I was scraped by another car at a light, but the damage was minimal, so didn't bother w insurance. Most of the damage was literal paint scraps and a couple tiny dents. Vanessa at Lloyd's helped me by explaining the process of getting the tiny dents out and would cost thousands, bc you'd have to remove panels of my car to get to them, so she recommended another cheaper way. Then she offered to have their "buffer guy" see what they could do w the scrapes, FOR FREE. The pictures speak for themselves!!! Everyone was so nice and polite, the waiting room was comfy and had snacks and coffee. Lots of smiles and kindness, loved it! I HIGHLY recommend this shop for your vehicles! Btw, I LOVE MY SUBARU! GREAT customer service. Went to Lloyd's (after two other quotes) to get a quote after my car was hit in a parking lot. Mike, the owner, and team were fantastic. Paint was involved (two colors - but no dents) and I was getting quotes from $1700-$2000 bc the bumper needs to be removed, re-calibrated for the sensors, etc. Mike asked if he could try to buff out some of the paint scratches. A few minutes later, car was nearly like new. He even wrote down the paint color number in case I wanted to order touch up paint myself...he understood how I felt at the idea of spending $2k on what was left - a small blemish. I didn't get my car repaired at Lloyd's, but they did do the tear down for my car insurance after we were rear ended. I have seen their work on my dad's cars that were repaired here and it's immaculate. But even without having any repairs done here, I couldn't love them more. From the second I came in, Bobby was a gem. He was kind, understanding and beyond helpful. While Geico has been nothing but a nightmare aftet our accident, Bobby and the rest of the staff were so wonderful to work with. They were upfront about the fact that Geico would probably declare the vehicle a total loss, and even answered questions about the insurance process - which was great, because at this point, I never want to speak with anyone from Geico ever again. Took my car here because they came highly recommended by a friend. At first they were are very friendly. Not once did they ever call with progress on my car, I had to call for updates. They had my car for 30 days . I was told the mirror they ordered was wrong and had to send it back. Two different people told me on the phone that they would call my insurance company and would explain the issue and see if I could get an extension on my rental. I asked my husband to stop by there cause I felt I was getting a run around. When he went in they told him that I had to call my insurance company and ask for the extension. On the 30th day I went into their office. They said my car was done and was getting washed, this was at noon. They told me they would deliver my car to my house once it was completed. Went back to their office at 4:30 and it still was not done being washed. The next day I had to take my car back because they forgot to clamp a piece back on the car, They placed an "after market" bumper on my car that doesn't fit flush to the car so it bows out. I asked them to fix it and was told that is just how it is since its an after market bumper. Repairs were almost $10,000 you can at least have the bumper fits correctly. Very disappointed and won't go back to them. read more

Overall was an OK experience but personally would skip. Selected this place over others because of its "priority" repairs as a Progressive partner. Lloyds quoted me 15 days both times I visited. They seemed to be overwhelmed with cars so I even offered to wait and drop off at a better time for them (to get faster service). . Needed two parts replaced/painted plus some body work. At the initial drop off I was asking a question about paperwork and the rep replied "you're screwed either way"- which I thought was unnecessary/uncalled for, but the wrong response (I wasn't asking about price). Could tell she was not listening to the question I asked. The rep called me a few times and though -seemed- to be on track, I could tell they she didn't visually actually check how the cars progress was going. Quoted probably multiple pick up dates past the 15 days only to find they 'forgot' to paint one of the two parts that needed to be done. They did not notice that my bumper was painted. Lack of attention to detail. They did offer to give me a rental eventually, but honestly should have offered it once they passed the quoted pick up date. I will say the color match of my car was very good, but sloppy paint drips were left on the inside of the door frame which annoyed me. Even more lack of attention to detail. My car is two years old so I was also peeved they couldn't find a "new" door to put on, but instead one from an older model car. Was probably cheaper for them. Overall took 26 days not 15. Would have liked them to give me an accurate quote so I could have selected another business (like Philip Thearles down the way). Their Apple Pay system was also not set up properly so though I called ahead of time to make sure they had it. Discovered later that they had a limit set for purchase amounts, possible it was about $100. Could not use my Apple Pay which was also disappointing. Go if you want, but hopefully this shop will get it together for future customer experiences. read more

We found out about Lloyd's because they partner with AAA. They made it so easy to use insurance. Everyone was so nice and helpful we worked with from start to finish. We were on a time crunch to get our car back and they were able to get it completed on time. Their work is great and it doesn't look like we ever got hit. Rodent's had completely eaten my Jee[ Compass' under hood insulation liner. Read good reviews about Lloyd's on Yelp, called and then sent a picture of my liner and VIN panel to Bobby. He got back to me quickly with a quote (very reasonable), I agreed and he ordered the liner which arrived the following day. Took my car in, Bobby replaced the liner in an hour and that was that. UPDATE: Life's been busy. I got the truck back very quickly after the last update, and snapped a couple pics but I didn't think they did their justice. Was going to wait for a wash and good lighting... lo and behold I was involved in another accident before I even had a chance to wash the dang thing. The first thought driving away from the accident was "I need to call Rob." Seriously. There wasn't even a hesitation in who I would call to work on my truck. And like clockwork, Rob answered his phone right away, gave me his condolences about the accident, and hooked me up with his tow truck guy who got me to his shop in less than half an hour. So I didn't end up actually having Lloyd's repair my car, because after waiting on insurance to make the call to total or repair, they ended up totaling it. That said, I dealt with Bobby at Lloyd's both in person and multiple times over the month or so they were stuck with my car. Armando went above and beyond to help me. I only went in for an estimate, and he knew likely I wasn't going to get the work done, but he gave me detailed information on how to handle my situation and was extremely honest. He has 40(?) years or so in the business and understands the ins-and-outs, from the work itself to how insurance works. I had follow up questions which he also made himself readily available to answer. This alone sets the shop apart for me, especially after getting estimates and dealing with other shops. I didn't necessarily have bad experiences, but I definitely had a much better experience here. Other shops emailed me the estimate much later, sometimes with me having to remind them after a couple days. Here, I got it done in 15 or 20 minutes. Growing up in East County Lloyd's Collision Santee has always had a great reputation in quality of work. I chose to be there Customer and the quality of work was great and I am very satisfied. I would especially like to thank Britney and Haven for being knowledgeable, honest, and providing great customer service by communicating timelines and any dilemmas. However, I would like to acknowledge Bobby. Bobby failed to be knowledgeable, honest, and did not provide customer service at all. He actually created a problem because his lies. When I dropped the car off he told me it would be 3 weeks. 2 weeks in he tells me the shipped parts were damaged and another one would have to be ordered so it would be another week on a Wednesday; so 4 weeks instead of 3. I understand things happen and was more than ok with it. I call again on the Friday before to confirm Wednesday is the correct date and tells me he isn't sure now on the timeline and to call him before the shop closes around 5. Bobby told me he is off at 530 and I called multiple times and no one picks up. This is the moment I become irritated because the back and forth timeline and an agreed time to expect my call was not held up on his end. The following week I get a hold of Bobby. By the way Bobby never calls you. You have to call Bobby. He tells me that no one has been working on my car. In fact the guy that was supposed to come in on Saturday to work on it never showed up and also did not show up Monday. Bobby is apologizetic and tells me he will he will call me back with a timeline. I never receive a call and now we are passed the 4 week mark of when the car is supposed to be done. I call again the following day and speak with Britney. I find out that the shop is closed on the weekend and the guy that was supposed to be there on Monday to work on my car was in fact there. So Bobby just lied to cover the fact that he is clueless which created me the customer to be pissed off at Lloyd's Collision. Britney and Haven let me know it would be done within the next 2 weeks and which process of repair the vehicle is in. They didn't call me everyday but they communicated 2 to 3 times throughout the 2 weeks and were efficient. Bobby is bad at his job and I can see customers having bad experiences and not wanting to come back. He is liability to Lloyd's Collision and I would hate to see him hurt the business. read more

After a communication misunderstanding Bob Jr contacted me and was very upset about the communications mess up.. He got me a rental for several days and made my truck paint like new with touching up and fixing a few minor issues mentioned in my first observation and posting. He couldn't change the original complaint but he did make it much better with great family service and good honest concerns for the customers. I was pissed! He made it all better. If something is not right please give these guys the chance to correct before posting here or wherever. This place is amazing and so are the people. My car wouldn't start and I had to go jumped just to get home. I called Lloyd's and dropped my car off same day. They were efficient, quick, and helped out when I was in need. Once my car was ready to be picked up, they explained thoroughly what they found the diagnosis to be and the people were so kind as well.
