I was in a small accident that caused my front bumper of my car to be damaged. I came to Collision Doc to get it repaired under the other party's insurance. Of course the insurance lowballed me but Fernando did the best he could to make sure I was getting the best possible rate and to help me. They did a great job fixing the damaged part you couldn't even tell anything ever happened to it. I cannot recommend Fernando enough to everyone who decides to come here. Quick, easy, and no haggle. Justin was great. Came out and evaluated my car. He gave me honest options which I like. As a women, sometimes shops will try to up-charge and add unnecessary items, etc but he kept it real and that speaks volumns. Car was fixed in less than 2 hours! My damage was minor but had I taken it to another body shop it would have been there for a day or 2, Trust me, I've worked in the industry. Anyhow, everyone was very kind and helpful. My car looks as good as new again and I saved! We brought our Tesla Model Y here to have the front right bumper repaired after a hit and run. Justin at the front told us it should be about two weeks for our car to be repaired. Unfortunately, the parts were severely delayed due to Tesla and our car took about five weeks to be repaired. Justin was very apologetic even though the situation was out of the shop's control. He even included a great detail on our car for the hassle. Hopefully we won't be back but if something bad happens, I'll bring it back to the doc's! read more

I cannot recommend this shop enough! Last month I backed into a wall, damaging the back side of my car (rear bumper). Was initially going to pass on getting it repaired, but it was such an eyesore. Since I already had previous damage from years before, I decided it was time to look into getting it fixed. I did my research & visited quite a few shops around San Diego to get an estimate. After speaking with Fernando, he worked with me & gave me the best estimate (I opted to pay out of pocket). Additionally he did such a great job of keeping me in the loop & updating me on repairs. After getting my car back, I was impressed with how well they did. They even went above & beyond by fixing my exhaust with no additional cost so I wouldn't have to pay for a whole new exhaust (something had torn the exhaust cover off years ago). Wow! What a stellar 10 star experience here at Collision Doc regarding an Allstate claim where another driver was backing into the same parking space I was turning right into at the same time, at the Temecula Costco. It was really, a rather funny story, I admit, because I saw a vacant space only 4 cars away from Costco's front door, but it was down a different aisle. But when I turned into that aisle to get it, a mini-cooper got in front of me. Oh No, he's gonna get the space before me! But wait, instead of turning into it, he PASSES the prime parking space, and Oh Boy, I get it! As I am turning right into the space, the mini-cooper is BACKING INTO MY CAR ! I HONKKKKKKK madly, but then "Crunch", horrible sound of my fender being crushed, by mini cooper backing into me. The mini cooper owner, a senior like myself, tells me as soon as he gets out of his car, "You got in my way!!!" I yell, "No one backs into a parking space! I thought you didn't want it, cos you drove right by." He immediately resigns to "'It's my (his) fault". He says this several times, and even VOLUNTEERS to me "My rear view mirror doesn't work". His insurance company, Allstate., told me to take it to a body shop of my choice and get an estimate. I took my car to Collision Doc and about 3 other body shops in that area. Collision Doc had the highest cost to repair $3700, so I was hoping I could get paid that much by Allstate. Fernando told me "Don't let them total your car!", because it was 1995, had 322,000 miles on it. Allstate would not give me any value for the fact that I paid $4000 the year before, to rebuild my engine, because they considered rebuilding the engine "a repair", not a restoration. Months went by, and I did tell the Allstate adjuster that I wanted Allstate to just send me a pay out of $3700. Finally Allstate had to set up an appointment for inspector to come to my house to examine the car. I went back in the house when the adjuster left, and already email from Allstate, said they were paying me (only) $1667, which was $2000 less than what Collision Doc said it would cost to repair. A few minutes later, another email said "You Got Money!" from Zelle. I couldn't believe that Allstate was already paying me out, I never even told Allstate I had a Zelle account. And I got another email from Allstate at the same time, "asking me for feedback how they handled the claim" survey, like they CLOSED MY CLAIM. This really upset me. I called the adjuster and told him I was so unhappy with the payout, and that it seemed final, already sending me a survey "how did we do"? He asked if the money was really in my bank, I checked while he waited, yes it was. Frank told me in order to get the insurance to pay out more, Collision Doc has to "take apart my car", which might break things, cos it was so old and brittle. Adjuster told me, the payout wasn't final, and to take my car back to Collision Doc. I asked Fernando if I they could try to pop the fender out, from behind. I said I did that myself on another car, and the fender dent popped right back out with no evidence it was ever dented in. Fernando said Yes, it would be $100. Well when I brought my car to Frank and Fernando a second time, not only did their tech pop the fender out, but they discovered that there as more bend and broken damage under the hood, because the fender had pushed those things in, and tweaked or broke them. The tech realigned those bent things by bending them back, and repaired the broken things, and closed the gaps that the impact made. He made it look almost like the car was never hit. When it was done, Fernando quoted me $200, he said "to help me out". He told me to pay the tech directly for his labor. I was sooooo happy, cos what seemed like Allstate didn't pay me enough and no one would do the repairs as cheap as the $1667 that Allstate already sent me, I ended up getting repaired for only $200. The difference is the fender and surrounding door, etc, didn't need to be painted, and I didn't need a new fender. So I was so happy, my car could be repaired almost like it wasn't hit for $200, and I got to keep $1467 of the insurance payout, that had originally seemed to be too little. But Fernando told me I should be happy with the $1667 because my car is almost 30 years old and has 324,000 miles on it, Allstate would be totaling my car if they paid much more, then I would be without a car. I still get to keep my car, and $1467. But it was only because I SUGGESTED THAT THE FENDER BE POPPED BACK OUT, they tried it and it worked to my satisfaction. read more

Justin is my guy at this location, he's very communicative and I genuinely appreciate all the kindness that he gave not only me, but the rest of my family. He updated us from how much time it will be at the shop , what exactly happened , what they need to do from there , ETC. They did such a great job that the Mercedes-Benz dealership told us that they couldn't even tell that the car got into an accident ( we got rear ended on our bumper , it was minor ) We got the car back detailed which I very appreciated. Just like any incident you're going to have to figure out your ride situation so be prepared for renting a car or borrowing a car, whatever your situation is when getting things done to your car! I am always skeptical of auto dealers and body shops just because I always feel like I'm getting ripped off by them due to my lack of knowledge on cars in general. I try to avoid them as much as possible but unfortunately I scraped the front bumper of my car in the morning. I came to CollisionDoc expecting a bunch of word salad from the dealer and probably charge me a tremendous amount of money to fix the scrape. Fernando took one look and said he can polish my car for $60. The best part is that they are half an hour from closing and he was still happy to have it done. I agreed to it and as he promised, he had a worker polish it in no time. The front bumper essentially looks brand new after the polish. I also had a small bump on the rear side of my car. Instead of telling me to do it at his body shop, Fernando referred me to another place for cheaper. In all honesty, Fernando was very down to earth and honest about his business, which is a rare sighting these days for car dealers/body shops. If I would have gone anywhere else, I'm pretty sure they would have told me to change my entire front bumper. I'm so glad I came to CollisionDoc for a quick fix at a reasonable price. Fantastic experience. I asked them to look at the front bumper area on our 20-year old Civic, and give an estimate. They put it on a lift, did some minor tightening/securing of loose stuff, and told me it was not worth getting a new bumper because the car was too old to spend that kind of money on! I came here for a repair for my door and review mirror replacement. I was paying out of pocket. Other quotes I had gotten around the area were significantly higher and needed at least 3 weeks- 1 month. One place even told me they may add an additional 1K through the process. Collisiondoc only took a little over a week to finish everything and it turned out perfect! Everything looks brand new and the paint has a very smooth finish. Justin did everything he could to get the lowest pricing with the best quality for parts, so I paid way less than the initial quote. He was communicating throughout the week with updates and any potential price changes (if anything it was for getting charges dropped). I was going to look around for a car wash and detailing but he threw that in as well for me. Not only is the quality of the service so great, but the customer service here is unmatched. Cheers to Gabriel and Fernando on this Thur. afternoon with my '98 Nissan Altima. I had damaged my outside rear view mirror in a small underground med. office bldg. parking area. I tried to replace it with a new mirror, but the bolts on the 3 screws that hold the mirror in place were original and still on very tight. Fernando had a power tool to remove those bolts, change the mirror, & secure the new mirror; complimentary service in just 8 minutes; a very nice Christmas gift; if I have friends who need body work done, or myself, I'll certainly recommend this Center; they're a great team. read more

Gabriel and the team did an unbelievable job at an accelerated rate. There is no other body shop that I will use in the future. My car is less than a year old, they hit the rewind button on the appearance and brought it back to the state that it was in when it was first driven off of the lot. I also had issues with my brakes being too tight and they fixed the issue that three different toyota dealers failed to accomplish. The best part is that they did in a third of the time that other body shops had quoted me. Do not recommend and I will not use this business again. I initially came in because of the glowing reviews this shop has. I had come in October 2022 to get the passenger side of my front bumper fixed for what seemed like a minor fix. I worked with Gabriel and there was terrible communication the whole time. I was getting the run around about when it would be done and they would not call me when they said they would. After I got it back, the bumper was sticking out a little bit from where it was supposed to snap in place. They fixed it that same day after I came back a second time. I had to bring it back in December 2022 for a third time because it was coming undone even more. The owner Gus tried to make it right by having the whole bumper replaced. I believe it was the brackets that were broken and not holding up the initial repair. During that time they offered me a rental car because I had already spent a lot of money with them for the first repair and because I had to use Lyfts every day, which I appreciated. The communication was better at this time and it still took about a week for the repair to be done, but I had my car back when it was needed before the holidays. Unfortunately, my bumper is still having the same issue of not staying in place and it looks even worse. I have not been in any accidents and there is no damage that has been done to make the bumper keep coming off. I do not understand how after replacing the whole bumper, the issue has not been resolved. I noticed it around December last year and it has been a few months that I have had time to write this review. This does not take away from the fact that bad work is done at this body shop. Shop will not hold accountability for any damages caused while the car is at their facility and will leave you chasing your own tail. Initially brought the car in for rear driver side damage including the wheel. Car had no tire pressure sensor issues prior to bringing it in (car was brought in three weeks after the accident took place). The car is then picked up five weeks later with no pressure readings and the TPMS light comes on the following day. Decided to bring it to discount tire to have them scan each wheel to sync it back to the car and come to find out the sensor of the wheel they repaired is busted. I bring the car back to Collision Doc and they refused to take no further steps but to reset the system, over inflate my tires and send me off. Light comes back on a couple days later and they still refuse to make any repairs until I put factory wheels back on and insist bringing the car to Lexus before they spend any money. Car did in fact have aftermarket wheels but retained OEM sensors which worked perfectly fine and is a very common setup to run for anyone with aftermarket wheels. When confronting the shop their only excuse was "wear and tear" and if any further issues arise while the car was not in my possession it would be out of my own pocket. Eventually got fed up and brought the car to discount tire. The car was done in less than an hour AND all four sensors synced up showing pressure readings before I left the parking lot. Let's not forget that they didn't even bother putting back the clear protective film that goes on the lower corner of the rear door and missed painting a spot inside the door. On top of that they decided to hold the car another week because they wanted $500 to paint a SINGLE thin piece side skirt a basic black. It was not worth my time going back to this place, 5-6 weeks without a car and this is how they return it. read more

Definitely the shop to go to in a crunch. I took my Mustang to BumperDoc after the shop I had prior work done was sold. Eddie D, the GM was the person who I worked with to get my Mustang front spoiler lip installed and secured. Turn around time was a less than a day. He even upgraded the bolt retaining screws that the last shop used. I dropped my car off at 7:30 am and the shop was actually opened on time which is rare for most shops in San Diego. The price of the repair was a 1/3rd of what other shops wanted. I didn't have the tools or lift to fix it myself so I paid BD to do it. Eddie was one of the nicest shop foremans/managers who I ever dealt with. Very professional, friendly, and had that attitude that the customer concerns and suggestions are listened to. Eddie is leaving this location for greener pastures, I wished him and his family the best of luck!
