I called my dealership to see if they could fix it unfortunately for my model car being older they did not make it anymore but they referred me to IQ Auto Glass and one other spot. TLDR: Great company with a really nice receptionist (Hi Blinky!!) who went out of their way to help me put an OE windshield into my car despite my insurance company initially saying they wouldn't. The process was easy, the work was timely, and communication was ideal. Highly Recommend. Background: After a large crack developed across the windshield of my Audi, I searched around to find a glass company that I could trust to do a good job and advocate for me with my insurance company. I wanted Original Equipment (OE) windshield installed, but my insurance (State Farm) said they would only pay for aftermarket. I could get OE, but I would have to pay the difference (about $500 more). I called 4 different companies, and the gentleman from 50/50 took the time to explain how the insurance companies work and that most of the time Aftermarket and OE glass are equally safe. I felt much more comfortable after speaking with him. I felt like he really had my best interests at heart. We left it that he would talk to the company about OE glass and see if they would cover it, but if they still denied it, we would go with the aftermarket version. Two days later, 50/50 called to tell me the OE glass was approved, and they would have the windshield available for install the next day. I brought the car in at 11:15 and picked it up at 13:00. Easy process, everything was done beautifully. I couldn't be happier with 50/50 Extreme and would take any of my vehicles to them. The Good: They actually care about their customers. Took a lot of time explaining the process to me. Very clean shop. Centrally located in Concord. They are members of the Auto Glass Safety Council and BBB - both of which I respect because they have to maintain certifications to be part of either. Great workmanship and attention to detail. When it comes to servicing my cars, I take it very seriously. I learned to just pay the dealership their money as they have the tools and warranty to back it up. However, when doing research for windshield replacement, i discovered that some dealerships outsource this work. Whether it's true or not, I didn't want to take the risk, so I did due diligence on the best installer. As you can see on the pics attached, the previous installer did a terrible job. He used glue, large screws and wrong parts that ultimately led to rusting underneath. Adam and team came to the rescue by restoring and grinding the rust underneath and replaced the windshield with proper, professional installation. Adam essentially made it as if it just came from the factory as he also used OEM parts. I appreciated how he was upfront with the type of work and the pricing. It's not cheap, but you get the best, quality service ever so you definitely get what you paid for. Binky was awesome with coordination and scheduling. Very responsive and follow ups promptly.
