I called Crystal Clear with the hopes they would be willing to remove a 10-year old PPF that had started to fail. Brought my Model 3 in to get some PPF done and Abraham is really good, he noticed that I had PPF done to the whole front end and that it was not wrapped around the edges. Since Abraham uses Xpel PPF the price is pretty good for the amount of time and detail put into the work. I made an appointment with him on a Friday not knowing that he is usually unavailable due to personal reasons but he is quite accommodating with my schedule. After we got our sparkling new Model Y and after pouring through internet forums, I was convinced that I was in need of a clear bra/PPF for at least the front bumper. My kids call the Model Y a beluga whale since it really has no front grill. It's just all bumper. I got huge sticker shock after sending out quotes to multiple shops. Prices ranged anywhere from $450 to about $1,200 just to do the front bumper. Wow! Just for ish and giggles I also asked pricing to PPF the entire car. $5,000 to $11,000!!! Yeah, no. Still, I was convinced that I should at least protect the front bumper. I ordered a $200 self install kit and tried my hand at it. Huge fail. Way harder than I expected. Luckily, the vendor sent me the wrong part and agreed to refund me 50%. Lesson learned. I found Abraham of Quartz Detail through Yelp. I was a little worried about his lack of Yelp reviews but I reached out to a previous Tesla customer and he was satisfied with his work. So I booked Abraham. I had a hard time scheduling my car due logistics (my doing). I asked and he agreed to do mobile service for me. Sweet! He would come over and work on my car while I was toiling away at spreadsheets galore. Abraham came over and explained what he was gonna do in detail. I can tell he enjoys what he does and is dedicated to getting his business going. He is Xpel certified and came with all the tools to do the job right. Polishes, machines, gels, and even race ramps! Took him about 4 hours but I was more than satisfied with the end install. A week later and it still looks great. Now, let me be clear. Similar to most shops I got quotes from, the Tesla front bumper required a couple of seams due to its curves. But Abraham hid them pretty well and even tucked some of the precut where he could. For the areas where it couldn't be tucked, the film came very close to the edges. If you don't want any seams, head down to Fremont (you know where) and prepare your credit card for a $1,200 charge. Abraham's prices were very reasonable, especially considering he got me mobile service. Obviously, you'll need a clean enclosed garage to benefit from mobile service. You don't want dust and debris to get stuck in the PPF. Give Quartz and Abraham a call. Great guy, great work. And do yourself a favor and do the mobile service. read more

It took two full separate days but Abraham was very accommodating and was willing to work with my schedule. The main thing is Abraham very meticulously applied my vinyl front license plate to a slightly curved surface, taking measurements and making (removable) marks to make sure it was perfectly centered and level, and had no air bubbles underneath the plate. He was also very quick to respond to my request for a quote and answered all my questions in the first reply, correctly estimating it would cost $100 and take 15-20 minutes. The only thing I would add is that the site says credit cards are accepted, which is true, but he added 3.5% because a credit card was the only form of payment I could offer. On Friday 07/01/22 my wife and I phoned Crystal Clear Protection and Wraps based upon good reviews written on Yelp. Unfortunately we don't have a single good thing to say about CCP&W or Abraham. Per our Friday conversation Abraham told us he could install the clear protection on our new RAM TRX on Tuesday 07/05/22. He requested we bring the truck in at 9:30am and asked for a credit or debit card deposit to hold that appointment. The requested deposit to hold our appointment was given to Abraham and we thought we were all set to go. On Tuesday 07/05/22 my wife and I arrived at CCP&W just before 9:30am. We met with Abraham, discussed what was the best protection for the TRX and agreed to many more applications than originally planned such as ceramic coating and additional areas to be covered by the protective film. We agreed to a price and Abraham told us the process would take several days to complete and the truck would be ready by late Friday, 07/08/22. I was very clear we needed the truck no later than Friday night for our trip to Southern California. On Thursday, 07/07/22 at 1:45pm my wife received a text message from Abraham stating, "I don't think car will be finished tomorrow. I will touch base on Monday". My wife saw the text at 4:45pm and I immediately phoned CCP&W and spoke with Abraham. Abraham told me he would not be able to finish the truck until next week. I told him that was not acceptable and we had an agreement for the truck to be finished by Friday evening. Abraham told me he had a family issue that required him to take a day away from the shop. I asked Abraham how far he had progressed on the wrap and was unable to answer. I asked Abraham if he had done anything at all to the TRX per our argeement. He totally evaded answering my question. I then asked him if he applied any film whatsoever to the truck and he replied, "no". I asked Abraham, "how could that be possible if you had the TRX in your shop for 3 days which equaled a minimum of 24 hours that the truck could have been worked on". Abraham could not answer my question. I told Abraham my wife and I would pick up the TRX immediately due to his lack of performance. With that said, I knew Abraham had taken in some "quick cash" work and avoided my project due to the scope of our contracted work. Once we were at the shop to pick up the truck, Abraham agreed he had taken in other work that was quick and not as labor intense as ours. In essence, my wife and I are totally disappointed and disgusted by the lack of the agreed time constraints and contractual performance to protect our truck. This entire event with Abraham and CCP&W was a complete waste of time and money making 2-30 mile round trips with 2 vehicles to end up with nothing. In addition, we won't be able to drive the TRX to Southern California and now have to find a 4 door truck to rent so my family and I can make the trip to So Cal and transport several items. Personally, I would not recommend Abraham and CCP&W to anyone due to a total lack of integrity and inability to perform the task the company promises to complete professionally and on time. I see Abraham replied to my negative review, showing his dishonesty, lies, and unprofessional business attitude.. Abraham was partially correct in his reply "he did not touch this customer's vehicle". He had our truck for 3 days to complete a "2 day" job. He did absolutely nothing to the truck even though we had an agreement to exchange money for services to be completed in a specified time. Abraham never asked for an additional day to complete the work, but he did want to keep the truck into next week to finish the job. Yesterday after his text and during our phone call, Abraham offered to partially complete the wrap only on areas he felt were more vulnerable than other areas, and for me to return our truck to him next week to complete the rocker panel wrap and ceramic coat. I told him I am driving one of the most debris filled roads, Interstate 5, with rocks, big rigs, and scattered debris all over that is pretty much a guarantee for road damage! When I left his shop Thursday evening I promised him I would write a negative review for his lack of service on Yelp, Facebook, and other social media site. As I was backing my truck out of his shop, Abraham told me he would do "whatever he needed to do so I would not write a negative review on Yelp". I told him he should have thought about that before neglecting our truck. I further told him he wasted my time, money for fuel, and now I had to rent a truck for the So. Ca. drive. When I arrived home I did and internet search for a truck rental. Enterprise rented "quad cab trucks" and the weekly rate was $1312.09. Based upon this rental cost, the time and money I had already spent, I messaged Abraham asking for a $1500 discount on our truck wrap to compensate our out of pocket expense. There was NO BLACKMAIL as stated, but a response to his wish to make things right. read more

Abraham (Quartz's Owner) spent two days washing and paint correcting my Range Rover SV Autobiography before spending another week and a half applying Xpel Ultimate Plus PPF to the entire vehicle followed by a ceramic/graphene coating on every surface, including the brake calipers and wheels. Ten days later, Abraham spent another 2 hours giving the vehicle its first wash and correcting any minor imperfections with the PPF. When Abraham was done, the vehicle looked brand new, except it now has full PPF, which is invisible to the eye due to Abraham's close attention to detail. I contacted three other local shops before selecting Quartz. Pricing was relatively comparable. All four were in the $7K - $8K range. The difference between Quartz and the other shops was that Quartz was willing to provide a truly custom install. The three other shops insisted that I remove the Range Rover badging in the front and rear of the vehicle and purchase new badging. The reason given was that this would provide a much better and seamless look, because reusing the individual letters may not come out looking like originally installed. On a typical Range Rover, this may be an option for some (myself included) who don't mind spending an extra few hundred dollars on new badging for a cleaner look. On my SV model, where each letter cost $134, spending an extra $2,680 on new badging was not an option for me. I have slightly more sense than money. I ended up going with Abraham because he was willing to do the install without removing the badging, which took a lot more work/time than simply removing/installing new badging. Abraham was very responsive and extremely meticulous in his work. He kept me up to date throughout the entire process with photos and videos. Even though Quartz's pricing was comparable to other reputable shops in the area, the truly custom install that I received provided extra value in my opinion. I called Crystal Clear Protection & Wraps (CCPW) this past Saturday inquiring about window tint removal for my front two windows and windshield. The owner Abraham answered directly the first call, without me needing to play voicemail tag. The other two highly rated businesses that showed they were open at the time (~11:30 am) that I called the same day before calling CCPW went to voicemail... I left a voicemail for each, and neither ever even made an effort to contact me as far as I can tell, strangely enough. Anyway, Abraham was great, and he offered me what I thought was a reasonable price to have the tint removal performed, and even offered to remove it the next day, a Sunday!! So that's what I scheduled. Abraham arrived at his shop on-time and did the removal this past Sunday in less than an hour, probably around 40 minutes (underpromised and overdelivered, he said about an hour), and allowed me to wait on-premises in a comfortable seat while he worked. It was kind of cool to see a few aspects of the removal. He was very friendly and knowledgeable when I asked him various vehicle film questions as well. Anyway, I'm grateful for the quick film removal, reasonable pricing, and availability, lack of contact hassle, and even an appointment so soon. I certainly didn't require or expect scheduling on Sunday, but it worked for him, so it was fine, and nice to just get it done and over with.
