This is the second time we have asked for the help of PV rugs for cleaning services. The first was on a smaller entryway rug that our new puppy tinkled on. They were here in a day to pick it up and when returned it was perfect, without a trace of issue. This time we asked them to clean all 8 of our rugs. I spoke with one of johnny's sons who couldn't have been more accommodating. Johnny came to get them with one of his helpers and was kind enough to explain the origin of each rug, which was educational. They promised them back in 2-21/2 weeks, but much to our surprise they were finished in less than half that time. We didn't expect to see much difference in them, but were almost shocked to find them returned much more vibrant. Johnny and his helper took the time to place them back just as found, moving coffee tables back into place just exactly in perfect position. The price was incredibly reasonable, and the service was better than one could have hoped for. All we can say is Thank you to the PV Rugs family for everything that you did for us. I took an authentic Persian Rug in that needed to be cleaned & after one cleaning they weren't able to get the rug as clean as I expected. It was a white transitional rug so I understand you can't get out all the discoloration but they removed about 50% of the "dirty look". I even asked if multiple cleanings would help and would pay for it but they seemed reluctant to promise any more so I'm taking my other rugs somewhere else who is willing to try and do what it takes to get the rug into better condition. I recently (4 months ago) purchased 2 rugs from PV rugs (actually 4 over 15 years). Unfortunately, I was never told what the rug was made of and how to clean it. They disagree but this is he said she said. However, I have nothing in writing. In fact my receipt or the rug label does not disclose the fabric. I had an issue with my dog and a stain. These people Do NOT clean rugs. They drive the rugs across town to another company. This company charges P.V.Rugs say 50 to 100 dollars to clean the rug. P.V. Rugs then adds as much as 100 per cent to that fee so the rug cleaning customer is paying P.V. Rugs 50 or more dollars just to drive their rugs across town and back. They did an AMAZING job on two, very large area rugs. I had no expectations for one of them since it laid under my kitchen table for over a decade. I had it cleaned when carpet cleaners came to the house, but some areas were just too stained to ever get cleaned. The outcome was stellar. They even repaired a couple of small well-worn spots. I have 2 retired greyhounds who until they were completely House trained, decided the place to pee was on my $900 Restoration Hardware rug. I compounded the problem by treating the stains with a product that changed the color of the rug. I held out little hope that the rug would ever look new again. Purchased a fabric protector from their display at the fair in Phoenix and was thoroughly disappointed. Not only were the fumes from this spray highly irritating, the product simply did not work. When I spoke with Bob about a return, he made sure I used it according to instructions. I did. Then he suggested the fabric wasn't 'natural'. After reading him the cited fabrics on the can, he said I could return it for a refund. The manager had him call me back to say they don't refund so I am just out the money.
