Took my car here for rear bumper repair for a bumper hit that occurred on Thanksgiving as well as some paintless dent repair on my rear driver's side door. The work was completed quickly.... but there's a reason why. The bumper was painted ON THE CAR. There's evidence of overspray on some of the non-visible trim pieces. Perhaps the most obvious? The bumper mounting hardware under my hatch was simply sprayed over. The color match was close. My car is red, but the repaired area had a more orangeish tint to it. I was told the car would be "like it never happened" yet, I now have things that were painted that weren't previously. The fitment of the bumper post repair was off where the bumper meets the quarter panel and tail light. They clearly used hot glue to repair some of the mounting aspects (There was a tear drop of hot glue on my tire). This area the fitment was too tight and/or damaged in the incident and had no paint there, or evidence that the area was even attempted to be repaired. On top of this, the bumper's 'shelf' area had specs of dust/grit in the clear coat. I picked up the car last Friday (the 2nd) and intended to bring the work to them for rework this week. However, I was rear-ended yesterday so it's all moot. However, it did give me an opportunity to readily see the repair work. This place is cheaper than other options, but the reason is they take shortcuts. They get +1 because whoever did their paintless repair did a decent job at least. read more

If you want somewhere reliable to bring your car, then bring it here. Came by in a panic because I had dented my left side fender to the point my front door wouldn't open. To replace the parts it would have cost between 1-2k. Eddie squeezed me in right before closing and repaired it on the spot in under 10min free of charge. I can still replace the panel for aesthetic purposes (there is a dent/some scratches) if I choose to down the line, but he fixed the functionality which was my only concern at the moment. Had I taken it elsewhere, I have no doubt they would have ripped me off and NOT told me that this was an alternative solution. He wasn't motivated by money, and that is very rare and refreshing to find these days (especially at car repair shops!) I am referring friends and family here and will absolutely bring my car back when I inevitably need repairs in the future. Was looking for another auto body but by accident stumbled on these guys. Christine and Eddie run the shop and I couldn't have had a better experience. Had a little dent on my hood And all the other auto body shops (got 3 previous estimates around town) quoted me $1000+ price and couple even encouraged to commit insurance fraud so they can fix other things on my car. No one offered me a cheap solution even though I wasn't looking for perfectly painted new hood. I just wanted to make the dent a little less visible, and Eddie came through. this review is for tinting, they do a bunch of other stuff too as you can imagine with a name like bumper doc, they fix bumpers dings and whatnot. They often post deals on Groupon which i took advantage of, although with so many people using the Groupon making an appointment has to be awhile in advance. I was glad to get a good price on the tint but was a bit skeptical because its not a tint shop but primarily a bumper shop. I've seen many cars tinted by car stereo shops that come back riddled with bubbles and then are told "don't worry they bubbles will go away in a few days, just leave it out in the sun" which they do, but just seems sloppy and messy workmanship. Which was my fear. So dropped my car off, was told it would be ready about 2, and they'd give me a call. Got a call about 12, 2 hours ahead of time.. Cool! got the car, there were no massive amounts of bubbles all over the car, just a few spots in corners that i had to look really hard to find.. Im sure these will smooth out in a few days. I went with what was legal on the front all around because i wanted to be able to see out the back. It was a bit lighter than what i wanted, almost seemed like there was no tint at all. But as long as it blocks the UV then im fine. I didn't want it too dark but looking back i guess a shade darker on the back windows would be the way to go. It's so refreshing knowing dudes like these still do business the old fashioned way - HONESTLY. Ryan and Buddy deserve kudos and a definite YELP shout out for a job well done. Well, long story short; some knucklehead broke our side mirror in the parking lot. So, the next day i brought my wifes car to Bumper Doc after finding them on my handy dandy Yelp App for my Droid. They give out FREE estimates. So initially my part was $200, then another $40 for labor, then another $150 for custom paint and refinishing.... Ryan said hold up... we can reuse the old cover, since there were no dings or scratches - and the paint job is already a perfect match. let's knock off the custom repaint and finishing. just pay $200 for the part and $40 for the labor. BONUS! i was stoked. I came back later to pick up the car, Ryan said hold up... we didnt need some of the parts that came with your order - and we dont feel right charging you for those... lets knock off another $15 from the part price. i was like WHAT?!? instead of $240, it came down to like $220. SUPER BONUS! These guys did a stellar job, friendly and professional, and most importantly, stand up honest dudes. Big shout out to Ryan and the awesome folks at Bumper Doc Auto Body Repair! Very courteous, honest, professional, friendly but most importantly, competent staff. That is why we we fork over our hard earned money for, right? I spent the better part of the morning calling around to see if anyone did headlight restoration. I just bought a used car that was in great shape but however, had headlights that had seen better days. They were cloudy and looked as if someone slapped bacon grease across the surface. Ew. Many of the businesses we called didn't want to give us the time of day. Or had about as much knowledge as "is this chicken or fish?" Jessica Simpson. Almost all of them were pretty rude and abrupt on the phone which was very frustrating to say the least. As soon as I called them and asked if I could bring my smashed car via tow truck from Little Italy, they helped me navigate the entire process. I've used this place several times over the years to fix scratches or dents on bumpers. Their prices have always been significantly below estimates I got from other body shops. I found someone had dented my car recently, and left no note. :( I went here first for an estimate, as usual. It was higher than I was expecting (that is, more expensive than it has been in the past, for what I thought were similar bumps). BUT I am in a different car now, which may be more expensive to fix. And when I went to another highly rated place on Yelp for a second estimate, the price was actually just a bit higher. AND they were going to need 3 days to hold onto my car to do the work and let the paint dry, while BumperDoc would do it all same day. I purchased a Groupon in November for my wife's birthday. It was for a windshield repair. She called for an appointment, and the nice lady said if she brings it in at 9 AM Saturday, no appointment was required. Great. She was there this morning at 9 AM. A guy was there writing on the computer. He did not even acknowledge her. After she got his attention, he said they don't do that on Saturdays. She presented her Groupon and he said it was to old.
