It was still dark out and an…read moreobject flew and hit my bumper causing it to crack as you can see in some of the photos I uploaded. I heard subtle sound and as I pulled off to the next exit my stomach sank seeing the damage. I quickly drove back home and contacted my friend that has a clear bra shop and he recommended Mark at Philip Thearles Autowerks. I got Marks number and gave him a call. He really helped me through the whole process and made me feel much more comfortable then what I was anticipating. Mark answered all my questions and gave me everything for the next step. Truly this was the best person to handle my situation since I do not trust really anyone. This car has been with me for 10 years and it holds a special place for me. I never dealt with this before on such an expensive vehicle. Fast forward Mark was kind enough to pick up the car, send me the estimate all within a few hours before the end of the day. He also had the bumper(main damaged area) off and checked to asses any other damage that could not be seen. He submitted everything to the insurance and I really did not have to do anything other than a phone call to my insurance and a couple emails. Following the next week the parts were ordered since the approval was done. I got text and picture updates of everything that was happening. I really appreciated this as I like to document the whole process. You really can tell Mark and his shop care about customer service and making you feel at ease. What I can say about the final end of the repair since a new bumper had to be ordered and repainted in Lava Orange. It looks like nothing happened! It looks better than Brand new. The paint matches exactly the rest of the car. Another thing that I was a bit worried but as you can see in some of the photos, you cannot tell the difference. When the car was ready I got a nice tour of the huge facility that is state of the art and they are Porsche certified! I am truly thankful for Mark and the shop getting this done within less than a month. I really do appreciate the whole process. No one wants to go through this but Philip Thearles Autowerks is the place to go for your automobile repairs / body shop.

This repair was covered by insurance, which Todd helped us navigate. I was also concerned with the overall repair process, as our car has a special matte paint finish that is tricky to deal with. I definitely recommend you seek them out for an estimate and to get your vehicle repaired!

Very rarely if ever have I given a review, not wanting to be a bother or cause any sort of trouble,…read morehowever VALUED customers, BEWARE OF THIER LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE... Initially we brought our vehicle here in the very early days of 2026 for repairs. Some minor, others a bit more extensive. I came here with HOPE wanting to know that my family and I would be taken care of with QUALITY service and speedy care from a slightly traumatizing experience. Our car is barely a year old, less than 20,000 miles, with some damage to the right bumper, headlight, grill, and wire harness. We would get in contact with them, multiple days only to be met with "they are currently busy/out to lunch, would you like us have X Technician give you a call back?" I'm not a car guru, it's why we brought it here, but as for customer satisfaction and service so far, it has been highly disappointing. There is ABSOLUTELY no accountability for promptness. IF THERE EVER WAS A PLACE THAT NEEDED TO BE ON "Undercover Boss", THEN LOOK NO FURTHER... Forgive any extra dramatics, but I'm at Witt's end. It should not take constant periodic calls from the customer to check on the condition of their vehicle. It shouldn't take weeks for the technician to pick up the phone and explain what's going on. Or for them to get parts in and realize that the wrong parts had been ordered for a car that is LAST YEARS model, multiple times. Especially now that we are going into the month of MAY. It's been in the shop for Close to 5 months... While it slightly lessens the sting to joke, the fact that family members ask if it'll be done by next year, it fills me with dread. Because I hope that our vehicle is built soundly. I hope to rest easy and know that my family and I will be safe for when we do get to finally drive away from this Collision Center.
