These guys are awesome and they provide high value for what you pay. I originally requested just the side windows but Ron recommended roof and front windshield and this WAS the right call. They work fast and did an uncompromisingly great job on tinting my car which has a lot of glass. When driving you can't even visually tell the front windshield is tinted, but you can feel it's protected from the drastic reduction in heat and glare!!! BEFORE...East Bay Auto Spa, car got so scorching inside I could not drive until the steering wheel cooled down with the AC cranked on. This can prevent interior damage too. There was some delamination on both passenger's and driver's side interior door trim from the inside car being too hot. AFTER... Ron and team tinted the glass, the same environment only gets warm and spares my AC from running on full blast. Got the interior door trims replaced and no delamination after 4 months in a lot of summer sun. BEFORE...driving on YVR towards downtown WC in afternoons was not only scorching hot but tons of glare and sunglasses AFTER... now just a little warm with much less glare without the need for sunglasses. I just purchased a new Infiniti Q50 Red 400 Opal edition. The last of the Q50's to be built. I wanted to have PPF installed, Ceramic coating and window tinting in a great one stop shop. My body shop, Will's Auto Body, recommended Ron at East Bay Auto Spa very highly. I called Ron one day, told him what I was looking to do, and I kid you not, Ron spoke to me for an hour and ten minutes about different options, how long he has been doing this and that he handles Chuck Taylor's vehicles and just finished Alanis Morissette's vehicle. I wasted no time in choosing Ron to handle my request. My only issue was that the dealership had used a finishing spray, to hide deep swirl marks in the paint and water spots I could not see on inspecting the car. Ron went way beyond the call of duty to paint correct this car. Him and Angel his right hand man took a whole day to prep it, which is unheard of and should not have had to be done ia new car. The finishing product was great but I'm a very fussy person when it comes to my car's. I saw some things on the paint, brought it to Ron's attention and him and Angel went to work on it yet again. The end result was out of this world. I just picked it up and drove it home in traffic and had people rolling down there windows commenting how beautiful the car was. So Ron earned the right to my business, and he will be the ONLY person I go to for any paint protection or PPF on any of my future vehicles. I recently purchased a new SUV, and wanted to protect the front end with PPF as soon as possible before the inevitable thown road debris damage really began to accrue. So I checked online reviews of nearby installers and added a handful of contenders to the shortlist. I called East Bay Auto Spa (EBAS for short) first and was lucky enough to reach the owner, Ron. Ron was super nice, and offered information freely with a genuine interest in helping me to understand the PPF and ceramic options. Anyone can quickly and clearly tell they are talking to an expert when talking with Ron about his profession. He didn't even bring up tinting (I never felt like he was pushing anything, and he even told me to freely call around for other quotes if I'd like), but since I noticed they also did tinting, I brought that up, and again, he was super generous with his time and knowledge explaining the tinting options. After talking all this out with Ron, I felt confident that this was who I wanted to protect my new ride and didn't feel any need to inquire around for other quotes, so I scheduled the job and paid my deposit. I ending up selecting a front-end PPF and also added tinting for most of the inside glass windows. I picked up the vehicle today, and it looks really quite immaculate. EBAS did such a great job that I can't even tell from any seams or anomalies that any film has even been applied to any of the surfaces anywhere. However, I *can* tell the difference in feel on the smoother ppf and reduced light, heat, and glare through the treated windows. EBAS often has a month or two waitlist according to Ron, and my original appointment was scheduled out about a month, but Ron had a cancellation and scheduled me in sooner because he worries about getting PPF on vehicle front ends as soon as he can because timing matters. The more you drive without PPF, the more you risk flying rock/pebble/debris paint chips all over your front end. It would have been nice to get the whole thing PPF'd, but a baller I'm not, so I had to be practical and choose priorities. I feel more than fortunate enough for the new vehicle and being able to do even this for the vehicle... and most of all my reasonable health and other bigger picture concerns! If nothing else, I highly recommend you at least talk with Ron and get a quote before going elsewhere for your PPF, vinyl, and tinting needs. I know I will be referring EBAS and Ron whenever an appropriate opportunity arises and also know I'll be back to EBAS should I ever be in need of these services again myself. read more

I had a fantastic experience with East Bay Auto Spa. They quickly responded to my request for a quote on tinting my 2016 WRX on Yelp. They even gave me a $50 discount. I went down to make an appointment and the man who came up front to assist me was very patient, answered all of questions and made suggestions on the level of tint that would look the best. I came back a week later to drop off my car and he said it would take 3-4 hours. It only took about 2.5 hours. The cost was $300 for the two up front and all rear windows (including the $50 discount). They did a fantastic job! They did the front windows at 50% tint and the back windows and rear window at 20%. Just got my car tinted today. I was referred to this place by the Audi Dealership in Concord. I scheduled an appointment last week and was able to get in within a week! But make sure you call ahead of time, because they're booking up quick!! I worked with Mike and from the beginning he was able to answer all my questions and was very professional. I was indecisive on what percentage of tinting i wanted to have done, because I still wanted to stay within the legal limit, but keep the UV lights out. Mike had me feel the difference of the heat between UV tint and none at all. What a difference!! I decided on getting 50% in the front and 20% in the back. I dropped my car off this morning at 9am and Mike told me it would be ready by 1pm or sooner. Sure enough, the car was done before 1pm and when I went to go check it out, it was perfect!! Prices are reasonable, and they are very professional. My fiancé is gonna take his car here to get tinted too!! Lastly, it's under lifetime warranty. So that's even better!! read more
