I didn't think I'd find one in Arizona, but lo and behold... SummerWinds Nursery had it! The tree was healthy, vibrant, and honestly felt like a little miracle. In Filipino culture, calamansi is considered lucky. People plant it to attract abundance, place coins and grains at the base for prosperity, and use its juice in cleansing rituals. My mom was over the moon when I bought her one. The staff at SummerWinds were super helpful and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their plants and their customers. The nursery itself is beautiful--peaceful, well-organized, and full of unique finds. Prices were reasonable. You can also get rewards here if you return again. Great value! Special thanks to Quinn for helping us load the tree to my car. If you're looking for something special or just want to be surrounded by plant magic, this place is worth the visit. Grateful we found it!

They have a great selection of all kinds of trees as well as fruit trees. I wanted one lemon tree, one orange tree, one peach tree and one plum tree. Jason explained all the different varieties of each. I chose a Meyer lemon tree, one Cara Cara orange tree, one Desert Gold peach tree and one Santa Rosa plum tree. I also spoke with Barb about the care of all the trees, she took the time to give me detailed care explanations on each tree. That really help and she really knows a lot about plants and trees. The crew that delivered and planted the trees were very prompt, skilled and polite. I am very pleased with my whole experience with Whitfill nursery. From the price of the trees to the level of customer service I received. Everyone I interacted with from the time I walked onto the their property to the delivery and the planting of the trees are wonderful. Thank you! Whitfill Nursery.

I shouldn't need to walk all the way back up front to ask -- and I've been giving the wrong information before anyhow. Its important to know what kind of plant you're buying for multiple reasons. The other Whitfill location (off Guadalupe and Cooper) doesn't have this issue. Overall I think the plants are pretty healthy but after having an issue with lack of labeling (on both the kind of plant and pricing), having been given the wrong plant info on a plant, and after having asked if they had Pink Fairy Duster and being sent off in a direction to wander and never find it on my own, I'm really over this location.

Last year my family and I got our Christmas tree from Valley View Christmas Trees in Chandler. I…read moredon't suppose we realized that there was a closer location or maybe it didn't exist in Gilbert last year. This year we went to Valley View Christmas Trees in Gilbert. I looked at their website and nobody answered the phone so I emailed the email address provided on the website and over the phone. They emailed me a few days later letting me know that they got their Christmas trees in I believe the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I responded and let them know that we would be there the Friday after Thanksgiving. Upon arrival and to our pleasant surprise, there were no other cars except for ours. It was for sure open and we had the whole Christmas tree stand to ourselves. We took a few photos with the blowup Santa out front. This location was much smaller than the location in Chandler. Last year, Valley View in Chandler had a big sleigh and several different photo opportunities. This one was small but still very convenient. The people working there were so lovely. They were so kind and helpful and eager to assist us. We also had our nine-month-old son with us and it was his first time picking out a Christmas tree. They said this was a big deal so they needed to take family photos of us! We took a bunch. We found a tree pretty easily and within minutes, they assisted us. They drilled a little bit deeper, put the tree on top of our car with tweed, (you can ask for a net for $5 extra) and within 20 minutes we were proud owners of a new Christmas tree. We also got a disposable tree skirt and also tree cleaner. Altogether we paid $160 which is a deal. We got a bigger tree than last year and it was less expensive. Overall, I loved this experience. It was easy, convenient, and I really appreciated the extra bit of customer care that we received. It's not often that you get such great quality customer service so I must recognize that. Next year we're definitely coming back to this location. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a new Christmas tree. They also give a full refund if the tree doesn't last which is a huge bonus!
