I took carpet into have rugs made, the paperwork was slightly confusing and they were made incorrectly... after 3 tries abcs as many trips I FINALLY got rugs pieced back together into what I originally wanted... this was a process to say the least and I'm certain they are as glad to be done with me as I am with them. I've had Jeff, the owner, come twice to stretch my carpets. They still look tight, and I am pleased with the results. I was able to negotiate with him regarding the price and it was reasonable. Just this week I had Richard, one of their installers, come to replace the carpet on my stairway. Jeff, the owner, was able to match my living room carpet pretty closely, but the quality of the carpet was far superior. I also requested 8 lb. padding. Richard took off the old carpet, replaced the tack boards and even rolled the new carpet around the curve of the steps, which took a lot more time. He was meticulous with his work, and it shows. The stairs feel plush, and the installation was perfection. I couldn't be more pleased with the end results. I shouldn't have any more carpet issues for a very long time. read more

Well I found a hidden gem in downtown Phoenix who will take those left over pieces of new carpet you paid for so you don't send it away and "bind the edges" of the new carpet for fractions of the cost!! The nicest ladies ever, met my husband and I by appt 9am Saturday morning to drop off & pick up, and before we knew it we had a 10x16 area rug, of brand new left over carpet from our install for my parents for less than you would EVER find a rug of that size! They color matched, rolled it up in Saran Wrap for safe packing - it's perfect!! They even did a small piece for us for our laundry room doorway for free. Absolutely the BEST! I made the mistake of ordering carpet from Home Depot, they got the order wrong and delivered uncut/unbound carpet (after 8 days). Found Jonathan and McFarlands Custom Carpet online - and so happy we did! We were able to roll up and Jonathan got the carpet out and made sure what we wanted and then they immediately went to work! So fast, so professional, really did a great job. Binding was impressive to watch and she (I didn't get her name) even fixed a hole that was in it from Home Depot. We asked if they had anything close to that carpet to make three 10ft. runners...matched it almost perfectly and made us three beautiful runners! They really made my day, so much better than dealing with a box store. I will never get carpet from anywhere else again! Oh, and we were out of there in LESS than an hour.
