Had them paint and install a used aftermarket front bumper for my S2000. Didn't realize that the…read moreprevious owner of the bumper cut off about an inch and a half of material from each corner of the bumper, destroying the outboard tabs. Metrix completely rebuilt the corners and made the bumper look like new. They took their time with making sure the fitment was as close to OEM as possible and they did not disappoint. See the pictures for yourself. (Don't mind the lip, I told them to just fix the cracks and not to paint it. Also, the car is 18 years old with oxidized white paint. It'd be almost impossible to color match the bumper to the rest of the car.) The turnaround time of about 2 weeks wasn't bad considering that they're a small, low-key shop, and the amount of work needed to get the bumper to fit right. Three weeks ago, I went out for an early drive with my 2016 GT3 RS. It was still dark out and an…read moreobject flew and hit my bumper causing it to crack as you can see in some of the photos I uploaded. I heard subtle sound and as I pulled off to the next exit my stomach sank seeing the damage. I quickly drove back home and contacted my friend that has a clear bra shop and he recommended Mark at Philip Thearles Autowerks. I got Marks number and gave him a call. He really helped me through the whole process and made me feel much more comfortable then what I was anticipating. Mark answered all my questions and gave me everything for the next step. Truly this was the best person to handle my situation since I do not trust really anyone. This car has been with me for 10 years and it holds a special place for me. I never dealt with this before on such an expensive vehicle. Fast forward Mark was kind enough to pick up the car, send me the estimate all within a few hours before the end of the day. He also had the bumper(main damaged area) off and checked to asses any other damage that could not be seen. He submitted everything to the insurance and I really did not have to do anything other than a phone call to my insurance and a couple emails. Following the next week the parts were ordered since the approval was done. I got text and picture updates of everything that was happening. I really appreciated this as I like to document the whole process. You really can tell Mark and his shop care about customer service and making you feel at ease. What I can say about the final end of the repair since a new bumper had to be ordered and repainted in Lava Orange. It looks like nothing happened! It looks better than Brand new. The paint matches exactly the rest of the car. Another thing that I was a bit worried but as you can see in some of the photos, you cannot tell the difference. When the car was ready I got a nice tour of the huge facility that is state of the art and they are Porsche certified! I am truly thankful for Mark and the shop getting this done within less than a month. I really do appreciate the whole process. No one wants to go through this but Philip Thearles Autowerks is the place to go for your automobile repairs / body shop.

Insurance listed Fix Auto Santee as one of their partner vendors and Yelp reviews looked good. Overall our experience with Fix Auto Santee was a positive one. Our service representative, Ed, was a pleasant person. He took the time to patiently answer our questions. I'm sure he sees a lot people having to begrudgingly use his services so his welcoming personality helps ease the pain. He took the time to personally address minor scuffs and scratches that were not part of the accident just as part of their service, no additional charge. That was a plus. Ed kept us updated almost daily which I really liked. I hope you never need to get work done but if you do I recommend Fix Auto Santee.
