A "drive-thru" service in terms of speed. Drive through the towers of tires, and get your tire repaired in about 15 minutes like I did. There were three cars ahead of me (one was finishing up), and they found the nail(s) in my tire, got things patched up, and I was on my way. Quick, friendly (both on the phone and in person), and affordable (thank goodness!). As someone who has an older car and would like to refrain from putting too much money into it (like a new tire!), it was amazing to have this fixed without having to also spend a long time waiting for it to be repaired. read more

I tried this place out today after the tire shop I've used in the past told me I didn't have a warranty on my tire with a screw in it. They said it would have to be replaced and take 2-3 hours. Woke up this morning with a nail in my tire, and I'm so glad I checked Yelp and discovered Tire Express before trying to go all the way to Discount Tire in Mission Valley like that. Tire Express is less than a mile from my house, and I got there at the perfect time, with no one ahead of me. They pointed out the obvious: I at least needed my two very worn front tires replaced, but they didn't pressure me and would've just done the patch if that's all I asked for. Knowing I was overdue to get all four tires replaced, I went ahead and pulled the trigger, in and out in less than 25 minutes. Before heading in, I had done a quick check on the pricing for inexpensive tires for my infrequently driven subcompact car, so I knew the price was in line with what I would pay elsewhere. I came here on a day when San Diego was flooded, and my tire had blown out after traveling three exits on the 805. This shop was the closest tire shop to me and I went there on a completely flat wheel. They literally had formed an assembly line with their employees for people who had tire blowouts, so you could literally drive up, have them take the tire off, someone else put a new tire on, and you were able to get out right away. I was able to drive in without a wait and tell them the issue and within 15 minutes they were able to patch up my tire (all while I was still in my car). They were so efficient, kind, and honest. When I asked if I needed to rotate my tires, they said I was still good for a few months and could rotate them when I got my next oil change. In the end, I spent $15 to patch up the tire.
