nearly $8,000 off a higher-MSRP RX 350h Premium+. They also gave me the miles and the down payment I wanted. Both factors that Keyes refused to compromise on. Combined with selling my RZ separately, walking away from Keyes saved me thousands while getting me exactly the vehicle I wanted. What disappoints me most is that I was a returning Keyes customer. I came back because my first experience had been positive. I don't expect a dealership to accept every number I ask for, but I do expect respectful treatment and straightforward information rather than being told an offer is essentially unbeatable when it clearly isn't. Disappointing and confusing sales experience. I visited Keyes Lexus on Labor Day because I was interested in a specific 2024 Lexus RX 350 Luxury with 9,517 miles. I had previously seen the vehicle advertised on August 30 for $50,963 as Lexus L/Certified. By the time of my Labor Day visit, the advertised price was approximately $52,480. I remained interested and continued communicating with the dealership. During those discussions, I was told that three accessories--PermaPlate, NETCH (Etch & Nitro), and Forever Start--costing $995 each could not be removed from the transaction. I contacted the General Manager for clarification. He responded professionally and confirmed in writing that the accessories were optional and were not required to purchase the vehicle. Based on that confirmation, I requested an updated, itemized out-the-door quote without the three optional products. I was then told that the request needed to be discussed with management. When I checked the dealership's website again, the same vehicle was advertised for $56,272. I understand that used-vehicle prices can change, and I cannot speak to the reason for this increase. However, the repeated price changes, conflicting information about the optional accessories, and difficulty obtaining a straightforward out-the-door quote made the process frustrating and caused me to lose confidence in the transaction. I was genuinely prepared to purchase the vehicle. I simply wanted clear pricing, confirmation that the vehicle would be sold as Lexus L/Certified, and the ability to decline optional products. I leased a brand new Lexus here and the salesperson, Ruman, was very proud of how many cars he sells and even showed off the Rolexes he had earned...good for him! Apparently, selling the car is where the customer service ends. Six months into my lease, I went away for six days, came home, and my brand new car wouldn't start. I contacted Ruman and was told to bring it in for service. Alejo from service department kept the car for a day and returned it. Three months later, the exact same thing happened after another six day trip. I called Ruman again, and he told me it was "normal" because his wife's car had recently done the same thing. Sorry, but a brand new Lexus not starting after sitting for six days is not something I consider normal...my 1994 Honda Civic never had this problem. I brought my car back to Alejo for a second time. Rather than actually investigating the recurring problem, I was told that because I had managed to drive the car to the dealership, "the car works." I was also warned that if I brought it back a third time, I would be charged. I asked him to put that statement in writing and told him I would be consulting a lawyer. Suddenly, the car was kept for several days and the battery was finally replaced. And now, I'm dealing with another issue which should have also been addressed by them, which wasn't. This was my first experience with Keyes Lexus and it will be my last. I found the entire experience dismissive, careless, and unnecessarily difficult. My brother and I purchased a Cybertruck and, within the second month after buying it, we went back to the dealership to cancel the extended warranty because it simply wasn't something we needed. The finance manager personally told us that he would submit the cancellation request that same day and that there would be no problems. We completed and signed all the required paperwork. That was four months ago.We have not received a single dollar of the refund. Since then, I have called the dealership at least six times. Every time I was told someone would call me back or connect me with the manager, but that never happened. I also drove back to the dealership twice trying to find the same manager who promised everything would be taken care of. He was never available, and nobody else was willing to help.What is most frustrating is that I was given a promise face to face that turned out to mean absolutely nothing. We trusted them, completed the paperwork exactly as instructed, and then were completely ignored. Four months later: No refund.No follow-up.No phone calls.No accountability. This has been the worst dealership experience I've ever had. If this is how they treat customers after the sale, imagine how they'll treat you once they already have your money. However, later on, I tried multiple times, and the self-parking feature was still nonfunctional . I called Ruman to get it fixed and taken care of with no hassle. Lexus in San Diego diagnosed that my driver mirror camera needed calibration and took them three days. Andrew and his technician diagnosed my car again, and there was nothing wrong with the driver mirror; the camera was still working. Andrew found out that my backup camera was not functioning . You could still see the camera when backing up the car, but the sensor was not working, so it wasn't braking when cars drove by closely . He replaced the new camera and recalibrated it; now the car is 100% working. I am very happy even though it took ten days to fix . Mostly, ordering parts took three to four days . But I did get my check. It took about 9 days. They said typically takes 2-3 weeks and they rushed it for me. But i would just recommend they communicate that better.
