I'm extremely disappointed with my service today, Saturday, November 27, 2021. To prepare for my appointment today, last night I drove to a gas station and put air in all four of my tires. One of my tires had a 16 PSI. I filled the tire to 36 PSI last night. Roughly 20 minutes before my appointment, my low tire pressure notification lit up on my dashboard again. I drove to a gas station to blow air in my tires and the same tire was back at a 16 PSI. All of the other tires dropped by one or two PSI overnight. I explained to the person who serviced my vehicle, before I sat in the waiting area, that I just put air in the tire and it should be at or close to 36 PSI but has been getting extremely low. I told him to replace the tire if need be because I don't want to keep dealing with this issue. I have to put air in this tire almost every single day. At checkout, he told me they could not find a leak in the tire and the low tire pressure is most likely due to the cold weather. I don't understand how all four of my tires were out in the cold last night but only one dropped by 20 PSI. I don't believe they actually inspected my tire. I only have 15,000 miles on my car and tires. I'm aggravated because I know tomorrow when I go to start my car, I will have another low tire pressure notification on my dashboard. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. My car has been intermittently having electric issues where the entire inside of the car dies including my radio, dash, windows and locks. It's not safe to drive and will do this randomly. I attempted calling several times to make an appt and tried online with no response ever. I ended up having to drive over and make an appt in person at which they told me their phones "weren't working." They were booked all week so I had to wait another week for my appt. I drop my car off and am told a scan will be run which will take 1 day and cost me $150. They said they will call me when it's ready. 2 days later I have received no calls or messages from anyone. I have called multiple times and left multiple messages with my name and number to which I only receive voicemail. I finally call another department and ask if they can help. They tell me my service manager has left for the day (it's 1pm and they're supposed to be open until 6pm) and that my car is still in progress. On the third day my service manager finally answers the phone, says that nothing is showing up on the scan related to electric but they will keep trying. He also tries to tell us again that the phones are "broken". He also says that the scan had brought up a few codes but unrelated to anything electric. On the fourth day, one of my other family members received a call (no idea how they got the number). It's just the cashier saying "come pick up your car." No info, no explanation for anything. I go to pick up my car, to which my service provider tries to tell me he called, texted and left me a voicemail explaining they found no issues. I tell him I received nothing but I called him multiple times and he never responded. I'm handed my keys and as I attempt to pay, I'm told that I owe nothing. Thinking this odd, I take my receipt and go to find my car. They end up actually giving me THE WRONG parking spot and I have to hunt for my car myself. Now I'm looking at the receipt and I'm noticing nowhere on the paper does it say ANYTHING about a scan. They never scanned my car. For 4 days they did who knows what and never did what they told me or what I requested be done. It also says NOTHING about the codes he mentioned showing up. At this point I'm assuming they wasted my time for 4 days or they are so poorly run that they confused my car with the other car they attempted to give me when I picked up and he was talking about codes from that car which is the same make and model as mine but has very noticeable differences. Either way, the worst run department I've ever experienced. Prior to this I have never had any issues. I don't know if they have hired different people or managers or what but DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. read more

I bought my 2014 focus here last year and could not have asked for a better experience. I had very specific search criteria online, and the best result showed up at Jim Keim Ford. Since I knew exactly what I wanted, I was prepared to fight off any sales pitches that you expect from a car lot, and was surprised when I got none of it. What I did get were the keys to test drive, and then when we pulled back in to the lot he gave my husband and I privacy to talk. Not pushy at all. And the actual purchase process was just as easy. I don't live near Hilliard, but because I had such a great experience with purchasing my car, I took it there for servicing. It was easy to schedule an appointment online, and they have reasonable hours to do so (not many places are open until 9:00!. The service department is just as great as the sales floor. Very friendly, and also not pushy in up selling anything that you're not asking for. Prices seem reasonable, considering I know nothing about the going rate of an oil change and check up ($39.99) ... Seems right? And a free car wash! Only downside for me again is that I do not live close, so to get to the location is a pain. Even so, I will definitely be returning the next time a service is needed! read more

Have been briniging my wife's Mustang for service here for a number of years. At my recent 150K mile oil change, they noted the car didn't need ANYTHING extra! First time a dealer has not tried to sell me something additional. Customer Service guy Travis Nukes is by far the BEST I have run across in over 40 years of car service. Courteous, knowwlegeable and efficient. read more

Salesperson lied about the features available on a used car I recently purchased from Roush. I believed it was just a matter of downloading software on the control unit, which was why I couldn't see it available. I called the manufacturer and they told me the dealer, in fact had lied, my vehicle isn't capable of the features they told me were in my car. I based this $1000 feature on the cost of the vehicle. I guess I shouldn't have taken 'their word' for it. Buyer beware. Make them show you every feature they claim is available in the car, or have them put it in writing. My fault for not having it in writing and believing a car salesman at his word. read more

I know I've already reviewed them once... But we just bought another car from Jim Keim. Our sales guy from the last purchase, Eric. wasn't in, so Randy and Bob took care of us. Both were stand up guys! They knew everything about the cars we looked at, and Randy even spent a good bit of his time finding us a car on the lot that had a little more off the sticker.... And it was the exactly same car as the one we wanted. Bob searched and searched for additional incentives for us too when we sat down at his desk. That's how you're supposed to sell a car! We are satisfied, repeat customers. I recommend these guys to EVERYONE looking for a new or used car. read more

I honestly didn't spend a lot of time on this. I was only casually looking - the old car was close to falling apart, but I still had some time - and happened to find a good deal on a used car on their web site. It was Sunday, so they weren't open, but we were still able to go over and look at the car on the lot. I felt pretty good about it, but couldn't get away from work the next day. I emailed them and they said it was OK to send my parents over for a test drive the next morning. My parents went over first thing Monday morning, and loved the car. I was able to fill out the paperwork online, and they had everything ready when I got off work. They let me take a test drive, and when I'd made my decision, all the forms were ready to sign. I've been driving it for a week and nothing has gone wrong so far. I can't really believe how easy it was! read more

In November 2015 I ordered a Focus RS. The car was due for release in spring 2016, but I knew that it was going to be difficult to get hold of so I ordered very early. List price around $35k. This week, six months after ordering I was called by one of their sales people and told that 'management' had decided to sell the car at $15k over the msrp. A decision that Jim Keim could have made when we were considering ordering the RS, thereby allowing us to choose another car. The implication of this is that this dealership may arbitrarily decide to try and price gouge the customer after an order has been placed. The dealership can't be trusted. Go somewhere else. read more

It took a total of 2 trips and having my car in the shop for 10 days for a minor repair. I was given a loaner for the 10 days my car was in the shop. I will give 5 stars for that. It was a very tiring experience. All I wanted was a little customer service. read more

I was in town for the weekend traveling from 1,300 miles away. Wouldn't you know it, the check-engine light comes on. I stopped in on Saturday morning with no appointment to ask if they could help me. The service manager said he could make no promises, but would do what he could. Around 3p that afternoon, I got a phone call saying not only did they find and fix the error, but it would be at no cost. Turns out there was a TSB (tech service bulletin? I don't know) and was a known issue with my car. Also, knowing I would be headed out on the road again a day or two later, they did a quick check to ensure nothing else was wrong--again at no charge. Looks like I will be driving to Columbus whenever I need service! ;) read more

I came to Jim Keim Ford looking for a truck specialist. I had visited two other dealerships and got enthusiastic, however undereducated on trucks salesmen. I walked in here and asked for the Truck guy. A few sales men were standing at the entrance and they all pointed to Bobby. I spent two hours with Bobby picking his brain and asking detailed questions about configuration and specifications of the different trim levels not just the basics like tow capacity and payload. He answered them all and printed out the specs. Highlighting what best fit my needs. Bobby was very polite, extra moly knowledgable and I bought my new truck from him. I am very happy with my truck, and appreciative that Bobby has continued to help me with after market and Ford accessories for my Truck. The finance department also was awesome, they had the paperwork ready to go and worked to get me the best deal for me, I did not have to haggle over the interest rate, I got what my credit monitoring said I qualified for without a hassle. He was also very honest and steamed me away from post sales things I didn't need, while providing the info I needed for the items I did need. I would defiantly recommend driving to come here, I drove two hours and past a few Ford dealerships to come to this one. If your looking for a Truck ask for Bobby. read more

I was incredibly happy with the smooth, low pressure, professional buying experience with Derek Weekley and Ken Peltz at Jim Keim Ford. I did quite a bit of research online before I bought my Ford Focus, and they had the one I was interested in out front and ready when I arrived. After agreeing on a great price, Ken was able to find a much better financing package than I thought I would qualify for. On April 26, 2021 I took my 2017 mustang to Rousch Ford to have a tire pressure sensor put on one tire and a leak fixed in another tire. They installed shed pressure sensor and replaced valve stem and plug the nail hole in the other tire. They told me I needed new tires soon.$256.05. I woke up the following morning to a flat tire. I called again and was told that the patch was only temporary and I needed new tires. So I had them order new tires to the tune of $537 and 50 After they installed said tires they told me my rim was cracked and it was very dangerous so high. So I had to order a new rim for $433 Why did they not discover the crack on the first trip why make me have to come back for three separate trips unless you're working me for cash. It cost me a total of $1300 to have two tires replaced and a rim. I will not deal with Rousch Ford again and you shouldn't either either I did not want to give any stars. If you value your credit score - choose a different dealership!!! They RAN MY CREDIT AGAINST 7 DIFFERENT CREDITORS! They told me that they ran it against 4, I chose to walk away from the deal because as I stated in the beginning of the "deal" they had to beat my current payment. They couldn't do that. After I left, they called, tried to talk my husband into reconsidering them.. TODAY - I get a credit alert from Credit Karma - yep, 7 HARD PULLS(FYI - dealerships are supposed to only do soft pulls if they are going to pull several creditors so it doesn't negatively affect your score / hard pulls are on your credit report for 2 years and anything after 3 pulls, your score drops like a rock in water.....). They have lied and cheated and harmed my credit without my permission for the next 2 years! But don't worry, "no hard feelings, we don't have that "sour" taste in our mouths after this......." I bought my car from Jim Keim at the end of January. It was a very easy process. The salesman was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I just took it in for its 90 day inspection (which was free, I didn't know they provided that service!) and the service department was amazing! Very friendly and great customer service. Horrible experience, bought a used car, had two major issues with the car inside the first two months of owning it. My check engine light went on the day after I bought it. I had my car in for repair on september 23, 2016 for a water pump replacement because my car kept overheating. It started again in november. I brought my car in a second time. They charged $100 just to look at it and told me i needed a coolant flush. I had to go to work and didnt have time so i left and came back a few days later. They tried charging me again to look at it. Originally, they said it would be $120 for the flush but upon completing to work and picking up my car, they said the total was $269. I disputed it (the manager said it was going to be covered anyway) and i ended up not paying for the flush. Good, right? Well two days later my car overheated again. This time? A cracked cylinder head. They said it could be replaced but since my car has 101k miles, the bottom of the engine would likely fall out so they said i would have to pay $5,000 for a new engine. I dont have $5k sitting around. Im a single mom, living with my parents and putting in massive amounts of overtime just to pay bills and take care of my son. They said i could try to trade it in but since i have $9,300 left on my loan (2012 ford focus se), id have a negative equity of about $6k since my car on kbb is worth between $2.5-3.4k . I was approved via capital one for $15k (for new car only, used not an option) but my interest would put my payments way above $500/mo. I can barely afford the $305/mo i currently pay (credit is being rebuilt, not much they can do about that). The overall service manager said he would call ford to see if they could help out with the cost of the engine replacement and he would give me a call back the next morning. Its been almost a week and ive heard nothing back. One of the worst and most stressful experiences ive had. Im paying for a car i cant even drive for fear of it going up in smoke with my 2 year old in it. read more

Texted about a truck they had online with no photos, Mike texted me back just 3 cell phone photos, looked decent. But, it was not to be! After traveling an hour & a half one way, the truck was in Detail & I notice right away that rear wheel arches had rust through & bubbling of the paint. Asked Mike about this, his response was mumbling. I had tried to open the hood when it was in Detail, didn't work. I test drove the truck & had the hood popped open on I-70. Checked the OBD codes had a few, he said it was going into service & "EVERYTHING would be taken care of." His words. LIE #2. They would NOT budge on the price of the truck. Later in the week Mike texted back the truck was ready & I asked him about the OBD codes & the Hood latch. Mike: We are NOT doing anything with the 02 sensor codes & the hood you just have to give it a HIT to get it open. How much life on the brakes, Mike. It's within our limits. This was NOT acceptable to me! I was supposed to go down on the next Saturday to have my trade appraised & buy the truck. Suffice to say....I DID NOT! Ironic that they refused to negotiate the price of the truck. It was listed @ $19,469.00 Now (8-11-2021) it is $19,000.00 Almost 3 weeks later. AMAZING!! Valley Ford of Columbus, formally known as Roush Ford, sold us a 2019 Ford Escape this past July. Being young adults and new to this experience, we were so happy when we found this car. We drove it off the lot and instantly we noticed a difference in the way it was driving. There was a sound coming from somewhere, and we could feel a slight vibration in the gas pedal. We figured it was nothing, because it was off the lot of a certified Ford dealership. One month later, we take the car back to Ford. The battery light had come on. We mentioned to them the sound we heard and the shake we felt. Which had now gotten worse. They tell us they did a multi-point inspection and every box they had was checked green. We were thankful, and left with our car. We noticed that the car was still making the sound, and shaking. So, we called the dealership again. They told us that they could not get us in until the next week. At this point, it had been a few days over a month since we bought the car and slightly over the time frame of our warranty. We dropped our car off and we have not driven it since. It has been over 20 weeks without a car, after they told us it would take 9-12 weeks to get our car back. Throughout the past four months Valley Ford has not reached out to us with any information on our Escape, unless we have called them first. We have called so many times, and about 50% of those calls send us to voicemail. We have called any department we can think of (sales, parts, maintenance, management, Ford Motor Company's main customer service line, one of the owner's), and none of these calls led us to any answers. After dealing with this company, it is safe to say we will not be buying another car from Valley Ford of Columbus or any other Ford Motor Company in the future. We recommend you avoid purchasing a car with this dealership. read more

Run, don't walk away if you need service. Taken from my e-mail sent to their service department and one of their senior managers. ------------------------ I have been trying to help my mom get my late step-dad's Ford Edge serviced with your dealership. So I am late in the game, in terms of familiarity either before or after Roush took over the business from Keim. My first experience was this past Fall, when we brought in the Edge to get a tire replacement. When we ordered the tires the service person told us to just "bring it on in" whenever after the tires had arrived. When we took his advice and came in we were then told we couldn't be helped. Since we had to make a service appointment. So that ultimately wound up in 3 separate trips to get a basic tire replacement. Why we just didn't go to a Firestone is beyond me. But my parents always like to stick with the dealer where they purchased their vehicle. Fast-forward to last month. We needed the rear hatch molding replaced on the Edge. So we brought the Edge into your service department, where a service person looked up the required part, we pre-paid in advance (which might be atypical), and were told that we could make an appointment after New Year's to have the part installed after it had arrived. So we made an appointment for today at 11 AM. And I told the service person I would be waiting for the part to be installed. I sat in your waiting area for well over an hour. No one updated me as to the status of the situation. So I finally walked back to the service counters and asked about how much longer it would take to pop in a couple of molding tabs. The answer was about 2 days. First of all, I'm not sure if Roush has sleeping quarters, seeing that I wouldn't be likely spending 2 days in your waiting area. Why on Earth would I be waiting in that scenario? Then was I informed that the part needed to be color matched, sent out to a body shop for painting, and have a Ford emblem adhered. For another $260.22. I was asked if I was aware of this. No, I wasn't aware of this. Why would I make an appointment for steps that should've been taken before coming in to have the finished part installed? Why wasn't the color identified when we brought the Edge into your service department last month? You figure, the service person was looking right at all of the particulars when we pre-paid for the part. It would be a lot more logical to get the full bill of sale worked up during that initial visit. But here is another time where it takes 3 trips to take care of something. And until I make that third visit, this Edge has the rear interior hatch panel removed, and the rearview camera missing/detached. I was told by a service person that someone would be pulling up the Edge in a moment, since they were "buttoning it up." Not sure if buttoning it up means leaving the entire back panel loosely sliding around in the trunk with the rearview camera non-functional. Never during this needless appointment was I offered an apology for any misunderstanding, and was just fed information as-is without any consideration for yet another wasted trip to your dealership. I have been involved in or overseen customer service roles for the better part of 20+ years. Getting things done right the first time, and providing the customer something extra are two mottos that stick in the back of my mind. Well, I suppose if the "something extra" means extra wasted trips maybe that makes sense over my couple of months' experiences at Roush Ford. At any rate, I will definitely advise my mother to take her business to another Ford dealer. Both for purchases and service. Since I have to assist her, my time is too valuable to spend shuttling back and forth for little result. Hopefully this upcoming appointment is the last one. read more

The service department is the worst. They do not respect their customers. Made an appointment for a recall. They didn't touch the vehicle for 6 hours! Then they looked at it for a total of 10 minutes ( the time is documented on the invoice) and determined they didn't need to fix my recall. Service called and said the truck was ready. I drove there and it was sitting in the service repair area. They explained it wasn't ready even though they called 20 minutes ago to say it was. I has to wait another 15 just for someone to drive it out of the repair area. This is not the first time this has happened. There is no point in making and appointment at this dealer. Even if you make an appointment you cannot leave. You must sit there and wait hours for them to get to your car. If you leave they will take any walk in that sits down instead of working on your vehicle. My last oil change took 7 hours (yes I had an appointment). When completed, I had only an hour to stop what I was doing and get to the dealer. I did that and the vehicle was still not completed. I won't get into being stared at when sitting in and checking out a new vehicle while waiting for mine to be serviced. You couldn't pay me to buy a car here, ever! read more

I purchased a used Honda Civic for my daughters first car. We had researched and knew exactly what we wanted. We looked at a used Civic at Roush Ford but it wasn't what we wanted. He was correct and she loved the car. I purchased it prior to maintenance and dEtailing he completed, but Mike made certain the car had the proper maintenance performed and detailed to my satisfaction. I'm not an easy customer as I'm meticulous with my vehicles and know a lot about cars as well as being skeptical about car salesmen. Be careful... went to Roush ford very recently. I was there to take a look at a pre-owned vehicle they had in stock. The sales guy that I worked with is the absolute epitome of what people HATE about automotive sales people. I won't specifically give the first name of the sales guy, not trying to get someone fired but the details of my visit need to be addressed. This individual was extremely rude. Over and over again he talked over me. Rarely did I get to finish my sentences. When I did, it was very clear he had no interest in anything I was saying, or any interest in answering my questions truthfully. This sales person lied so many times I lost count at 5 or 6... I came to the dealership very educated on this particular year/make/model/trim on this vehicle. It was obvious I knew far more about it than he did. Which is fine, just don't make stuff up that you think I want to hear. I was very disgusted after 20 minutes or so, I just left. I couldn't take it anymore. The owners/management at Roush Ford should be extremely embarrassed having an individual like this representing their company. I will not be back. read more

Where do I start. I have been shopping here since 2010 when I bought a brand new mustang. Everything went well, got a good deal, so I started using the service department to take care of my work trucks. All was going well until my wife's car (2013 GMC Acadia) needed new tires. When we picked the car up we noticed that the paint was peeling off of the roof, and the rear quarter panels. Apon further investigation we determined it was brake fluid. It looked like someone had placed a square container of used brakes fluid on the roof and it had splashed all over the vehicle. We presented our findings to the service department who denied that it happened at their shop. I only asked that they meet me half way on my deductible $250.00, and I would put it through my insurance. The car had not been anywhere else other than my own garage that night, in which I do not keep brake fluid. Keeping in mind that I had been spending somewhere north of $10'000 per year in their service center not to mention the $30'00 on the new mustang. No one ever returned my calls, and the service manager completely ignored my appeals. I was so dissapointed with the lack of follow up service that I backed away from the dealership for two years, and took my business elsewhere. I finally let bygones be bygones, and went back a few weeks ago and purchased a brand new Shelby GT 350. The sales staff were pleasant and easy to deal with, my faith was renewed; However, the car needed to have racing stripes applied, and the agreement was that the dealership would order the ones I wanted and have a third party install them. Well on the date I was to bring the car in I walked in and it was obvious that no remembered to even order them, let alone follow up with me as to the status. I let it slide and we rescheduled for a later date. Once again I roll up the day before the scheduled appointment and I find out that no stripes have been ordered and the third party service had suffered employee issues which contributed to the new delay. Once again I let it slide even through I was pissed that no one bothered to call and update me. So I dropped the car off again today to have the stripes installed, and all was going well.....untill no one bothered to call and update me once again. I called twice to find out if the work was done, only to be bounced around between the service deparment and body shop. I was told that they were finishing up............and so waited for two hours for the call to come and get the completed car. That call never came, and everybody had left for the evening leaving me twiddling my thumbs. I hope it is ready tomorrow, but have to say that if that us service that you get after dropping 60k, and over 200k these past eight years I would hate to see service after purchasing a focus! This place needs to get it together. I bought a car here August 2013. When I bought it, they ordered me a key (car only had 1 key and I wanted another) and I ordered a grille (wanted a different look). The used car sales experience was smooth! Dealing with Service, Parts and Collision leaves a lot to be desired. I showed up to get a key programmed, DRL's deactivated and a SYNC/MyFord Touch update. Also, the detailers needed to get some scuffs out they missed. I was told the process would take 1-1.5 hours. It lasted nearly 5 hours! They couldn't find the key they ordered, when they did, it didn't have the internal key. They thought it has to be laser cut (they don't have the machine to do this) and when I showed them that was not the case, they were able to cut the key. Then parts said my grille was locked in the body shop but after 15 mins they were able to get it. I then came in for a grille swap. Showed up at 7:30a, and the body shop is closed still. It didn't open until closer to 8a, which is not the posted hours. A "Tire Pressure Low" light came on so since the body shop was closed I took the vehicle to service who checked for leaks (found none) and filled the tires with air then took the car to the body shop. This took about an hour. 45 mins later and the body shop still didn't get it in, it just sat there. Finally got out of there 3.5 hours later Things to note: Jim Keim Ford is anti-gun (no guns signs posted all over). It's funny that a copy of "American Rifleman" was in the waiting area and my salesperson had spent ammo shells on the desk. If I would have known of their anti-gun stance, I may have done business elsewhere. Bring something to do. The programming in the waiting area TV sucks as does most of the reading selection. They show cartoons and old shows from the 60's. They did do the grille install free and gave me the other key free. read more

Very good people, no gimmicks, no games, just a fair deal all around. Between Ford's massive improvement of quality and model selection and this dealership's customer service, these is no better place to get new car in Columbus. My second truck from them and no regrets. p.s. I can't believe I am being so nice in a review, usually I am mean and sarcastic. read more

I am always very satisfied with my experience at Jim Keim Ford. Everyone is very friendly and professional.

I've been coming to this place for years. I wouldn't dream of ever going to another car dealership. The service is always 110%. The staff are always friendly, professional, helpful and genuinely care about you and your vehicle. read more

I've heard really good things about this place but the salesman, Merril, that assisted me was awful. I needed to get a new car asap and his attitude and demeanor made me feel like he did not care about finding me car and working with him was like pulling teeth. Since then I've found a car that I love elsewhere and I know that I will not be recommending Jim Kiem Ford used cars to anyone I know. read more

I took my brand new escape in for repair.Someone rammed a grocery cart into my door.I had triple care coverage but the dent was to big to be covered under the warranty. They fixed it anyway no charge. read more

This place has customer service down. I called another local Ford Dealer to have recall performed and when I needed to reschedule I was told I would get a call back but never got one. the employees are always friendly and informative and during my repair they did an inspection which they located 2 issues, that I already knew about and was putting off, that needed attention and decided to have them perform the services. The only thing I wish they would have done would be to wash the car prior my pick up but nothing that would prevent me from taking my car there again. read more

I've been taking my car here for service for a few years now. They have always been honest with me and the prices for service are surprisingly reasonable. Repairs have been done well, and the one time they messed up with flushing the brake fluid the advisor owned up to it, apologized profusely and gave me a rental car while they fixed it at no charge. If you have a Ford, this is the place to go. read more

I've bought two cars from them and always felt I got a great deal from friendly people. As long as the Ford brand continues to hold-up I will be a repeat customer. read more
