Friday afternoon, 2:30 pm, I'm looking to get my oil changed on my 2015 Prius. I find these guys on Yelp and the reviews catch my eye because pretty much they all rave about honesty. So, I call these guys and someone answers, nice and friendly and answers my questions and gives me all my options for my oil change including cost savings options. I appreciated that, but went with their recommendation of full synthetic for my car. I show up, hand them my car, head inside, have the chance to eat a few pieces of candy they have (LOVE Hi-chews) and before I even know it, one of the guys come in to give me back my car keys! 15 minutes top from start to finish. When I'm checking out, the guy is very nice and conversational and I find out it is 2 brothers that own and run the place. Love it even more, small business who cares about what they do and their customers. Great job all around, because you just gained another customer in me. Easy 5 star recommendation!! read more

Tried VQL for the first time this week and had a great experience. These guys are quick and know their stuff. Was in and out in about 20 minutes on a Monday afternoon. They're honest and aren't out to get you on the upsell - they will take care of the oil change, give the other fluids and the tires a check and tell it like it is. Their prices are fair as well. This place saved my life today! I was coming home from work and got a burnt front headlight and my right headlight was super dim right before sunset. Worried that my commute was still 30 mins longer and not having any headlights i got super paranoid, and was overdue for an oil change as well. Looked this place up in tracy and took in my vehicle. Not only did they do a oil change in just about 20 minutes, but got the burnt headlight changed in that time as well. Shocked how amazing the service was at this place after years of being frustrated with a lot of auto shops. Super friendly people as well. I just felt bad that i didnt leave a tip, i completely forgot about it and didnt think about it until i was already on the freeway. I needed to get an oil and filter change on my 2001 corvette and I am new to the tracy area so I looked on line and everyone knows how some oil change places are not completely honest and that is what I wanted to avoid. So after some research I saw that Valley quick lube had some great reviews so I drove down there and this is my experience: As soon as i drove up there was an employee in the waiting area to greet me and gave me a quote which was better then Jiffy Lube so I said how long and he said we have 1 car ahead of you shouldn't be too long so I gave him the keys and had a seat in the nice waiting area. This place is a gem! The customer service is beyond great... I was greeted by everyone and everybody was really kind and poLite. I waited 20 min for my turn to come and it took a total of 20-30 min for my oil change. They checked through all of my fluids and tire pressures as well. II had 2 oil changes before and not one of them mentioned anything about the missing brake fluid capbut here they did. They were even nIce enough to see if NaPa had one so they'd go and pick it up. Also, he mentioned that my air filter was really dirty and if I wanted to replace it and i told him that I already had one at home and he was nice enough to offer me to bring in my filter so he can replace it for me. Updating my 5 star review to 1 start review due that my car started to leak oil and I brought it to the mechanic to find out that when the oil change was done here the screw had been stripped and their clever solution was to put Sillicon on it to avoid a problem that I'm having now, Instead of notify me that the screw had been stripped I could have paid $9 for a news screw. read more

I went to Valley Quick Lube this morning and could not be more pleased. I was greeted by Ben and told him I needed an oil change. He explained to me the cost and time it would take which was less than 30 minutes. After pulling my truck into the bay, Ben came to and asked if I knew that the check engine light was on, and I explained to him it went on this morning. He than said after we change your oil I'll run a check on it and let you know what's causing it. Sure enough in less than 30 minutes I got my oil changed and found out the cause of the check engine light was. He didn't charge me for the diagnosis of the check engine light (That's about $170 at the dealership) and thanked me for my business. Who does that nowadays???? Come to find out Ben and his brother are the owners and are just a couple of local guys that are clean cut, well spoken, and know how to run a business. This is my new spot for oil changes! The service was impeccable, these guys are great. Super fast and knowledgeable. I brought my old 99' Alero here for an oil change at 7:00 am sharp and let me tell you, the fact that they open so early on Saturday was why I chose to bring my car here. I'm glad I did, with my car being so old the sensors are sensitive and after I had service at another place here in town, one of sensors had been on without there being an issue. I brought it back to that place and asked if they could turn it off, the guy tells me it wouldn't be worth it to turn it off because they would have to remove my tire to do so (blank stare)... Well upon finishing up my service here at VQL they turned off that sensor with no issue at all, and I didn't even ask them to do so.
