The stars go on with you for subcontractor installing the windshield. Experienced lack of communication and extremely rude response from the gentleman answering the phone (never introduced himself few times I've called). From the moment I've called and explained the needs of the model, make, year and sensors, upper blue sun-blocking line, answered a few additional clarification questions I got the quote, which was somewhere similar to local competitors. This business has the closest location so I've decided to go with them, explaining that I will not be home during the installation, my wife will open the vehicle, control, QA check and pay. Technician arrived in time and called as agreed. Few minutes into the installation I'm getting a call for additional part needs (rubber sealant) with additional cost to total. OK, happens, however please mention same during the quote. Most cars have them and most of them need them replaced along with the windshield replacement. No problem. Called the office to advice for the future to meet customer expectations for which I've listened how to run business for past 10 years and that the business model will NOT change, meaning the customer has to swallow it. Without given an opportunity to insert a single word into the conversation I have requested to cancel the job. Got busy with work and this message was not delivered to my wife. Unfortunately my request was not communicated to the technician and windshield was installed with all the parts needed. My wife payed originally agreed amount and technician left. After returning from work I've noticed that windshield is installed assuming properly (haven't checked for the air or water leakage yet), by far not OEM as advertised during the quote and is missing the upper blue line (which was on the original, removed one). If you're in the bay area, and you're looking at reviews, keep this place in mind. It might not have the most reviews, but it should be up there with the rest of them. Overall, I had a great experience. I had a windshield replaced quickly and haven't had any issues. My only recommendations: A) Have a cleaning aspect added to your service. My vehicle should be as clean as when I had it serviced. This is something that seems to be non-standard in the industry, which could be a real selling point if implemented. A light clean/vacuum would do wonders. B) Align on expectations. As a first-time windshield repair customer, I expected the same as what I had before. I did come to understand that not everything would be exactly as it was before after speaking with customer service as well as the technician. I did research which confirmed everything they told me. The only way to have everything appear the way it was beforehand would be to have an OEM repair which will cost a pretty penny. read more

I ended up replaced the windshield with Pilkington glass which was exactly what I wanted instead of Fuyao. I went on yelp looking for somewhere to have my windshield replaced on my vehicle. auto glass force was cheaper by about $40 than the other ones and they had good reviews. So I went with them they responded quickly and I had an appointment the next day. They showed up to the appointment within the timeframe they gave me. They showed up they seemed fine they replaced my windshield and when they were all done I went outside to pay them. I approached my car from the passenger side and looked at the work they're done and I glanced over to the other side and it looked fine. I paid them cash and I asked for a receipt and the guy told me that his boss would email me one,which he did. They left I went into the house to get something came back out and as I approached the driver side I ran my hand up the side stripping next to the window and I felt a crack and it was covered up with the blue tape that they put on the window, obviously to hide it. I immediately called the guy who replaced my window and told him that he had cracked the side trim and he acted as if he did not know what I was talking about and I said you know what I'm talking about because you covered it up with tape you need to come back here and look at it. He continue to play dumb so I told him I'm just gonna call your boss. I called his boss but he had called him right after I had spoke to him so his boss thought that he was calling to tell him( his boss)what he did but he was only calling his boss because I found the crack and I told him that I was calling his boss. Otherwise I'm for sure that he would've never told his boss what he did. His boss , Raymond , i think that's what his name was said that he would have him come out and fix it the next day. they did come out, started to replace the side that wasn't damaged and my husband told him why don't you leave that alone it's not anything wrong with it. the technician told my husband the side panels come in a pair so we are going to replace them both. Again he cracked the side panel and didn't say anything and this time it was on the other side that didn't need to be replaced. I again called his boss Raymond and Raymond said we will have someone out there on Saturday to fix it but no one showed up. So on Monday I waited for a phone call but never received one so I called Raymond( the boss). And I asked him why didn't no one show up and what's going on and he said we will have someone come out there on Wednesday to fix it. So on Wednesday no one showed up so I called Raymond and asked what's going on and he said his technician had an emergency. That's understandable but why was I not even called and notified of the situation so I can let the person know who was waiting at my house for this technician to show up to let them know that they could leave because I was at work and I could not be there. So I talked to Raymond and Raymond told me that he would have a technician come out on the following Monday but I told Raymond that I was going to be out of town for the next week and I would be back Friday and I would call him and schedule an appointment for them to come fix my car and he said OK. On The Friday before I was supposed to leave on vacation for the week I was at work and his technician calls me and tells me I'm sorry I'm not going to make it to your house today to fix your window because there's so much traffic on the freeway I'm not gonna make it and I told his technician no one told me you were even coming this Friday anyway and I'm at work with my car. Talk about lack of communication. So the technician said he would be out there Saturday between eight and 10 and my husband who also works on Saturday said he would wait for the technician to come between eight and 10 but he couldn't wait after that. So at 7 AM I called the technician and I said are you on your way he sounded like he was still in bed half asleep and said yeah yeah and that was it. He showed up about almost 10 o'clock and he changed the side panels on my window again. This time he did not crack them but they weren't fixed correctly. Pics below So my suggestion to anybody who reads this is go with somebody else because obviously this technician , so he's called , seems like he does not know what he's doing. I will never ever use these people again obviously. I wish I would've went somewhere else. they don't give a shit about their customers at least they didn't give a shit about me. They acted as if I had no reason to be upset , they wasted my time, I lost money from staying home from work to wait for these people to come to fix my windshield. Do NOT use this business. If you decide to, stand there and watch them and check it thoroughly. That where I made my mistake. If I would have seen the damage they did in the first place I would've never paid them until it was fixed correctly. read more

Called and made an appointment with the Concord location for a few days out. They provided a 3 hour window of arrival after validating what I needed. The technicians had not called or arrived so I contacted the shop as they were now outside of the appointment window. I was told they would check in for an ETA and call back. Approx 50 minutes later the tech called to say they've arrived. They asked for the keys and 30 minutes or so to replace the windshield. Approx an hour later I went to go check in and one of the techs was watching videos on his phone while the other and the van was no longer near the car. I asked if everything was ok and was told they had the wrong windshield and had to go get one from Hayward. A bit frustrated at the lack of communication I asked him to provide me with an eta. I was told '5 minutes'. An hour later the car was done, just shy of 3 hours outside of the appointment window end. Things that stood out was the lack of professionalism, communication, and any customer service. And for these reasons, I cannot recommend them. read more

I had a very positive experience from quote to fixing the problem. Naj was very responsive to my questions and provided satisfactory answers, which helped me move with them. Thee were some hiccups with first technician's abilities to fix my C250 window regulator as person was not able to complete job. I discussed with Naj and he understood the concern/challenge and assigned a senior technician (John) and he replaced the regulator and window is functioning well. I received a quote (speedy response and cheapest quote). I was a little sceptic and was looking for the scam and told him that I lived in the Napa/American Canyon area which was far from their shop. AGF advised that they had a technician in the area and that they could be there within an hour. They reassured me that the price quoted was the price out the door and that there wasn't any hidden fees. It's normal to look at places such as Safelite or other big name places for your glass repair and i honestly thought I was going to pay 300+ for my windshield no matter what... In this economy?! Friggin woof. A simple yelp search and call to action brought me to Auto Glass Force. Several companies responded by they were all in the 250+ range but AGF was FAR cheaper than any other that responded and offered some great perks with my windshield replacement. I set up an appointment for Monday they came within the time window, one of my technicians name was Rudy and he was friendly and respectful then had my front windshield replaced within 30mins or so. The owner i spoke to a few times on the phone and he too was very polite. It really took some stress off my back as I had a really annoying crack that was steadily growing now I have a beautiful windshield and I'm ready to hit the streets. My car was broken into yesterday in Oakland around 8PM. I was stressed and didn't know where I would finD a place that would replace my left passenger window and vent window before work at 2pm.
