I can honestly say this is the first review I've ever written. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Shawn Vogel at Twisted Metal. Our vehicle's damage consisted of a broken taillight and dent resulting from backing into a mailbox. We received (3) estimates from local body shops and Twisted Metal was the most economical and thorough. We eventually decided to work with a paintless dent repair company and regrettably provided an aftermarket taillight to be installed. No surprise to many, the quality and fit of the aftermarket taillight was poor. I brought the vehicle back to Shawn for his advice even though Twisted Metal did not initiate the repair. He came out immediately and tinkered with the taillight for 20 minutes to ensure the fit was satisfactory. I offered payment for the adjustment and he refused. Unfortunately I as in a hit & run & left to take care of damages on my own. Twisted Metal was great to work with & finished the job in a good time! Only k ok was having to use cash to save an extra fee. I personally don't charge my clients for the convenience of a credit card, it's just a part of doing business. But they did stay open so I could stop at the bank & get my car the day it was ready so that was nice! read more

Took my 2006 Porsche 911 to have the front bumper patched and painted as I no longer wanted to use a front license plate. Looked good when I picked it up. However, a month or two later while I was underneath the front of the vehicle I noticed 3-screws missing. Those screws were used to attach the bumper to the chassis. Wow, that was a huge oversight. They estimated 4 weeks of work to get the car-in and it is 8th week, still car is in shop. No communication from shop until 5th week when a negative google review was given. They kept saying for two weeks that car is in line for paint, when asked deeply they were waiting on insurance and doing no work on the car. While assembling the car back, they broke windshield of the car and charged insurance for their fault. OfCourse insurance rejected the windshield claim as it was shop's fault, so they are asking me to pay for it. Progressive is second largest insurance provider in states, if you have progressive insurance, do a favor to yourself by AVOIDING this shop. read more

Terrible job. Brought a Lexus SUV for repair and had all of the following issues: 1. Repair not done right the first time. The brand new pieces of trim for a door replacement were chewed up but were placed on the vehicle anyway. 2. Since a new part was needed, the wait time was over a month for the new one to come in. 3. The new part is placed in, but pieces of trim on the door are not fitting in per manufacturer's spec. I would have to take the vehicle yet a third time for the same repair so decided I had enough and took it to the dealership. Upon inspection, the dealership quickly found pieces of molding and trim that were not properly installed and with parts that were not OEM (even though I requested this up front). I am going to have to pay $1500+ out of pocket to repair the car up to standard. Needless to say, never again using this body shop. read more

Fantastic service by staff who showed great care and concern for me as the customer. I was well informed about how to navigate the insurance payment, the services that were being performed on my car, and when the car would be ready to go. The staff even gave a great estimate that held true when paying the final amount. After the outside of my car had been repaired like brand new, I was pleasantly suprised to see that the staff had taken the time to detail the inside of my car as a courtesy. Unfortunately, I've had to use TMC multiple times over the last few years. Frankly, they are the best auto body repair shop in Central Ohio. They do excellent work, their staff is very courteous and friendly and Johnny, the owner, goes out of his way to get your car done as quickly as possible without compromise. When having work done when insurance is not involved, Johnny also tries to be as fair as possible. To date, they've worked on several of our Tesla's and several of our company cars. They don't discriminate on the the type of vehicle, I've seen multiple high-end cars they're working on all the way down to older, economical type cars. Everyone at Twisted Metal was extremely kind and helpful. They went above and beyond in working with me to get my car repaired at a price that I could afford, and when I got the car back it actually seemed to be in better shape than before the accident. I have to admit that due to the length of time the repair took (due to the severity of the damage, ordering parts, and issues discovered during repair) I was pretty jumpy throughout the process, but they were so great and addressed all of my phone calls and questions with the utmost courtesy. Connie and Hailey were endlessly patient and kind to me even when I was impatient. When the repairs were finished, I was able to pick up my car immediately and everything was explained thoroughly. I have been driving for just over a week now and as I said my car is better than ever -- the owner worked on the car himself, going to lengths to keep the needed repairs within my reach, and he even took care of little details like replacing my license plate lights (Burned out, unknown to me and unrelated to the damage), and my muddy floor mats were cleaned.
