The multiple 5-star reviews should tell you all you need to know! I was in need of two new run-flat tires and after "running" all around town, from the car dealer to various discount tires shops, I happened to pass Tire Express, while driving home. I usually pride myself in supporting local businesses and so I could have kicked myself for not thinking of coming to this place first! Jesus was friendly and welcoming. He went over my options and provided me with a very affordable alternative to what I previously found. I immediately scheduled an appointment for the next day, and within a few minutes after arriving, I was driving off with my new tires. Service was fast, reliable, AND affordable. read more

I get my tires rotated every time I change my oil. These guys are always fast and reliable. They let you know the price up front and it's worth the time it saves me. John went the extra mile and even offered to check my brakes to give me a heads up. He also told me about my struts. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend! read more

A "drive-thru" service in terms of speed. Drive through the towers of tires, and get your tire repaired in about 15 minutes like I did. There were three cars ahead of me (one was finishing up), and they found the nail(s) in my tire, got things patched up, and I was on my way. Quick, friendly (both on the phone and in person), and affordable (thank goodness!). As someone who has an older car and would like to refrain from putting too much money into it (like a new tire!), it was amazing to have this fixed without having to also spend a long time waiting for it to be repaired. read more

John, Jose, and Jackson are quick , nice, and give me a great deal. I appreciate their help and support. Thank you!!

I tried this place out today after the tire shop I've used in the past told me I didn't have a warranty on my tire with a screw in it. They said it would have to be replaced and take 2-3 hours. I called Tire Express, they told me to come in after asking what kind of car I have and making sure they had tires for me. They repaired my tire for $25 and it took less than 10 minutes. read more

I love tire express! We have been getting our tires done here for five years now. I have compared the prices with other tire stores and the prices are comparable. I like going here because it's a small business and I always want to support small business. Jose, I believe is the manager and he is so sweet and hospitable. He never makes me feel uncomfortable Because as a woman and sometimes a drag to go to places like this, but he is always so polite and amazing. Everybody who works there is polite and helpful. I highly recommend tire express for your tire needs. Thanks, Tyler express another great job done. read more

An autoshop you can trust with kind workers?? I will be a forever customer moving forward. Jiffy Lube snapped off one of my lug nuts, but basically said it wasn't their fault and I had to go get it replaced somewhere else. All other offers were no joke nearly DOUBLE what they charged me here. And they were so compassionate about what an unfair position I was in. They did quality work in record time. Really have no complaints at all. I went to the Linda Vista location and it was very easy to get to. They have two locations - I would call in advance and ask them which location will accommodate you faster. They were super honest and reliable about this. Thank you for your help! read more

Chuy was so nice and helpful, all four tires were replaced within 20 minutes of pulling in and the price was less than half of what I expected. Amazing place!!! read more

Woke up this morning with a nail in my tire, and I'm so glad I checked Yelp and discovered Tire Express before trying to go all the way to Discount Tire in Mission Valley like that. Tire Express is less than a mile from my house, and I got there at the perfect time, with no one ahead of me. They pointed out the obvious: I at least needed my two very worn front tires replaced, but they didn't pressure me and would've just done the patch if that's all I asked for. Knowing I was overdue to get all four tires replaced, I went ahead and pulled the trigger, in and out in less than 25 minutes. Before heading in, I had done a quick check on the pricing for inexpensive tires for my infrequently driven subcompact car, so I knew the price was in line with what I would pay elsewhere. Great service and convenience. I wish I had discovered them sooner! read more

Highly recommend this place! The staff is very friendly, and super helpful. I had a good sized nail in my tire, and they fixed it within 5 minutes! No need for replacement. Excellent service, super inexpensive and super efficient. They also checked and aired up all of my other tires as well. read more

I stopped in here to get a new set of tires after getting a quote over the phone. Thing is, when I showed up someone else was there and quoted me way more. I said no thanks since they were changing their prices and it felt like they were pulling a fast one on me. The salesman stopped as I was backing out and made me a final offer we could agree on. They changed our the tires really quickly and things are much better now but the changing prices leaves me a bit weary... read more

I saw the great reviews this place had on their yelp and decided to send a message requesting a quote, since I was in need of a full set of tires. I got a reply from Bob a few days later, with a set quote that seemed too good to pass! I stopped by the shop that same day, and sure enough, I only paid what I was quoted!! The service was excellent, and everyone was very friendly! I was in and out in 45ish minutes, for a full set of 4. we tires! I would highly recommend for your tire needs, as the value is great for the quality you receive. read more

I came here on a day when San Diego was flooded, and my tire had blown out after traveling three exits on the 805. This shop was the closest tire shop to me and I went there on a completely flat wheel. They literally had formed an assembly line with their employees for people who had tire blowouts, so you could literally drive up, have them take the tire off, someone else put a new tire on, and you were able to get out right away. I was extremely impressed that I was there less than 20 minutes which I appreciated because it was completely pouring. read more

Great service, great prices and extremely friendly staff. I'd highly recommend this shop for new or used tires!

Son moved to San Diego year ago. Called today and mentioned he got a nail in his tire. Was researching tire places and I checked my friendly yelpers in San Diego and pointed me to Tire Express. He was concerned about business of area and getting onto the lot. He showed up, guy jumped out and steered him in, fixed the tire in 15 minutes for $20. Also told him he had starter issue from the codes. Great job boys, no brainer tire spot. read more

I recently had a flat tire with a screw puncture and I'm so glad I found Tire Express! I was able to drive in without a wait and tell them the issue and within 15 minutes they were able to patch up my tire (all while I was still in my car). They were so efficient, kind, and honest. When I asked if I needed to rotate my tires, they said I was still good for a few months and could rotate them when I got my next oil change. In the end, I spent $15 to patch up the tire. Definitely would recommend coming here if you're in a pinch, but also to check out their tires! I'd love to see what their prices are like the next time I shop for tires read more
