We needed to have the windshield on our motorhome replaced and the team from BaySide auto glass came to our location in Rancho Cordova (East of Sacramento) yesterday afternoon to replace it. They called at 1:00 and told us they were on their way. After arriving a couple hours later they quickly got to work. They removed the old glass pane without incident and got the new one installed and sealed up. We sincerely appreciate their hard work as it helped save our Christmas plans by allowing us to leave on time and get to our Family gathering on Christmas eve. Your Team was amazing! Thank you for a great job!

    Mobile service

Out of 6 local quotes BaySide was the most competitive. I called and they were able to come same day for a chip repair. Very professional and quick mobile service!!

I had an appointment at 10am Friday and they called me asking if I wanted to come in earlier, great that's awesome. They had the car done in about 2.5 hours with all the sensors calibrated. I have a mirror mounted radar with a mirror power tap and they made sure it was absolutely perfect when I got it back. Jose, you're awesome.

Safelite damaged a critical part of the ADAS on my vehicle. It will cost over $3k to fix…read more It took three appointments and over a month and a half for Safelite to finally obtain the correct glass for my car. This is because my car is an E400, but Safelite categorized it as an E550 and were obstinate about ordering E550 glass, regardless of photographs of the car showing it is clearly an E400. "Dario" from the front desk kept pawning responsibility off to others, while "Irma" from the front desk condescendingly told me that I must have inputted the wrong VIN when scheduling the appointment. Meanwhile, a third woman at the front desk assured me my deductible wouldn't be charged until the correct glass was found. Instead, they charged my credit card twice: once for my first failed appointment in March, and then again at the end of April when the correct glass was finally obtained. (They then reversed the second charge.) Before Safelite touched my car, the only issue was a crack. But once they replaced the glass, the ADAS system went offline. They told me the calibration was a success.' After the ADAS error lights failed to go away, I took the car back to Safelite for them to recalibrate the system. After an hour and a hushed conversation between the tech and Dario, Dario told me how proud they were of themselves for getting me the correct glass! But... oh yeah, we can't do the recalibration, so you'll have to go somewhere else. He blamed a third-party provider for the issue. Dario told me to sign liability release paperwork which he explained would prove to the insurance company that Safelite could not perform the job, and therefore I would be free to take it to the dealer or another shop authorized to do the recalibration. I asked for a copy of the paperwork but he was reluctant to give it to me. After multiple requests, I finally got a copy. Safelite then charged my insurance company twice for the failed recalibration. They did not send the insurance company the paperwork admitting they had failed the recalibration. I sent my insurance company the paperwork which Dario had been reluctant to give me so that they would allow me to seek correction elsewhere. The shop that is now working on my car discovered that the failure in the ADAS is that the forward-facing camera in the windshield is broken. It was operational before I took my car to Safelite, and now it is broken. Draw your own conclusions. In order for the ADAS to work properly, this expensive camera must be replaced. Safelite would have been able to see this on the error codes when they attempted the second recalibration. Instead, they blamed a third-party, saying the "system" was overloaded that day. (If just that day, why wouldn't they have suggested coming back another day instead of telling me to go elsewhere?) Again, draw your own conclusions!

It is like I'm proud they became a success and hopefully Yelpers have been supporting his business! In all of my reviews, I try to find the BEST of the BEST, ones that go above and beyond, good hard-working owners, local or family businesses, good honest pricing and just good people! When I find them, I shout it to the mountaintops! This is one of these businesses. I am a loyal YELPER to those I find that are good so I came back when my daughter's car cracked her windshield which was spreading! AGAIN this guy was about 30.( due to they had a big discount sale, otherwise not even close)-100. and 200.cheaper than the rest of the estimates she received! I told her go to my guy on Yelp and he came in the cheapest, could see us right away ( sadly, no mobile service anymore, but customers told him they wanted to bring it in a location) and was done in an hour. Work was neat and done. Went very smoothly. It is right next to Costco and near Ranch 99, so did my grocery shopping in that hour so it is convenient too! They take cash, Venmo and credit cards too. It cost me 270. for a full Honda Accord windshield including labor ( which at dealers and other places can run up to 500. PLUS easily JUST for a windshield NOT including labor!) and they already had a new one available on the premises and didn't have to wait to get. It is a father and son team which I like to support family businesses! They did a great job and my other car is still holding strong and both times you can't even tell the windshield or window has been replaced! Trust me on this one- this is one of the good guys!

Clear communication is always appreciated so I could set up the car for the right location because I live on a hill and we needed a flat surface (which we found next door at a parking lot near my house). They did a meticulous job of getting the right balance and removing the window as well as letting me know how long it would take, what conditions to not wash the car or move it after, and also helped get OEM parts and recalibrate the window perfectly. Cost was a positive as they worked with the insurance company - llaison (A+ Auto Glass) to get this covered under insurance. I even asked for a little adjustment and they came right away immediately and even showed me how to do it myself. These guys have some exceptional service and highly recommend Dustin and Joe to other people if you have any issues with glass repair for auto/trucks.

I didn't hear anything from anybody until the day of the appointment, when two guys showed up in my driveway. They introduced themselves by first name, did the work, and only after it was done did I find out that they weren't the same company at all. Some other company with a name in Spanish that (after googling I found out) translates to "I don't give a s***" or "f*** off." That company was not listed on any search or review sites. And now the insurance company might have some problems on the glass claim. This also makes me think they're not gonna stand by the work if any problems come up, and probably didn't use the best glass quality either. You might wanna think twice before dealing with GOTG. Or else, get your car serviced by two randoms and get no insurance coverage.
