Absolutely incredible. Best costumer service and repair job I've ever experienced with an auto place before. They gave me the best deal possible with amazing work. Can't recommend this place enough. 10/10 in every way!! read more

My car was hit in a parking lot, while I wasn't even in it. Luckily, the guy was honest and tracked me down. Though drivable, the front end was smashed and had to be replaced. I went to three other repair shops - recommended by my insurance company - and all said they couldn't get the parts to repair my car. I found Bumper Doc here on Yelp and Gabriel was very welcoming and worked hard to source the parts needed to repair my car. It did take several weeks to get everything needed, but they did a great job and it looks like new (where repaired). I love my car and was pushing for repair over having it totaled and paid out. Gabriel worked with the insurance to and got the job done. Very happy with the result and so happy to still have the car I love to drive. read more

Bumper Doc is awesome, they fixed several dings in my wife's Acura last year and so I returned this past week to get my worn out 2005 Tacoma a facelift. They painted the roof and buffed it out and I couldn't be more pleased. Excellent service and price. I highly recommend Bumper Doc, first rate operation. read more

CollisionDoc tried to fix my Bumper and fender but failed to do it 3 times 1st time I was told my car was ready the paint was cracked in multiple places and there were scratches still on the bumper. 2nd time it was supposed to be ready there was a huge scratch/crack on the bottom part of the bumper, Gus, the manager, apologized and offered a rental car to compensate to which I declined and asked for a discount instead in equivalent to the amount for the rental which he agreed to. I was told they would call me when the car was ready to be picked up and i was left for days without contact when i went to call them they told me my car would be ready the following day and another person would tell me that was not ready and i would have to wait. They did not give me a specific day to pick up and i did not hear from them for days. 3rd time i went to retrieve my car i noticed the bumper had 2 pieces of hair under the clear coat. The painter as well as the receptionist agreed they needed to take the bumper off again. By this time i was exhausted of giving them so many opportunities so i requested my money back or a reasonable discount so i could fix my car somewhere else to which i was told only Gus, the manager, was able to issue. i was told Gus, the manager, would be back Tuesday, Oct 4th and would call me but he never did. i contacted them on Oct 6th but he denied the job had defects and requested to see the car again. At this time It's been 15 days and the repair has not been completed. I am dissatisfied with the quality and feel they are not qualified to finish my car. I would also like to mention that 2 out of the 3 times i noticed my car application (kia connect) alerted me when the bumper/headlights/blinker were being worked on but the 3rd time the car was in the shop it did not which makes me think they painted with the bumper on while Gus was out of town. read more

Eddie and his team fixed my bumper in a timely manner. Very reliable and great communication. I would definitely recommend this place!

Extremely unprofessional. Lost my estimate photos and waited over a week just to hear back. Would not recommend under any circumstances.

When we were involved in a fender bender recently, the folks at BumperDoc were lifesavers! Though they took a day longer than their initial time estimated for repair, the end result was flawless and the final bill was the exact amount as the initial estimate. read more

I had used this shop before on a previous vehicle years ago and my experience was nothing but great. I took my car in recently for a headlight repair. First of all they implied that it needs a part to be ordered and would be done in 3-4 days. Almost two weeks worth of me calling in later they finally said it was ready. I show up and it was still in pieces. I go to pay and they try to charge me more labor and almost 100 dollars more than the agreed upon price. When it's finally done, I try to turn the car on and I realize not only they ran the car long enough to run out of gas but also they left the lights on so the battery was dead. So AAA had to be called. I held in my anger, picked up the car and left. Last weekend I was doing some unrelated work on the car which required removing the bumper. Upon taking the bumper off, I find more than half the bumper fasteners either missing or broken and they used random length and non OEM 10mm screws to put the lights back together (see pics). I would go ANYWHERE else for my future body work needs. read more

Dude! Eddie and crew did an amazing job, looks like I have two new door panels!' Ive got a very clean black '14 E 350 my right passenger door caught a deep door ding and two others that were just as noticeable. Rear passenger side had another. Seriously, these guys worked magic and the price was right. I highly recommend Bumper Doc, especially if you're particular about your ride. read more

Been bringing my corolla and accord here both for headlights restorations and I must say that I am very pleased with the results. I also had them remove a huge dent on the door panel on the passenger side of my accord and that one was done in a short period of time. My car looked brand new again once that annoying dent was removed. This location had become too busy compare to the last couple of years I've been there. Before, I just walk in for a repair job and I am out of there in like an hour or two. Now, they suggest to set up appointments because of the volume of cars they have to attend to. I came in around lunch time yesterday and the nice gentleman worked on my car right away.  I felt bad a little because I think he was busy with either working with another car or he was on his lunch break. When their boss asked him if he can do my car, he replied with "whatever you want me to do..." nicely and with no hesitation. I planned on leaving my car and have someone pick me up, but I ended up just hanging around because they worked on my car instantly. Took about 45 mns including the check out procedure (paying and the issuing of the receipt ). I highly recommend this place for headlights restoration and PDR. The reason why I had to deduct one star was because when I came here twice this month, I was not acknowledge or anything when I walked in. It was an awkward couple of mns just standing around there waiting to be approach or ask by an employee. (waiting customers in the lobby but no one was being assisted at the moment I walked in) Other than that, Jessica was nice and the other guy that helped me was not too chatty but alright. Remember, schedule an appointment for faster service or for less wait time. They have free wifi if you decide to wait on your car whie being worked on. The day I came, the employees were grilling burger patties and offered  the customer if they like some. Free coffee as well to keep customers awake I guess. read more

Bumpdoc!! What a stress relief... Wish I could give more than 5 stars. I did damage to my brand new 2020 truck bed on the weekend. I called BumpDoc - Kearny mesa on Monday. Talked to a guy name Eddie, told him my story and bought the truck in. Found out he is the manager. He took one look, gave me a price and said no problem. I'll tell you... it was like I never hit a thing. Most beautiful clean up job!! Thanks Eddie and Bdoc 4 the help. read more

My car has been repaired just fine. I however, would not go back to this shop. I found that the communication was absolutely awful. Other shops I have been to over the years will text me every few days to advise on the status of the repair. This shop gave me NO status updates at all. I had to call them in order to learn anything. In addition, Liana was slow to get paperwork into the insurance company, delaying the return of my vehicle. As I said, car repair fine. Communication poor. read more

I initially set out to visit Bumper Doc on Convoy near my house. Upon arrival I saw they had moved and it is now Collision Doc. I wanted an estimate to see how much it would cost to fix the small amount of damage I had done to my car pulling out of a narrow parking space. I rubbed against the cement pillar holding up the parking garage as I pulled my car out of the space. When I got out to assess the damage, I noticed the creak in my front door due to the front panel being slightly uneven with the door. The only other issue was some white paint from the cement pillar on my door, fortunately it hadn't scratched the paint on my car. I asked for a ballpark figure on how much it would cost to repair the damage. $1500-1800 was the estimate given by Collision Doc. When I asked if they couldn't please just pull the fender a bit so it was even with the door they said no, it was cheaper to replace the whole fender. At that point I drove to an auto body shop which had done repairs for me in the past. They took a rag with some solution and wiped the paint clean in one minute. They then proceeded to pull the fender out until it was even with the door. All of this took a total of less than 3 minutes. You can't even tell I scraped the car at the parking garage. The door opens flawlessly. I'm writing this review due to the blatant unethical practices of Collision Doc. It's sad when people try to take advantage of others. read more

I got a couple of things repaired on my 2011 BMW 3 series vehicle. Collision Doc did a great job on these two issues. They were even kind enough to let me leave my car at their shop while I was out of town for two weeks. Gabriel has excellent communication and customer service skills. He is also very honest, which is a big plus! I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get their vehicle fixed. There is even a lifetime warranty on any repair as well. Came here looking to do fairly extensive work on the side of my car, and chose BumperDoc over other places since they gave me a lower price and promised to do the work in a shorter time. I'm pretty happy with how my car turned out- like it had never been hit! Unfortunately the time estimate didn't account for work not visible to the outside, and I got my car about 5 days after they originally told me it would be ready. However they stuck to the original price rather than increasing the cost, which I really appreciate. Big thanks to Eddie and the BumperDoc team! read more

My experience at collision doc was awesome. The owner was great . Very honest and great pricing. I was told I needed some repairs on my car from another repair shop and it wasn't needed . They saved me some major additional costs.  Needed struts and shocks and they did a great job! Thank you guys so much! If you need auto repair, definitely recommend this place. I had driven my Audi s4 across country when I moved to San Diego from the east coast. Needless to say the journey was taxing on my car. On recommendation I went to Bumper Doc. Not only did they beat a competitor quote by literally thousands of $$ they delivered on their promise with a perfect repair. On top of that they were a "one stop shop" with detailing and making my car good as new!! If you are like me (obsessed with your car) take it to a place that cares. This all started out as a simple bumper fix on a brand new Stinger, but evolved into a weeks long saga that left me with a blemished new car. I needed the front plate holes filled & painted, and some badge damage fixed & painted. I took at least four Ubers there and they gave me one rental car during my weeks long saga with them. Every time I came in to collect my car, there was something else wrong with their work. During one of my visits where I tried to collect my car, his worker that performs paint finishing, gouged the freshly painted bumper, and then claimed it was there before he started when I pointed it out. Even then, he gave me the stink eye for pointing it out. After four attempts, and Eddie buying a brand new grill (nearly $800) after his finisher tried buffing the black chrome he had wet sanded, I decided to just take my car before they did more damage. As it is, the headlights have scuff marks from their buffer, the paint has specks in it, and the clear coat is foggy in multiple areas. Eddie is a nice guy, and tries to do the right thing, but he seems to be surrounded by incompetence of the highest order. I wasn't going to write a review, as I felt bad for him, but recently, about four months later, I noticed their paint job is cracking - it's THAT thin. Now I'm going to have to do what I probably should have done initially, and take the car to a professional paint shop, and spend a lot of money. Lesson learned: you get what you pay for. read more

Bumper Doc Came highly recommended through a number a friends and family after reaching out and receiving a estimate over the phone I had agreed to come down and drop off my aftermarket bumper. Once I arrive I was greeted in a very professional manner And confidence in getting the work done. Bumper doc was able to use my tow hook cover to paint match the entire bumper to perfection 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend and definitely going back for any other work read more

This was my second time getting my windows tinted at bumper doc. The last time the tint lasted about 10 years( granted 5 years were sitting in full sun often throughout the day) until they started to bubble. although not sure if they had lifetime warranty or not on them but I sold the car anyway. Got my windows tinted there again and the tint comes with a lifetime warranty so I was glad to have that. The tint shop looks good so far. No bubbling. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was because they never called me when the tint was done like they said they would so I was sitting around waiting all day at home until I finally had an appointment to get to and went down there. Other than that, everything was smooth. read more

We've had to have our car bumper repainted 3 times. Not sure what the issue is with them getting it correct the first time.... but three times? It's a headache because we moved to North County and they will only honor the "lifetime" warranty at the location you painted it at. At least that is what Escondido told us. Ridiculous. If you don't want to keep coming back to have it painted over and over then go somewhere else. Buyer beware! read more

A DISAPPOINTMENT! We brought our vehicle in and was quoted $3200 to fix "the issue" only to be requested to pay an additional $2500 when the car was previously diagnosed and was informed that no other issues would arise. This didn't sound right and they said oh labor is going to be free. However, labor costs on the bill was $2900. Knowing that they were not being truthful we decided to not move forward as they are mechanics and a true diagnostic would have caught what was wrong. The day went to pick up the vehicle we were charged 1200$ that we had to pay or the car wasn't going to be released. They also left the vehicle in pieces, the engine was torn apart, timing belt, hoses, fan, everything! literally my car looks like a set of legos with oil leaking. I cannot under rate them enough. read more

Eddie is the best! I texted him photos of my messed up bumper before I came in and he provided me with an estimated quote. Once I came in and he could see the real damage he gave me a finalized quote but he still honored the previous quote he gave me. He was very straight forward with me he didn't try to up sell me on anything by trying to tell me I needed to replace the whole bumper.
