I bought my car from Buckeye back in January 2008. They didn't have the color I wanted onsite, but had one coming, so I waited. Our salesperson, Frank, communicated with me several times over email about the status of the vehicle while we waited, then had our car clean, prepped, and ready when we arrived to pick it up. There was a small concern about missing floor mats during our vehicle walk-through and he quickly addressed it. It was my fourth new-car purchase and easily the most painless sales experience. I've had my car in for service maybe a half dozen times during the 10 years I've owned it. The service bay is always clean and well-lit. I get prompt attention from staff and the prices have been competitive for standard repairs (brakes, tires, oil). Contrast that with my experience at Byers Mazda where I couldn't even get them to answer the phone most days and when I had to fight with them to acknowledge a crystal-clear issue with my RX8 that ultimately led to them replacing THE WHOLE ENGINE and it is a breath of fresh air. At Buckeye, I had one argument with them over conflicting (and ultimately false) information provided to me by another service shop and they bent over backwards to prove the accuracy of their diagnosis. There are lots of little touches that make the service experience especially pleasant including a spacious, comfortable waiting room, complimentary coffee and donut service, and a complimentary shuttle to work and back. When the weather permits, they include a complimentary car wash with service. A few times, they've even replaced the battery in my keyless entry systems with no charge. The service reps that I've dealt with, Jeff and Kevin, have provided top-notch, professional experiences every time. I also appreciate that I can schedule my service through their website when needed. I have only had one other sales experience. A few years back, I was considering an upgrade and their customer retention specialist Chris was excellent to work with. I found one car I liked and he sent it home with me for an overnight evaluation and emailed me an offer a little after I left. We ultimately decided against a purchase at the time and we got no pressure sales or hard pushback. It never ceases to amaze me how polarized folks get with their online reviews. I hate reading one and five-star reviews because so many are based off of limited interactions and don't reflect a normal experience with the business. In my case, Buckeye has earned five-stars through many positive interactions. read more

I'm beyond disappointed that after everything I outlined in my previous review, no one from Buckeye Nissan has made any attempt to contact me. Not a call, not an email--nothing. That silence speaks louder than anything else. My vehicle was returned to me with a dent in the driver's door that still has not been addressed, and to this day I have no confidence that the oil change I paid for was even completed. The fact that there was no oil change sticker, combined with my past experience of the oil cap being left off and oil spraying throughout my engine bay, makes this extremely concerning. At this point, it's hard not to view this as more than just negligence. The pattern is clear: when you speak up or leave a review they don't like, your experience suddenly gets worse. That is not just unprofessional--it's unacceptable and raises serious questions about how this dealership operates. I also want to address something else that has made me increasingly uncomfortable over time. During past visits, I personally overheard comments from staff that I found inappropriate and, in my view, homophobic. Based on those experiences, I do not feel that this is an inclusive or welcoming environment for LGBTQ customers. The lack of response, accountability, or any effort to resolve these issues shows exactly what kind of business this is. A reputable dealership would have immediately reached out to make things right. Instead, I've been ignored while left dealing with potential damage to my vehicle. I will continue to escalate this directly to Nissan and will keep sharing my experience until this is addressed properly. Consumers deserve transparency, accountability, and basic respect--none of which I've received here. Proceed with extreme caution if you choose to do business with this dealership. read more

If I could give them a zero I would! I have been a loyal customer for 6 years since I purchased the vehicle from them. I drove over an hour for my oil changes, tires and brakes on a regular basis. At my last visit, they tried to get me to replace the control arm bushings because they said they were bad. My car is a 2020 Nissan Murano and is in like new condition. They told me the cost would be around $1900.00. I asked if I was safe to drive it and the service writer told me it would be dangerous. I didn't have time that day to have the work done (thank goodness). When I returned to my home town, I called a local shop and asked the price for them do it. It was only $1100.00 so I scheduled the service for the following Tuesday. I dropped off my car and a little while later I received a call from the shop telling me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the bushings or the control arms. I felt so dumb and this shop had already ordered the replacement parts. Thank goodness my local shop is honest and has integrity. The dealership was trying to scam me and get me to pay for a service and parts that I didn't need and then scare me and make me think my car wasn't safe to drive. I will NEVER return to this dealership and I will tell everyone I know to avoid them! They lost a loyal customer! 0 out of 10 read more

I would like to be able to say it was a wonderful experience but not on this most recent vehicle service visit: Buckeye Nissan Service Center has a friendly and cordial staff. it's a very nice facility and with a comfortable, better than average, waiting area. I went in for routine maintenance on a 7:15 AM appointment; of course was to include oil change, filter, rotate tires etc. - I waited for an hour and a half when the service agent informed me that the vehicle inspection revealed an alignment was needed so I agreed to add that work, even though I had already waited a long time for an oil change, I waited another 45 minutes before completion. Within minutes of arriving back home I got a call from the service agent who said the work had not actually been completed - that the oil change and tire rotation had not been done (while thankful for the honesty, I was quite frustrated). I returned to Buckeye Nissan right then to have it completed. However, on the return trip (30 minutes away from my home mind you) it was discovered that all the work had really been done!!! My second trip was a waste of time, as confirmed by the technician/mechanic who worked on my car; the service agent or whoever was responsible, apparently did not key-in the completed work items and so the work order appeared incomplete to him on the computer. Uhggg... what should have been a simple one and a half hour oil change service took my entire morning - a whopping 7:15 AM to 11:30 AM. The service agent gave me a free bag of bagels and instituted an additional free oil change upon next service. I am glad for the honesty and restitution to make it right, but this inconvenience should not have taken place at all. Clearly I can't award a five star review/rating on this visit. Generally I like Buckeye Nissan and have purchased numerous vehicles here over the years and have had very good luck with my Nissans. Really most of the time I've received good maintenance service as well, however, recently I've had less than great experiences with the service department. Just a warning for those who seek to trade in your car here. I have a very nice 2018 Durango Citadel that I was considering trading in for a Traverse. When I got my Durango, it was on the heels of a total loss so time was of the essence and no Traverses were available at the time and rental cars were super expensive, I got the Durango which was my 2nd choice. I was just looking for a change of scenery and maybe getting my first choice now (a year later). They looked at my trade (never drove it) and came back with an offer of $23,500. I will attach a copy of my KBB value for a trade in was $26,919 (middle value - $28,363 high and $25,474 low). The value is $27-30. Their offer was about $3,500 lower than the KBB value middle offer and way under the actual value. Just beware and do your homework. Know what your car is worth before you go there. Auto's are ridiculous right now and with rates as high as they are, don't get tricked into losing thousands of dollars of your hard earned equity. I didn't go in and want top dollar because they have to re-sell but that offer, in my opinion, was predatory. A manager reached out and said it was because of repairs needed. Let me tell you, there are no dents, scratches, defects in this car. Pictures are publicly posted on autotrader now. When I asked for a list of what was identified by the appraiser, I heard no response back but I did reply that that answer was a cop-out and they should have a list of items to support their claim. Just beware. In a time where we are in an economy hurting to put food on your table, don't let a car dealer scam you for lower than what is a 'fair' offer. Maybe they were not hurting for inventory or were not willing to budge on anything because they hit their numbers, etc. The right thing to do would to say, you know we cannot offer you what your car is worth so I will not extend a trade in offer to you but would really like your business if you are interested in the car we have. That would have showed integrity and trust vs saying we will give you thousands below what it is worth on a trade in. Shame on you guys read more

(a couple months later a youtube video would come out and show how it's very easy to steal one) the year is 2023 i live in columbus ohio never had a issue with the vehicle never damage not attempts to be stolen nothing. going to get lunch at work a semi runs a red light and hits me. i call my insurance i have usaa they told me to come here because it is a trusted vendor of what ever they call it took my vehicle there in june of 2023. (refer to picture 1) a couple weeks later i come home from work and see this note attached to my door(refer to picture 2) after speaking to columbus pd they told me to call here and confirm that my vehicle was stolen. so i did after speaking to rodger asking him if my car had been stolen he said no i don't think so let me check and call you back. about 15 minutes later rodger calls me back and says yeah they pulled up on your vehicle shined the light and had it gone in 10 seconds. wow crazy right!!!! this is where things get interesting.... a day or two later i come home and find that atf special agents were at my home!!!!! trying to get in touch with me turns out my car was used in a robbery where 30 guns were stolen!!!!!!! after the debacle of getting it out of impound they get it back and they send it to another place to get more service at whitch it attempts to be stollen again!!!!!! so rodger tells me oh this is terrible let me help you since this whole mess has been there fault by going to the dealership to trade in this terrible vehicle that has brought me so much misfortune and they will "help" me after not doing anything to help me get out of the car like he said he would he called me days later to say we will get it back "soon" please dont let your insurance make the same mistake mine did!!!!!!!!!!! read this very very important dont let them take advantage of you like they did me and waste my time and my energy and my stress of having police officers and atf agents looking for me because of them please read this is not made up i have %1000 receipts on everything they have made me a victim!!!!! read more

Nationwide Insurance sent me to Buckeye Nissan to have my car repaired after an accident. Buckeye Nissan fixed it to look brand new. The parts were on backorder (of course not their fault) but they kept in touch with me with frequent updates and repaired my car very quickly once the parts arrived. When I picked up my finished car they walked me out to it and explained everything that they did along with explaining the warranty of their work. This time I needed a part, and swung by since it was handy. It's very visible from the highway but tucked away behind Wendy's, so wend your way around. Use the signage to find the entrance, but then ignore the one for the door itself and go in the side door for the showroom (2nd door north of the service bay overhead door.) The one they point you to is just for cars, and kind of a pain for pedestrians, plus parts aren't right there anyway. Go in the showroom, turn right, and look to your left. There you'll see a popcorn machine and the parts desk. Friendly and efficient staff. Told them what I needed, and they had to order it. Came in the next day. Price is reasonable for the washer pump I got; could have found for the same price online, but I needed to know I had exactly the right part (after several previous attempts online and at shops.) read more

In a nutshell, the salesman was helpful and I was able to get a good car at a reasonable price. However, the credit agent basically tried to scam me into buying a maintenance plan I neither wanted nor needed, and which would have cost me thousands of dollars. BEWARE! In more detail, I was in the market for an EV (electric vehicle), so kudos to Buckeye Nissan for having more than many dealers. I knew more about this kind of vehicle than my salesman, but you should always do your own research and be in the same position. They let me take the car home overnight so I could go through the charging process and be comfortable with the vehicle. So far so good. When it came to the credit agent/ maintenance plan scam, this is how that goes. First you get a spiel about how everybody is family. Then the part about how hard they worked to get you the absolutely lowest rate for your loan. And finally, by the way, this rate is dependent on you buying a maintenance plan. Wait, what? When did we start talking about a maintenance plan? (This EV came with an 8 year, 100,000 mile warranty from the manufacturer, plus the certified car warranty.) Very slick. When I said to take the plan out, he said, O, OK, well, we'll see what this does to your interest rates. After a quick exchange of emails, guess what? The interest rate stayed the same, and monthly payment went down hundreds. I'm not using the name of this individual because I can only imagine the policy comes down from management. As someone once said to me, if you're buying a car, just remember, these people are not your friends, they are definitely not your family. They are trying to make money off you. But I got a good car from Buckeye Nissan, without feeling too bad about it. Stay on your toes and you can too. read more

Purchased a truck from Buckeye Nissan 5/31/24. I was not able to test drive on the highway due to massive backup from an accident on the highway. Test drove through city streets and everything seemed to check out fine, the sales man was great and I was excited to purchase my truck. That is, however, until later when I had issues, I noticed there was a shakiness/vibration on the highway and when I called, I was told I would need to bring it back in, now keep in mind I live a little over an hour away. I took it in and they said one tire was extremely out of balance, they had put new tires on the truck, so I'm not sure why it hadn't already been balanced. Again, it seemed good to go, however on the highway it started to do the same vibration again. I contacted my salesman asking for a copy of the certified used car checklist required by Nissan and a copy of my 6 month warranty to be emailed to me. I expressed what was going on and that I did not want to keep driving to Columbus for fixes. I chose to buy a car a little over an hour away, but I have done this before with other dealerships and have never had issues. I was told that I would most likely need to bring it in again, costing me more gas money and running up the mileage on the truck. When I expressed these factors I was told by my salesman that he would talk to the general manager and get back to me. It's been 21 days and still no word back from the general manager or salesman.
