They're dog friendly, though I will say the dog next to us got a little active with their friend, which was a bit distracting. Overall, it still had a quaint atmosphere. The service was on the slower side, but we weren't in a rush. Just keep that in mind if you're looking for a quicker stop because this spot might not be your best pick. We stopped in for a cocktail. Our bartender said he was new and had been there a few months. He said he was trying out some new drinks, so he gave us a peach cocktail to share. We ordered two vodka lemonades and two spicy margaritas. A little later he brought out a cheese board and said he was training someone, they had made an extra one, and he wanted us to have it for free. Super nice of him! We sat there enjoying our drinks, the cheese board, and watching the Blue Angels fly by. Great atmosphere. When we asked for the bill it was $73. Keep in mind, that's for four drinks because everything else was given to us for free. We never asked for the peach drink or the cheese board--he offered them. We paid the bill and left a good tip, but come on...$73 for four basic drinks is crazy. Just be aware if you're stopping in. The drinks are not cheap. We stopped into V-NO Wine Bar while walking around Fells Point, mostly because the location right on the marina caught our eye that part alone is a big selling point. When we arrived, we were the only ones there, and there was one staff member working. That said, she came over immediately, brought us menus, and made the experience feel welcoming right away. We had to ask about tastings and she poured us about four different wines to try, which was a really nice touch and made the experience feel relaxed. We liked a few of the wines and ended up purchasing a bottle of Honor Cava Brut Rosato for $32.99. Solid choice. Nothing mind-blowing, but enjoyable and fairly priced for the setting. The space itself felt calm and cozy, especially with the fireplace and wine displays, but at the time we were there it didn't have a ton of energy or buzz. To be fair, it was early in the day, so I can absolutely see this place feeling very different in the evening or on a weekend when the patio and waterfront vibe are in full swing. V-NO is a pleasant, low pressure wine stop with friendly service, a thoughtful tasting experience, and a beautiful waterfront location. It may not scream "vibes" during slower daytime hours, but it's an easy place to relax, learn what you like, and enjoy a glass (or a bottle) without feeling rushed. There is indoor and outdoor seating (faces the water) and is a cute place to spend for date night or girls night out. The staff is always really nice and quick to take our order. We've been here a number of times and the service is always great. You can do a flight of wines, have a glass or get a bottle. There are also bottles you can purchase to take home as well. The cocktails for the most part are also good, although the list is small (understandable given it's a wine bar!). There are also some non-alcoholic options and seltzers. V-NO is a fells point staple - I've been coming here since the pandemic when Karen used to be the general manager. I was drinking a lot of conventional wine then and this was a great spot to find some good bottles. I stopped going as much in the last few years. Since May 2024, the general manager has changed to Di and she's magical. I went in June and in December and she's added a whole new menu and some natural wines to the offerings and they most recently won Best eggnog in fells point. I have to say the eggnog was spectacular - they are offering it still (January 2025 at the time of this review). Every Tuesday they have a wine tasting and Fells point neighbors get 10% off. The price point is a little higher because of the location, but honestly, this is the best eggnog I've ever had in my life. read more

I really enjoyed my experience at V-No the other day. I rated the food a 4, service a 5, and atmosphere a 5, so after averaging it out, that's a 4.8, which is why they're receiving a 4. I love its beautiful waterfront location and outdoor covered seating. The frose was delicious and the burrata was amazing! I loved that the toasted bread had garlic on it (great touch) and that the burrata came with pesto. The pizza was pretty good but the bottom crust was a little burnt. This is a pretty good place to grab a drink or open a bottle. I love sitting out on the patio in the summer time as the people watching is top tier! I always find it better to share a bottle with friends than drink by the glass. They have a decent selection of wine and bubbles and recently stopped charging a corkage fee when you dine in and that alone will have us opening more bottles and staying longer. They also have a full bar but I haven't really had more than shots from the bar, I don't know that I expect them to be expert cocktail makers but typically they have really good wine suggestions. They hosted another business that provided the brunch, it was French Toast Connection and it was delicious! The tickets came with brunch and one drink. Wait times elsewhere crept over an hour and we fortunately stumbled on this spot. The location is right on a pier in the bustling and historic Fells Point neighborhood. The wineshop inside ensures that you'll find a good glass of wine. Surprisingly good light food options complete the experience. We had sparkling rosé at our waterside seats, followed by a decent Mediterranean sampler platter with hummus, pita, and grape leaves. The piece de resistance was an excellent pizza. We chose the prosciutto and arugula option, but they were out of arugula. No matter, this was a great prosciutto pizza. Pleasant waitstaff were slammed by the busy day. The seating process was disorganized, but food and drinks still came out quickly.
