I have bought two new cars from this Dealership in the last eight years the Sales Department is great when it comes to selling you a car. I have never written a yelp review but I would like to warn people about The Service Department and their practices. I have taken my cars there for maintenance visits for eight years, and have always witnessed unhappy customers arguing with the service staff. I guess you don't know until it happens to you?. My 2017 Jeep is still under factory warranty according to my contract it has 22,000 miles and bought it less than five years ago. I started having problems with it. The car would not start called Chrysler Roadside Assistance and they told me the car was still covered by the factory warranty and I could take it to my local Dealer's Service Department to have it repaired. A couple of days later I started receiving texts from the maintenance person in charge of my car. Mr. Armen told me that there was a $220 diagnostic fee that would apply to my bill if I had them do the repairs. A few days later Mr. Armen advised me that my car could not be diagnosed because of my aftermarket alarm system, and it would cost me $480 to have the alarm system removed before the car could be diagnosed. At this point, I realized that I was being conned. Everyone with some car knowledge knows that all you have to do is disconnect the fuse connected to the alarm to bypass the alarm system. I knew this so I had Mr. Armen continue with his scam. We kept going back and forth about the alarm system issue and told him I felt that the problem was the starter. I couldn't help being reminded of a similar situation I had from a used car dealership in Glendale many years ago. The whole experience started off shady, and in my opinion dishonest. I was really frustrated at this point, I really didn't want them to take advantage of me so I told Armen that since the car had not been diagnosed I was not obligated to pay for the $220 fee, and I would look somewhere else. He replied an hour later with the great news that his Shop Foreman was able to bypass the alarm system (Disconnect The Fuse) and found that the problem with the car was the Keyless Entry Module. Since Armen had secured his $220 diagnostic fee his attitude totally changed. Jeep does not cover the part under their factory warranty so I had to pay for it. Armed's attitude became indifferent since he knew that I was already in at least $220. I felt that I was forced to have them do the work. I told Armen to continue with the repair that all I needed was the part that he would replace for my personal viewing which he confirmed that he would hand me. Under the California Automotive Repair Act I was practicing my right not asking for a favor for the part to be given to me. I have all proof on text which will be sent to Better Business Bureau. The car was ready the next day. I ended up paying $600 for two hours of labor plus the part that had to be changed $860 total. I never got the replaced part I requested. I can't help but feel I was deceived and ripped off. I doubt that anything was done but a simple reset to the PCM I will never know since the part they claim they replaced was never given to me which is illegal. Since I got the car back my Tire Pressure Light is on which was not before the car was towed to them. I had a local shop check the tire pressure but the light remains on. I will never give them my business ever again! I have heard many horror stories of Dealer Repair Shops scamming customers, I never thought it would happen to me. I would like to encourage anyone whose car is not covered 100% by their warranty to stay the hell away from this Service Center. They will rip you off! They prey on the fact people think their car's crappy warranty will cover all parts and labor. Bringing your car here is a blank check for them! read more

I have got to leave a review for DANNY the salesman. We went in on a Sunday, and he helped us test drive the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Most of their cars are not onsite since they're limited on space. He drove us to the Sherman Oaks Galleria where there were Jeeps galore. He told us we could check out any one that we were interested in and we drove one back to the dealership. My husband really liked it, but I was concerned about the 2nd row space with 2 carseats, but it was a great looking Jeep. It was also $68K so on the pricey side, but Danny followed-up with me to see how he could help or if there were any other cars we were interested in. We think we know what car we want after a day of test driving, but wouldn't hesitate recommending Danny due to his knowledge of the cars, friendliness and overall easy-going and non-pressuring personality. I finally got a loaner vehicle because of the above and beyond efforts of the Customer Relations Manager; Michael Gonzales. Thank you Michael! He gave me his own Jeep Grand Cherokee so I could drive home with something and continued to help me and be in contact with me until they were able to secure a truck that fit my needs to temporarily replace mine. The 3 stars this place is averaging seems generous. No one answers the phones. Everyone on staff has an attitude problem and worst of all, they are dishonest. My appointment was for Wednesday at 7 am. Hector didn't check my car until the following Tuesday. It then took until Friday to get my car back. With the same exact code and symptoms for which I had left it for. Only now I am $1100 poorer. Being billed 3 hours to change spark plugs seemed excessive but I had no choice since they insisted that it would resolve the problem. I specifically explained that I had literally just replaced my spark plugs which they ignored. My car is now back in the shop after only a day, as expected. Now, After 4 days, They are recommending that "we" either open the engine for $2900(just to see if it's bad)or replace the engine for $7,000 "just to start". (From experience I can say that both of these options are overkill. Especially with out running some easier and cheaper tests first). As a business owner I hate leaving bad reviews because I know how much it can affect business. But I have been around cars and mechanics my entire life and these guys still managed to take advantage of me. read more

Really good deal for me on a car that I am very happy with. There was some give and take and my past experience with buying vehicles made a big difference for me. Having equity on my trade in also gave me an advantage in negotiations. I was there a little longer than I wanted to be, but it was worth it. I drove off the lot with a brand new White 2020 Dodge Charger GT! Here is the play by play. My lease on my 2017 Honda Accord was up. I was under mileage on it, and had the option to turn back into Honda, or see if there was equity in my vehicle and getting a car that I really wanted. I was first helped by a very courteous sales person named Fahad. He was knowledgeable but most importantly when he didn't know something he readily admitted it and would get the information I was requesting instead of bs'ing me. I test drove 2 versions of the Dodge Charger. At first, it seemed that we would not reach a deal. I was on my way out the door when a gentleman named Naz came to ask what he could do to earn my business, I gave him a quick breakdown of what I was seeking from a vehicle and my budget parameters that I wanted to stay within. Ultimately Naz made things work with a deal that was realistic and in the end, I end up saving money vs what I was paying on my previous vehicle! Buying cars is not an easy thing for anyone. Disclaimer: My belief is that businesses should always do right by the customer no matter who walks in the door. They asked me to go nice on them with the review because "they made everything right for me, and they'll be sure to treat me well in the future." They still played the BS games around financing and tried to trick me multiple times. - A much higher rate than Chrysler told me I could get on their website. They offered double at first than what they ended up giving me after I called them on it. - then they tried to get me to lease by subtly implying that I "only get the federal rebate if you lease" instead of purchase/finance (wrong!). I got a plug in hybrid. - Tried to threaten taking away the manufacturer rebate, so I had to read them the Chrysler website why the rebate is given. The product is good. The sales rep was great. Can't say the same about management and their tactics to try to get extraa $ at every turn. "Wouldn't you try to get as much money as you can in your mortgage business?" I was asked. "Nope, I do right by the customer every time." I know this isn't how all businesses are run, but I think they should be. If you go here, please go in informed, know your shit, and stand your ground. Not just for the customer service but also from the stress that I experienced just from talking to him. This person has a bad attitude towards me and is not even clear! I even wrote on the paper, and I asked again and that's what he said. I also asked how long it'll take and if i can wait again just like i did on my oil change day, he said it'll take a few hours. And i said as long as i don't have to leave my car again like god knows when im gonna get it again and go through what i'd been through the first time. So anyways, I came today and told me $499 just for battery and that they have to diagnose my car again with another fee and another charge if i need the new starter. And I asked him didn't they diagnose it the first time? And ask what are those for then? Like i just wanted to ask to know! Every diagnosis costs that much! So, i saw my car being there for 45 minutes and found out that new battery from other shops are half price from what he was charging me and they help me put the new battery with no charge! So I cancelled it since i got super stress out for like acting "pissed off" of me. I left and went to my boss shop and guess what! Turns out that my battery is fully charged and i know it only more than a year! So why they told me 5 days ago "oh you to need to need your battery!" And I don't need a new starter and the issue i was trying to ask to them is from other issue. Finding these out after waiting 4 hours from other shop is more worth it than leaving my car here and making me rent car and with this kind of service here with no courtesy to even update me about my car and always giving me different information or answers every time and acted like they didn't say it and they said different things just to make me sound that i was lying about the whole thing that made me stress out is just so wrong. Because after i asked and this person gave me the "answers" that i believed i immediately called my mom and so my mom was shocked when i told her this is VAHE told me today! Different from what he said 5days ago. So I came 3 times for this kind of customer service and it was just so awful! I talked to the lady supervisor last week and she said she went to the services to find out. But for real, please if you need service, go to figuera if you need service on a jeep. This place is gonna take your money. As a single mom, this experience and service given to me from this place caused me so much stress, wasted my time, and though they gave me a "discount" it can't be compared tk what money it costs me already for renting a car just to be patient with them to wait. But after being patient, there was no courtesy from this person to even update me on what's going on. And to those I "talked" on the phone. This place is a "NO", the GM must be sleeping, I witnessed employees doing burnouts with the new cars on test drives but that wasn't enough for me to turn around so I stayed for the rest of the fiasco, it's easy to see after talking with several sales personnel, the new cars sales team are less than candid , cost to order a 392 wrangler from Russell Westbrook was $83,525 MSRP and they were firm on that price, so I went to Rydell Chrysler Dodge jeep ram in San Fernando 20 minutes away and was sold in minutes after sitting down with a sales agent and ordered me the same Jeep for $78,673 (that's a $4,852 discount) and only $750 over invoice which I find totally fair. This dealership tried the walk away with your car key gag, as well as the double team pressure sell even know I made it clear I don't need a car, I have very specific criteria that would need to be met if I sign anything and I know the value of my current vehicle and what they can sell the one I'm interested in is. There are plenty of Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealers in the area I would suggest going to one of them. My fiancé and I randomly scheduled an appointment with Gevork at Russell Westbrook In Van Nuys off their company website's chat feature. We went in to look at what our options were and didn't really have any plans of getting anything new. Gevork was very welcoming from the start and understood what our general idea was and what we were looking for. He took us over to the lot that had the challengers and jeeps and allowed us to walk around and look at all of our options. He was very calm and supportive as we were checking multiple models. He was not pushy or aggressive as other dealer sales reps usually are. This was already a relief because purchasing a new car should not be rushed and Gevork understood that. Fast forward 7 hours later, Gevork and his team were not only able to purchase my 2018 Jeep Wrangler from me but they also got my fiancé and I the deals we wanted on our 2020 Wrangler and Challenger (picture attached). As I mentioned above, we were not ready to lease a car that day but the service provided by Gevork, it was the right decision to leave with two new cars that we both really wanted. They worked with us from the beginning and made sure we were happy with our decision. I've leased several cars before and I hate working with a dealership and rather deal with a broker but this experience was different. If you're looking for a new Dodge, Jeep or Chrysler I recommend going into the Van Nuys dealer and asking for Gevorks help. You will not be disappointed. Called them asking for service, they told me they have availability 2 months later, I told them I can't wait 2 months, went to the dealership made some noise and they told me to come on Monday. I had to rent a car because they didn't have a vehicle to give me cost me $400 and they only reimburse $40 a day which I still haven't gotten back yet. A week after getting my car back the same problem occurred again, again they said the next available appointment is in 2 months (trying to push me until the warranty is up). I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee into the shop as the sunroof would not close and was stuck wide open. I fully expected a hefty repair bill assuming the worst. Payman Arjang was my service advisor and indicated they would need to have the vehicle 3-5 days. He called me the following day and provided fantastic news. After completing the oil change and tire rotation the sunroof started working again as the tech simply tried to close it. The car gods were apparently on my side. However, the honesty of Payman and the entire crew who touched my vehicle to call me and say there was no diagnosis or repair needed. We hear so many horror stories of dishonest service providers and it is nice to know there are still honest straight shooters in the industry. Service here is not the best. Waited forever just to get to talk to someone initially for my appointment. Brought my car in for a recall. When it was done they had trouble locating it so that took forever. Was told it was in the wash and that was the reason for the long delay. Finally they "found" it and it came out unwashed. Maybe this is the norm? A few years later... never posted my earlier review. I have a new car... it came with free oil changes and tire rotations so I felt I had to come back here. Checked in on time for my 9:30 appointment. Was told it would be 1 1/2 hours, 2 hours "tops". It has now been 3 1/2!!!! In the lobby where you wait, they're blasting the worst music selection I've ever heard, and I have noise cancelling headphones on to attempt to dampen. When's the last time you heard "I'm too sexy" playing. (And that's not the worst of it). Wasn't worth the free oil change. Place is the worst. It's been a while, they still absolutely suck. There must be a different business model for dealerships, but what I'm commenting on is they're extremely horrible service. I paid for a factory warranty after the 3 year lease ($3500) for my car with only 20,000 miles and they did not put it into the system and do what was promised. These guys are a joke and will continue to sell cars, especially given the current market, but there is NO customer service whatsoever. 0 stars if I could. Hiring a lawyer if I have to. Their diagnostics took over 2 weeks just to get an appointment. I was told my jeep (a company car) would be ready for pick up by the end of the day (10.29.19) so I returned their rental, only to go to jeep service department for them to tell me the car would not be ready for another 3 hours and that someone will call me when it's ready by the end of the day. I had to waste money on Uber to get home at this point because I did not have 3 hours to sit around... and it's good thing I didn't because no one ever called me and I called to get an update with no response from anyone! No one answers the phone at the service department. It's impossible to get updates. This morning I finally got a hold of my service adviser who told me the car was suppose to be ready today (10.30.19) at 3:00 pm. I have been trying to verify if it's ready for the last hour with no response from anyone at the service department. I don't want to waste another 60 dollars on Uber only to find out it won't be ready again today. I'm generally a patient and understanding person but again, this is a company car and I'm responsible to provide updates on when the car will be ready. Their lack of response and disregard for keeping their word or schedule falls on me and reflects poorly on my work performance. I don't even know what to relay to my company at this point because I have no updates, and the few updates I've gotten from them have not been met. What a joke! Currently been on hold for 20 minutes after calling multiple times. I had to call the sales department because no one answers at service. Several issues with Service department here. 1. I brought it in for an oil change and a couple of days later I turn in my car find a pool of oil on our driveway... I get the vehicle towed to Russel Westbrook since I didn't know what the issue was, I get a call a couple of days later and I'm told the oil filter was loose. THIS should have been my final visit here but I try to stay loyal to where I get my vehicles. 2. In mid July I took my vehicle in to get the door panels and radio replaced under warranty. A couple of weeks later I'm told to pick it up by Eddie, the door panels were fixed but the radio wasn't due to shortage and to come back when it's in stock... I say fine it's no big deal. I keep calling every other week to follow up when it's in stock. 2 weeks ago I speak to parts and service and they both confirm the part is in stock and we set up another appointment for today, mid September. I show up to drop off the vehicle and I'm told they do not have the part and they have to order and wait another week. I ask to leave the vehicle since I don't want to be going back and forth... the radio does not work at all and it's our weekend car, I'm told no bc it is a liability for them. OMG- I have been buying cars for over 38 years and have never met bigger bunch of sleazy used car sales types. Except the guy that actually sold me the car, Jorge, he was a good egg, no complaints on him. The rest of the crew, steer clear. Especially the fist bumping Jersey shore dude. I was drawn to this dealership by an ad for a Jeep Grand Cherokee that had the trim pack I wanted and low miles for a 2018 16K. Not bad right? good price comparatively. I thought it would be worth the drive to the valley. So I call and they tell me that the car is indeed there, so I drive out to Van Nuys to see it from Long Beach. Half way up there I get a call from them telling me that the car is sold. Which turned out to be bullshit, I found out later. So I go anyway, thinking I get some stroke for them fucking with me, but no. They throw 3 sales guys at me, and I test drive a bunch of other Jeep Grand Cherokees, none of which fit what I was seeking. So the third salesman, Jorge actually looks up and sees that the vehicle is actually in their lot after all, it just has a dead battery. So they charge it up, and we test drive it, its driving nice, I decide to buy it. So 5 hours later after all the paperwork, they give me the car and the AC doesnt work also the stereo system is like 1 speaker working on the drive home. So I get home and call them, they immediately dispatch someone to bring me a loaner and pick up the vehicle for a check through. Mind you this car is supposed to be a certified Pre-owned vehicle, checked through with a 140 point inspection. (Bullshit) So they take it back leaving me with a 2018 Range Rover Velar, not too shabby, okay they are at least trying to make me happy. So I pick up the car, days later, with my wife and son, all seems to be running fine, we are in the carpool lane of the 405 southbound by Culver/Washington and the car just dies in stop and go traffic. Your worst nightmare in the carpool lane. CHP rolls up and has too create a traffic break, and push bar us off to the side. No power in the car,, we have to engage some emergency transmission release so we can even move the car. Meanwhile my wife is fucking pissed-off that I picked this car in the first place, my son is not too happy either. We call the dealer and request help, they come get us and take us home after a 2 hr wait. We call and undo our purchase, the dealership agrees. Then I'm told that my down payment will take up to 8 days to recieve. Okay, whatever. Now its been 16 days and the check is supoosedly in the mail on Wednesday and todays Friday. No check. I will try to be as much straight to the point as I can so no one would fall for their lies, I have leased an R/T two years ago from them, i was naive, I did a trade in for a brand new V6, and sorry to say the word but i have to, they stole 4 k from me cause i was positive on that car and they didnt tell me, I had it only for 4 months. They hire the most unworthy salesmen, I do get they want to make a sale but not to the point to make out lies of the engine power, torque and the car ability of the R/T to just make a sale, that is against work ethics, in fact they shouldn't operating the business till they hire honest people and investigate all the fraud work they do, the problem is not here, I went to place an order of a hellcat last month, and I was sure on the phone they can place an order for me, they did confirm. After placing the order they, sadly they called after three days saying that the wide body is not available, what a shame and waste of time. The refund of my deposit took 4 weeks, and the problem is not here. I have changed my mind completely on buying a muscle car, just two weeks ago I went to the mercedes and I chose a car to purchase, In able to trade in my R/T I will need to know the exact pay off to complete the trade in value and purchase the new mercedes . I called them and spoke to finance, guess what ? They weren't able, actually they didn't want me to buy a car not from them, they didn't give me the payoff amount, like a mob in the 70's, the finance manager literally said on the phone "you gonna buy a car not from us" like what the actual fuck ? We laughed me and the mercedes salesman, I couldn't believe its true, I was trying to get his name but he didn't reveal it. Luckily someone at the mercedes his aunt is a finance manager at dodge, In minutes I was able to know the pay off, happy I didn't do business with them again. Very shameful. Dealers like this has to be sued, If you wanna get a car specially from crappy dealers like this do your deep investigation, they suppose to be there to help people and make things easy for them. Wanted to Upgrade my car paid my refundable deposit to them for process order new car. Manager said " if u change ur mind or anything else u will get ur refund with no problem anytime" IT IS PROBLEM! When they said they don't have that car I ordered available, i was okay to cancel order and get my money back - which I did in January! And now is MARCH. Still no money back. Also called them and talk with bunch of useless people there. Beginning from manager CHRIS, his financial supervisor SELENA, and financial manager OLIE. Russell Westbrook, instead of honoring what was in my lease contract to provide a loaner vehicle when my car as in the shop for warranty-covered repairs, forced me to rent a car using my credit card with the understanding that they would reimburse me upon completion of the repairs. I submitted my paperwork on September 1, 2021 to the service manager's email address that was printed on his business card. Two and a half weeks went by; I hadn't received anything. I happened to go into the service department for an unrelated issue, and I inquired about the reimbursement check. He said he was surprised that he hadn't received the invoices; he thought I had forgotten. Mind you, I had been asking for a reimbursement since July 21st. HOW COULD HE POSSIBLY THINK I HAD FORGOTTEN ALMOST $2000?!?!?! And come to find out, his printed email address on his business card IS INCORRECT. That's why he hadn't received the invoices I sent on September 1st. Fast forward to October 1,2021, and I still have no reimbursement check. Hector claimed he was going to get it expedited. Nothing doing! I have texted and called over the past 2 weeks to no avail. And I'm now in the position of paying my credit card out of pocket for $1500+ or get a bad mark on my credit report for no payment. I've called Chrysler Capital, and they had the audacity to tell me I should have submitted some report about which I was never informed. And all this for a repair that I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE. Had an air conditioner component go out (loud hiss when turned on). Took it here because of warranty. The service advisor Eddy said it would take two days and I would have it back. Two days later I called (I had to call every time because they do not call you at this location) and was told it would be another two days. Another two days later I called back and was told they received a faulty part and would need a few more days to replace the part. Ok, at this point it was getting ridiculous - 1) because it was taking forever and 2) because of the lack of communication from their end. The new date it was supposed to be completed I was told they needed two more days because the tech had other cars in line.... FINALLY the day comes to pick up the vehicle and I decide to turn on the radio and for some reason all the stations turned to static when it worked perfectly before. Take your vehicle elsewhere for warranty work, you've been warned. read more

Very disappointing series of engagements with this dealership. After walking out on day 1 following what can only be described as aggressive negotiations from the sales team for me to buy unnecessary add ons as if they Have to come with the car very much out me off...... I was called by Selena as I was leaving (as they saw my sale driving off) who then agreed to wipe the unnecessary add ons off the overall price, which made me think, why did I have to go through a few hours of being messed around when I made it clear I wanted the car as the sticker described and priced it- nothing more, nothing less. I ended up arranging the transaction over the phone with Selena to avoid any further tedious engagement with the sales team and came back the next day and bought the car. The car had 45 miles on it and the was owned by the dealership previously so was essentially a new car. The final kicker that they just couldn't resist giving me was to only had over a single key after I had completed the purchase. This was a cheap and unnecessary move as we all know new cars come with two keys and especially dealer owned cars should follow that principle. Of course, I was told I'm welcome to buy the key from them but I will make every effort to avoid having anything to do with this dealership now. Why lose my business that would have included warranty purchase and lifelong servicing for a key that should have come with the car. That's what you get when dealing with petty unprofessional places like this. Avoid at all costs unless you want to engage with childish, aggressive and unprofessional staff who are vindictive in their behavior if you stand your ground. Appalling!!! read more

I had a very good experience at this dealership. Like with everything, realistic expectations and doing your homework about such a big ticket item will get good results. Vinnie Fasano was my excellent salesperson. He was patient and there was no pressure to buy the low milage Kia Seltos EX I found through CarGurus. I had looked at an identical car, but with a lot more milage and priced much higher, (MUCH HIGHER) at a Kia dealership. Also, Van Nuys CDJR gave me a fair price for my trade in, double what Kia offered. Again, if you do your homework you'll know what a fair price is for a trade in and the selection you're purchasing. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that when I got the car home I found one of the wheel liners was missing, something that you would not notice just looking at the car, but only looking underneath. I felt that should have been noticed when the dealership inspected the car. However, Adan in the parts department took great care of me and got the part and had it installed PDQ. DO NOT GO HERE. they're complete dirtbags. They'll close you at one payment and come out and tell you they got you a slightly lower rate and have you sign the second pencil with a lower payment. They'll then sign everything on the docu pad in finance and it'll all look correct. BUT they'll switch it afterwards to the original payment they closed you at and add back and products like key and dent protection without you knowing. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR CONTRACT AFTERWARDS.
