Very rarely if ever have I given a review, not wanting to be a bother or cause any sort of trouble, however VALUED customers, BEWARE OF THIER LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE... Initially we brought our vehicle here in the very early days of 2026 for repairs. Some minor, others a bit more extensive. I came here with HOPE wanting to know that my family and I would be taken care of with QUALITY service and speedy care from a slightly traumatizing experience. Our car is barely a year old, less than 20,000 miles, with some damage to the right bumper, headlight, grill, and wire harness. We would get in contact with them, multiple days only to be met with "they are currently busy/out to lunch, would you like us have X Technician give you a call back?" I'm not a car guru, it's why we brought it here, but as for customer satisfaction and service so far, it has been highly disappointing. There is ABSOLUTELY no accountability for promptness. IF THERE EVER WAS A PLACE THAT NEEDED TO BE ON "Undercover Boss", THEN LOOK NO FURTHER... Forgive any extra dramatics, but I'm at Witt's end. It should not take constant periodic calls from the customer to check on the condition of their vehicle. It shouldn't take weeks for the technician to pick up the phone and explain what's going on. Or for them to get parts in and realize that the wrong parts had been ordered for a car that is LAST YEARS model, multiple times. Especially now that we are going into the month of MAY. It's been in the shop for Close to 5 months... While it slightly lessens the sting to joke, the fact that family members ask if it'll be done by next year, it fills me with dread. A month to repair A BUMPER AND ONE HEADLIGHT. A bumper. And one headlight. A bumper repair here takes a month. Im pretty sure I myself could build the car from scratch in a month. It does not take this long to repair a bumper and a headlight. And they gave me some excuse about having to procure the parts and work with insurance when I said I needed the car in the next few days since I'm leaving the country and need to return my rental before I leave. The parts arrived at their shop precisely two weeks ago. And still crickets. I'm getting calls from enterprise saying my rental is almost up, which I'm lucky I have because otherwise I would've been without a car FOR A MONTH. And they want $4666 for a bumper repair. The car itself was $25k new. They charge $105/hr for body and paint labor. $325/hr for mechanical labor. $65/hr for paint supplies? They said it would take 20 hours to perform the repair (that's also steep). My insurance estimate was around $1800 btw. The only reason I signed the papers was because Geico, my insurance, approved the repairs, and I am in school studying aerospace engineering so don't have time to deal with this. My insurance rates are gonna be through the roof because of this place. It's a tough world and my mistake for choosing this place but man I might just have to call an attorney. Like look at my bumper, that's it, there is no frame damage either. Btw the parts cost was around $2000 making 20 hours of labor over $2500... Like what is this??? read more

Back at Sunroad just a month after getting my car back because of an error their technicians made. The fact that they had my car for 1.5 months just for me to have to return because of their error is definitely frustrating. In addition, their technicians don't work past 4pm even though they close at 5pm, which is why I made an appointment for today just for them to be inconclusive in diagnosing what the issue is. On top of that, they're saying they need to keep the car overnight AGAIN! I wouldn't bring my car here again if I was paid to. They struggle with transparent communication with their clients. They don't update you on what's going on with your car even if you are asking for updates and then make mistakes that waste a client's time and resources. read more

Get my paint repaired here. I am very disappointed about the quality and lack of communication. Lack of communication: They never update you unless you call them. Since I am on a rental, it would be nice to let me know, so I can extend or return my rental. No, I need to call every time. Paint quality. It is said to be a one-week job (4 days), then extends to 7 days, now 3 weeks. However, when I inspect the paint, it is soo disappointing. It is either dirt or paint nibs in the paint. I am not an expert on car paint but even I can see it. If it is the paint shop's problem, they should have a QC before they accept it or ask for more work. No, they just tell me it is ready. Then some patch fix and then it causes more problem. I must say I am not impressed with their work. At least no QC control. read more

I was told that my repair job on my car would take 1.5 weeks. When the 1.5 weeks arrived, I was told they would need two more days. My car would be available on Friday. I decided to return my rental car on the day that my car was supposed to be ready. As I was waiting for notification, I was not contacted at all by them. I decided to contact them. I was informed that my car would be ready the following Monday. That left me car less for a weekend. I told them that I returned the rental car because I was told my car would be ready. They told me not to return the rental car after I already did. Perhaps it would have been a better move on their part to inform me Friday morning, that my car wouldn't be ready that day. Monday came, and still not a single messages from them. I had to call them once again. I was told that it would be ready at 4pm. I arrived and questioned why, I left my car with them for two weeks with 230 miles range. When I questioned that I am picking it up with 181 miles range. What were they doing, taking joy rides? I was told that once I start driving the car, the difference in range would be reduced. That was a lie. I never regained the range. I will admit that they did good work with the damage on my car. I would advise to be leary of their business practices. read more

Large dent and scratch on my brand new car that was not there prior. My car is black and I wash it and hand dry weekly. The dent was definitely not there. And it looks as if someone attempted to "clean" it up some how. It shows that they attempted to wipe it down because the clear coat paint is scratched as well. I took photos for my insurance claim 4 days before taking it into their shop. No dents or scratches appear on those photos. They claim they took a photo of the scratch at check in but they could've taken that photo at any point since they had the vehicle for 3 days. There is no proof the photo was taken before they began the work. I don't trust that they were being honest about it. Showed no interest in repairing their damage. read more

From 2 wks. estimate to 4 wks to 5 then 6 wks! Insurance paid 30 rental car- so now I'm paying. Excuse after excuse. Oct13- went to pickup up car, and wouldn't start. Thank you Erin Cruz and the mechanics involved in repairing my Mazda. You guys did a phenomenal job on the paint and buff. For context, my car was towed because I parked illegally. The towing company put a dent and scratch on the car so I brought it into Sunroad to have those flaws taken care of. They also washed the car and went an extra mile (or 1.6 kilometers) to vacuum the interior and dusted the dashboard. I would have given a 3 or 4 stars because the ECD wasn't fulfilled, but honestly they deserve a 5. It was back-breaking riding my motorcycle to work everyday. I was referred to Sunroad after a sweet lady backed her car into mine. Dealing with insurance, auto repairs, and rental cars is never a fun task but Todd Stork and the ladies at the front made the process so smooth and as quick as I could imagine possible. I probably spent less than 20 minutes onsite including drop off and pick up. My vehicle looks good as nee and not only did they wash the outside, the vacuumed out the inside as well. September 01 around 10:15pm Mauricio from a policy n 967554086 hit behind my car and destroyed my car. My car was taken for forensic examination and then to the Bodyshop SunRoad collision center. First they told me that my car couldn't be repaired, then after talk with insurance they told me that my car could be repaired. It took them 3 months to finish repairing the car and when I went to pick up my car, I noticed that all the parts replaced were from used cars, even the car's suspension was replaced with used parts. the worst of all was that my car's bumper didn't fit properly because my car was completely out of alignment... the worst of all was that they gave me the car with a dent and full of teeth near the rear door on the driver's side, where they assumed the dent already existed. However, I have photos of when I bought my car and I also have photos of when the accident happened. All the photos show perfectly that my car was in excellent condition and the dent was made by them since when the accident happened the back door would no longer open, and to open it they had to damage the car's bodywork. I also want to point out that I ran out of gas in the car because the gas gauge isn't working, maybe because of the impact, also the interior finishes are all loose and poorly fitted. read more

I brought my car in yesterday after pulling my front fender almost completely off. I had backed out of a parking spot with a metal pole protruding from the ground. The fender was still connected on the passenger side but dragging the ground on the drivers side and the running light was dangling from the electrical cord like an eyeball ripped from it's socket. I "MacGyver'd" the mangled mess as best I could with some zip ties and painters tape from my trunk to see if I could get back home. I decided to call Sunroad Collision Center because they had done an awesome job 5 years ago when my previous car had been rear ended at a stop light. I called to see if I could make an appointment to bring it in. Toni at the front desk answered the phone and she remembered me. After I explained my situation she put me on a brief hold then told me she had spoken with her boss, Steve. He said if I thought it was safe to drive, on the street to bring it in now so they could at least confirm it was safe to drive on the freeway. When I got there, Steve stopped what he was doing to come out and take a look. He said that there were a few broken clips and connections but that it could be saved. He told me they probably had the parts needed in-house and that if I could leave it with him for the afternoon he would see what he could do. The shop was clearly busy with vehicles in every dock. I thought I would be lucky to get it back before the end of the week. I decided to grab some lunch and was about to Uber home when Toni called to tell me that Steve said my car was ready! The work was amazing. Toni even ran it through the car wash before she pulled it around for me. The front end looks brand new. I can't imagine better service at another shop. read more

I was referred here from Kearney Mesa Hyundai dealership (I guess they work together). But honestly I wish they didn't work together. Sunroad seemed to have all their ducks in a row compared to the dealership and I wouldn't want to be associated with them. I had gotten in an accident and since I'm leasing my vehicle I was like oh I'll go to the dealership. I had called Kearney Mesa dealership probably around 10 times and had left my name and number probably 8 times and no one ever called me back. Then the last time I had called I said I was just going to bring my vehicle in and they can work on it whenever. The day I was bringing it in I got a call from them telling me they don't even do collisions and I needed to call Sunroad and they gave me their number! I was furious why it took over a month to give me this info. Well I call Sunroad someone answers tells me to email them my estimate within a day someone called me back and I set up a date and time for the repair. It was magical they knew what they were doing! I dropped it off and since the car was newer it ended up being twice the estimate and a few more days but that didn't bother me They called me every day and gave me and update and worked with my insurance company the whole time. We found Sunroad through the Jeep website, and decided to take our Grand Cherokee in to fix some very minor damage. It took 3 months for the parts to get in... okay, we could accept that. They had our Jeep for FIVE weeks, and it was minor damage on the passenger side door. After two weeks, I first received a call saying after quality control, blah, blah, we should have our car back by the end of the next week. This pattern went on for three weeks. After the initial call, I called to see when the car would be ready, as I heard nothing from them by the end of the week it was supposed to be ready, and she told me the same thing... blah, blah, quality check, should be done by Monday.... not done...should be done by end this week. For sure it will be done by the end of this week. WE finally got our insurance company involved. The insurance company called, and that was about all they could do, but we did get the car back the next day. We get the car back and the automatic open the door control on the passenger side isn't working, and the blind spot sensors are not working appropriately. I took it into the Jeep dealership this morning, and Sunroad had left the handle switch unplugged... so much for all their quality control. Complete liars and incompetent. It also was apparent they were enjoying listening to our sound system, as they had adjusted the speakers and stereo to their liking, and didn't bother putting it back to how we had it. read more

Mike at the Kearney mesa location made the whole process so much easier for us. Someone side swiped my new Rav 4 and it was a stressful situation dealing with the insurance company. He helped us every step of the way. He would email and call to update us so we never had to question what was going on with my car. Everyone in the office was also great, helpful and friendly. Not only did they fix my car earlier then planned but when I picked it up they had thoroughly washed the inside and outside of my car. The body work looked amazing too. It looked brand new.
