Sidney @ V-Tint is by far the most unprofessional and unskilled tinter I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. She has no idea how to run a business or tint cars. I reached out to her and asked if she specifically had experience working with C6 Corvettes and she said she knew all about them and was a great tinter and would do such a good job, etc... Well that could not have been more false. She delayed the pick up time for my car until it was already dark outside so that I couldn't see the mistakes right away. The next morning I kindly messaged her and let her know of a few issues and asked when I could get them fixed. She told me to give the tint a week and it will go away...Not sure how hair and dirt in the tint would go away but I said okay. A week later I reached out to her again and said no dice, the tint still has the issues. She then became hostile and berated me, hung up on me, yelled at me, etc... Said I wanted her to work for free, said I don't understand anything about tint, and then told me to take her to small claims court. She then kept texting me and harassing me for an hour. So enough about how terrible of a business woman she is...Let's get to the issues with the tint.... Well, where do I even begin? The back window has dirt, hair, creases, bubbles, and small tears all over it. I've never seen a worse tint job. The driver side window is alright. There is some dirt between the film and some small bubbles. The passenger window has a pretty large hair in it and it was cut too short on the bottom so with the window fully rolled up you can see right into the car. Who even told Sidney she could call herself a tinter? I could have done better myself. I'm having another shop take off her terrible tint and re-do it all for the same price she scammed me for. Anyways...Paperwork already filed, I'll see you in Court Sidney. I know you tell everyone to take you to court because you think they won't spend the time well I've got nothing but time. read more

Sidney is awesome!!! I have had some bad tint jobs in the past...look good at first and then end up bubbling and fading pretty bad. Sidney (VTINT) is great!! Her prices are super reasonable and the job she does is outstanding! She works right out of her garage and does one car at a time. I saw the good reviews on Yelp and decided to give this place a try. She seemed to know what she was doing. My god was she a rude woman. She had tinted my car and I came back to inspect it. I had paid 240 out of my pocket ( I make 11 bucks an hour and am a full time student so this money does not come easy mind you) so I wanted the tint to look good. The first thing she says is "don't look at it that closely!! Who does that? As long as it looks good from afar". Man I knew right then and there this was going to be a bad experience. I then pointed out to her that the back was unacceptable, she had failed to properly clean the window and put tint OVER some residue on my window. This created ugly bubbles and when I mentioned it, she said that it to go away in 2 weeks and to come back then. I didn't want to fight this "professional" so I said ok. But if it doesn't go away, I need it redone or money back. She said ok. I come back 2 weeks later, I not satisfied and she says that it was MY FAULT I didn't clean the Windows. I'm sorry, I'm paying you to clean the damn window and put a tint on it. She then pulled the "take me to the small claims court" and told me I'd have to pay an extra $35 for the court order. No lady. I will not waste hours of my extremely busy time going to court with y over something I didn't do wrong. She had the audacity to raise her voice at me and say excuses like " I tried my best, I always want to do great for my customers." Well if you want to do good, then give me atleast a full refund for my back windows. But no, she settled that $100 was enough for the whole back window and proceeded to tear the tint off with no heat gun. For you guys that don't know, TINT GLUE REMOVAL IS $100 on its own. My goodness I had to pay another $200 to get my new tints and the glue off of my car. Thank you lady, for not only being extremely rude and in cooperative, but costing me an additional $100 for no reason at all. At least have the audacity to remove the tint "professionally" with a heat gun to not get a lot of glue residue on my back windows. Not only can I not remove it myself but if I try, I'll return my defroster lines. I do not wish for you to stay in business. Her "life time warrantee" means absolutely nothing because it's HER DECISIONS if it's worth redoing or not, not yours. PLEASE don't listen to the good reviews, pay an extra $40 at an ACTUAL shop and get it done professionally. At the very least get better customer service. read more

Worst tint job ever. Bubbles and creases in tint. Even though was told if unhappy lifetime guarantee not true. Was told to wait a month then come back if unhappy. Poor customer service. Received no paperwork or anything from her other than business card. Do not go unless u like bad work at unprofessional business.she claims to use lunar tint but she is full of crap. Ask her for a warranty card!! Any Lyme tint dealer will give u a warranty card. She puts garbage tint in a lunar box then uses cheaper film!! Go to a reel tint shop. This place is a joke!! The lady at V-Tint (Sidney) works out of her home in Concord. To put it mildly, I did not have a good experience with Sidney. She is not particularly "detail oriented" in the quality of her workmanship. The lifetime warranty she claims to provide on both materials and labor apparently ends when she collects your money (she only takes cash). And when things aren't going her way, she exhibits "verbal diarrhea." She was hour late for our 11:30 install appointment, and an hour late delivering the car. When I got there to pick up the car at 7:00 PM, she talked about how fabulous the car looked, and how it took her a lot longer to do the work than she thought because the car was so filthy (ouch - I agree the car needed an exterior wash, but I thought the interior was in pretty good shape). But when I tried to inspect her work, she said I needed to leave because it was late and she had to "get going." She also said not to call her for 3 weeks, since it takes that long for the tint to cure. When I got home, I called her with a question about the tint color. But instead of answering my question, I got a stream of verbal babble (your car looks great, you got a great deal, you should be grateful for the work I have done, etc.) which concluded with the statement that I should call her in 3 weeks, followed promptly by her hanging up the phone. The next day when I inspected the tint, I noticed several areas where the tint was damaged. I also realized that while being pushed out the door the night before, I was not given a receipt. So despite being within the 3 week window, I risked giving Sidney a call. Once again, I got a stream of verbal babble (apparently Sidney feels that the person who talks the most / loudest gets their way), but eventually she calmed down and agreed to give me a receipt and take a look at my car. Her rationale for not giving me a receipt the day before was that I didn't ask for one. We set a time to meet the next weekend, and she even offered to come to my house to look at the car. However, the day we were scheduled to meet, she called to cancel saying she was tied up with another customer (oh well, so much for the personalized service). So we rescheduled to meet at her place the following weekend. We met as planned, but Sidney already had an attitude even before looking at my car. She gave me a receipt, but after taking a quick glance at the damaged sections of the tint, she claimed that the damage was due to the age of my car (huh?) and that I was being anal. She then went on to spew a stream of verbal babble / insults and informed me that she had no intention of making any repairs to my car (so much for the lifetime warranty), and that if I wanted to pursue this, I should take her to small claims court. If then asked if she had ever repaired any installs under her lifetime warranty, to which she replied,"That's none of your business" (geez, I thought it was relevant, but I guess Sidney knows best). She then told me to immediately get off her property, or she would call the police. I told her it was OK with me if she called the police, so she then changed her mind and said she would have some of her friends come over to "take care of me" instead. She then placed a call to someone and told them to get to her place immediately to take care of an irate customer (that's funny - Sidney was the one who was irate, not me. I just wanted to get my tint fixed). Well I wasn't OK with having one of Sidney's friends "take care of me," so I called the police. Eventually Sidney, the policeman and I had a nice conversation about how we would resolve this matter in Small Claims Court, and Sidney agreed that she would not send any friends over to my house to visit. So i showed up in my muddy beat up work truck, she provided me with washing utensils to clean the windows because they were extremely dirty, after i gave them a quick spit shine Sidney started to work her magic and roughly an hour or two went by and she was done tinting all 8 of my windows. i was extremely happy with her work!
