I found them on a Groupon, so drove from Del Mar to Santee to have them refurbish/restore the headlights on my 2009 Acura as they had oxidized so much it was reducing nighttime visibility. WOW... I was EXTREMELY impressed when I picked up my vehicle a few hours later as it looked like a brand new car. The headlights are as clear as when I first purchased my car and I also purchased the 5 year warranty, so they guarantee them to stay this way or redo them should they oxidize within that time. Driving back to San Diego from Vegas in my wife's new car after celebrating our anniversary, and a truck ahead of us on the deserted stretch of I-15 blew a tire and the tire tread nailed the front right of our car. We only noticed the next morning in the light that it left a big black mark on the front passenger corner. Total bummer with a new car and a thousand buck deductible (and unsure if it would affect our insurance rates). I was able to get much of it off with soap and a sponge, but it left a noticeable lighter mark. My parents have used Bumper Doc before and highly recommended them. I drove over and saw the sign saying "corner scuffs starting at $525," and that was out of my current budget due to the cost of the anniversary trip, kids' expenses, etc., so I was going to leave without bothering them. As I got back in the car, a nice gentleman came out and caught me before I pulled away. I showed him the mark, and he said "one second." He went inside and came back out with a little handheld buffer machine and some stuff on it, and buffed it all out or worked whatever magic it was that totally fixed the issue (I know nothing about cars or tools), and did it in under a minute for free. My wife shed tears of joy when I sent her the picture and told her the story. That's the kind of great guys Bumper Doc are, it appears. I spoke to Jerry when I tried to book an appointment in the morning for a window tinting. As I was speaking , he kept cutting me off. I mentioned that I had old tint that I was going to be removing myself. He tried it to overcharge me for a removal when I stated that I would be doing it myself. Not even giving me the option, just commanding that he will be charging extra. I also mentioned that I saw the deal on groupon. He was pretty rude and pissy for a service that he put on groupon himself. It seems like they put a discount service on GP and low key resent you for it. Don't offer a service on groupon and have an attitude about it. So I booked an appointment anyway , even though I was hesitant. They told me they were gonna call a day before to confirm the appointment. When it came to the day of my appointment , they never even confirmed or called. If you're unprofessional and incompetent to do a simple tint job without being rude, maybe don't be in business! read more

May 2021 Headlight Restoration work. January 2024, warranty work on same. Super duper friendly, inviting even, and got the work done on my headlight restoration with NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!!!!! What more could I ask for, did I miss something...LOL? They also asked if I wanted to touch up the tint (for free, still part of the warranty as well) but I honestly did not see the need, its an old car anyway. But the tint certainly does lower the temperature inside the cockpit of the car. And significantlyhelps with the bright hot sun on the drivers side window in particular. They repaired and painted baseball sized dent in back bumper, replaced and painted entire front bumper and matched paint perfectly with a lifetime warranty all for less than 1/2 the price Toyota Dealership wanted to charge. They told me it would take 2-3 full days to complete the work. I took it in Wednesday at 8 am and Thursday at 2:30 pm, they called to say my car was done. About 2 weeks ago, my wife and I noticed that the plastic trim above the front right wheel on her Fiat 500X was coming off and that the mounting point under the vehicle was damaged. When we took her car to BumperDoc for a quote, they said that it looked like we ran over something but that it was an easy fix as no paint work needed to be done. It was just a matter of removing the old plastic trim piece, fixing the mounting point under the vehicle, and installing the new piece. I ordered the part from DCH CDJRF in Temecula, picked it up, and brought it with me to my appointment yesterday. I dropped the vehicle off around 8 AM and a little before 11 AM, I received a call saying that the vehicle was ready. This review isn't necessarily about the actual work done, it's moreso about the service/conflict resolution of the shop. I purchased a Groupon to get my windows tinted and contacted the shop to schedule the appointment. I took the first available one which was about a week and a half out on a Friday at 11. I got a call the day before from Angel confirming I would be there for my appointment to which I confirmed I would be there. An hour before my appointment, I get a call from Angel again letting me know I could come early since the 10am person cancelled their appointment. I thought it was odd that I was being called to come in an hour early when my appointment was an hour away, although I appreciated the option. I arrived at my appointment, picked my tint and signed over all the paperwork. Everything was fine. The tinting process took about 3 to 4 hours which I was fine with. I am happy with the tint job. What I am not fine with is how my vehicle was treated. They left their dirty ass floor mat on my driver seat side, they unplugged my rear dashcam and left it hanging and they also took all three of my rear headrests off and just threw them on the floor. I also had some belongings on the floor in the rear which they just threw in the front seat with no care. I'm of the mindset if you move something, put it back to where it belongs. Leaving that dirty ass mat in my car and not putting the headrests back to where they were is not only rude but extremely unprofessional. The biggest problem I found after having the work done is that my rear backup camera is no longer secured in place. I noticed it the same day that something was off with my camera. Initially, I thought maybe there was some water or spray that covered the backup camera as I noticed the view was off. I inspected my trunk to find that my rear camera is out of position. This enraged me because it was 100% not like this beforehand. I contacted the shop the following Monday when they opened to let them know about how I felt like my property was not respected. I spoke with Angel again and told her that I liked the work but the service was lacking for me. I went down the list of all of my concerns that I had. Instead of apologizing for any of it, she just justified why they did what they did. I understand that they needed to unplug my rear dashcam to apply the tint to the rear windshield, a simple "Hey we noticed you had the dashcam back there and we needed to unplug it to install the tint. Also, the tint needs to set for 2 weeks so please leave it unplugged until then" would have sufficed. It's all about clear expectations and communication. When I brought up my major concern about the rear backup camera, Angel denied that they did that to my vehicle and said they don't have any reason to do that to my car. I take care of my car very well and know that it happened at their shop. Angel said I could bring it back to have them look at it to see what they can do, but honestly, I don't feel like that will serve me well at all. I did not receive one apology for the basic things they did wrong like leaving the dirty mat in my car, throwing all my stuff around my car without care and the headrests being thrown on the ground and not put back. So if I am not going to receive any customer service over those simple concerns, what makes me think they're actually going to address the issue with my rear backup camera?
