Not very upfront and honest. I took my son's car for a front end collision repair, the car was replaced with a similar car and year but different VIN # . This happened several years ago. I have to leave the front end parts that we paid for and never installed, Ted didn't even gave us credit!! Since then we experienced all kinds of mechanical issues until the engine blew up.Thank you for trusting this fellow Pinoy!! read more

I had a great experience at car image!! My Honda Accord had been damaged in the parking lot at Target, the front bumper and various other parts were hit by someone, apparently pretty hard. Anyway, Ted worked with insurance company as the extent of the damage was revealed, and he and his staff did a beautiful job on the car. I'm so pleased with the outcome. The reviews I saw on here were pretty old, so I wondered about that, however he was recommended by another auto repair shop that I trust. I'm very happy I chose Car image to repair my car. read more

I am the original owner of this 1994 Volvo 940 Turbo wagon. When it came time to repaint the car, I was recommended to Ted Dominguez at Car Image in Spring Valley. I made the trip down from Temecula and found Ted agreeable to do a complete trim-off refinish. The results were stunning. Ted matched the Volvo #214 Metallic Gray exactly and put down a beautiful finish. His entire staff are dedicated craftsmen who care about what they do, and every job passes Ted's discerning eye before considered done. I was so pleased with the results, I asked his crew to pose by the Volvo in the front parking lot. The finish is strong and maintains to factory spray appearance. I'll be showing the car now in local events, and will make sure to add Car Image to the list of businesses I used for this restoration. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Car Image to anyone. read more

Awesome value and workmanship for the price. Ok, so I accidentally scarped a door on my new Tesla on my house. I was sad and went a round and got some estimates a "Certified Tesla" shop quoted me ~$4000.00 and I was really sad. I decided to get a few more estimates. I got to Car Image and they gave me an estimate for 1/3 of what I got from the "Certified Tesla" shop. A few others shops gave me estimates for about 1/2 of the "Certified Tesla" shop. I took the car in on Monday morning and picked up on Saturday morning. And now it looks like nothing ever happened to the door. Looks brand new again, as it should for a car that is less than a month old. If I am ever in need of body and paint work again I will absolutely go back to Car Image. read more

I've got to say, this is truly a HIDDEN gem (literally hidden, driveway downwards before Uhual) !!! I always had taken my car to Euro Auto Spot in Miramar because they are very honest and affordable but the distance always was a bummer if I had to get towed. That is until I found this place! It's less than 10 miles from my home! They are very honest with what needs to be done. They are hard working individuals. The customer service is fabulous! Talk about service with a smile! To me, customer service is a big deal and these folks here won me over. They are very courteous and friendly. I had taken my car in to repair the dangling lip and it was quickly fixed, nice and sturdy. Second, today I took my car to have the fog lights replaced with xenon bulbs I had purchased elsewhere and to get my headlights restored. Each time, GREAT service and affordable! read more
