I love going to Home Goods to see what treasures I can find. Most recently I got some practical Halloween items for my house. I enjoy looking at the plates and napkins and kitchen hand towels and the selection this year didn't disappoint. I also got 3 amazing blankets to complete my collection. The one downside of Home Goods shopping are the extremely long lines. This location is usually pretty good with helping provide ample staffing for a good customer service experience, which I love. I also like the value of the items which are usually priced well. read more

I was at the Homegoods on Tatum in Phoenix today when I felt faint. I've shopp this store for years because of the great finds there. I sat down and soon a young woman came to me, she brought me a soda , crackers, and chocplate. She left but returned to check on me. Did ya know that HomeGoods sells more than awesome trinkets for your home? This is one of my favorite places to go to purchase spices. I recently started buying Flavor God seasoning once I realized that most of the spices in my cabinet either didn't list the ingredients or they had a ton of unhealthy additives. I've been purchasing these for a while because not only are they flavorful, they also have ingredients that I can actually pronounce. If you're a coffee drinker, they also seek k-cups. We like the Starbucks brand but have tried a few others as well. You can typically get a box of 10 for $6. Score!! Happy hunting read more

I think this store needs a new name! HomeGenius is what I would call it but then that would have people think IT I guess - but let's talk why... I walked in here for a set of 4 wine glasses and left with 2 sets (white and red) $4-6.99 each (regularly $12-19.99 each), found tons of super soft towels for the bathroom (those should always be refreshed but whoever wants to have to buy those full priced?), huge supply of kitchenware- Breville Smart Pro oven!! $249-349 regularly - here $149.99- see... HomeGenius... then the toys for kids - half the price, rugs, furniture and finally dog toys- good gracious how do I say no to that little face? And they are $3-5 each vs $12-15 regularly. I love browsing through HomeGoods stores. There's always some fun item or unique item that I haven't really seen before. Prices for items here really vary in terms of discount off the retail price. There were some heavily discounted items here while others were only slightly discounted. One item I saw was discounted a whole penny off retail price (Woohoo!) This HomeGoods was great in that they had some pretty good brands for sale. I saw merchandise from Le Creuset, and in terms of fashion I saw some decorating items from Vera Wang and Cynthia Rowley. The pet section is pretty extensive with lots of toys, beds and treats to choose from. We had no problems at check out and service was friendly. read more

I shop at Home Goods and TJ Maxx ALL the time. However this location has the nastiest, most unprofessional, staff I have ever encountered. In Chandler and Gilbert the staff are pleasant and courteous... But this location at the Foothills needs to fire their staff and hire new people. I could not believe their attitudes, their entitled and snobby interaction and their constant argumentative and confrontational ways. Is this the best you can hire in Ahwatukee? Try again. Seriously, I am in love with HomeGoods and I'm going to tell you why you should be to! HomeGoods is a company that specializes in home decor which ranges from rugs all the way to fun mugs you might buy to only realize you already own 30 mugs. This is one of my favorite locations because its near my house, is extremely clean and they are always changing the store around to keep me on my toes. Generally they receive new shipments every week so you never know what they are going to get. HomeGoods is known for their home decor but let me tell you some things you can buy there that you had no idea existed: They have an entire section dedicated to pets. When I say dedicated to pets, I mean they have pet beds, pet clothes, toys and any cute decor that would let you know that your pet is your whole world. When buying pet beds, this is the place because they are marked down from their expensive competitors and oftentimes they have brand names. Around some of the holidays they carry special items from halloween costumes for children and pets to specialty foods. The food section is a lot of fun because they get some amazing high quality items for a fraction of the price. We bought some nice spiced olive oil from there and everyone kept asking what we mixed to make the dip. There are fun pastas, sauces and even sweets. For a fun holiday gift, buy a few cute items from HomeGoods, wrap it up in a basket and they would love it! The only downfall of HomeGoods is you never know what their inventory will be, they don't know either but it makes it half the fun. I'm still looking for a specific item but every store sold out. If you see it, buy because the next time you come in, it might already be gone. I've always had good service at this location and love the free plentiful parking lot. Just beware of spending your whole paycheck here buying adorable mugs that you have no room for. Happy shopping! read more

This place has everything you need for your home, period. I was looking for a few pieces to put on the ceiling rafters to decorate my place, and ended up with a few pictures for the walls, and Christmas decorations including a few decorations for the tree. I would call this place a Pier 1 Imports on steroids. This place will give you decorating ideas you wouldn't think about yourself, and at prices that are on par to any other decorating store in the area. As you can see from my picture, there are usually lines outside the front door when it opens on the weekends. HomeGoods is one of my favorite stores. They have so many good things to choose from one could easily go broke in there! I was excited to get the newest HomeGoods in Ahwatukee because this makes 3 stores in the East Valley (the other two in Gilbert & S. Chandler) for store hopping :) This location is pretty similar to the standard HomeGoods store. This not a joint HomeGoods and TJMaxx or Marshalls location unfortunately BUT there is a Marshalls across the street. This location is 1 block west of the Ray Road exit off the I10 freeway for easy access. The only negative with this particular location might be that it's right next to the AMC movie theater which is packed on weekends so parking might be challenging during certain times. Overall great store and because it just opened today it's stacked to the rim with goodies which if you are a loyal shopper you already know that things don't last long in these stores. read more

I'm obsessed with this store! Really cute and affordable home decor and you can also find good deals on baby stuff too. The staff is always friendly and the place is always clean. Ive been super into Rae Dunn pottery and this store is one of the few places you can find good deals at. I went to this location today with my 2 kids (2.5y.o. and 4m.o.). We recently moved from San Diego and I wanted to spruce up the new place. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of stuff but was very let down by the employees. Not a single employee asked if we needed help or offered to help me out to the car; my cart was full,like to the brim, my 2.5y.o. started having a melt down and needed to be carried while my 4m.o. was in a carrier-a mess! So, generally I am asked if I would like help but not here. The employees just looked at me and rushed me through the line-there was 1 person waiting...Great selection, crummy customer service. There was one lady that came running out giving me my keys and a bag the cashier didn't give to me. I appreciated her help greatly-everyone else...not at all! read more
