Grilled pork vermicelli

I had tried them once for take out and was not impressed, but I tried them again for dine in and greatly appreciated the food and service. It was busy during lunch time but staff were on it to make sure you had everything you wanted and needed for your order. The food was fresh and the portion of pork was more than I've gotten at many other restaurants. Will definitely come back!

What can I say in few brief words? This place rocks for a quick meal. It was absolutely packed when we walked in, but even with that challenge we were quickly sat, order taken, served, and out the door in less than 30 minutes! After waiting for a while at a nearby establishment we grew tired of being ignored there so we walked out after never being acknowledged and went straight here. We've been here a few times, the food has never let us down so we figured they could pull out the disaster that was the other spot, and of course V Bistro killed it yet again. On this visit we ordered some Pho Bun Hue, Tom Yum Soup, and egg rolls. All delicious, all piping hot, and all of this came out just minutes from ordering. The service is simply impressive here! As we walked out they were already halfway done with cleaning the table. If you're ever looking for a quick bowl, come here!

An Humble staple for sure, I love coming here, the service is always good, the food never disappoints! Personally love their egg rolls and spring rolls, my favorite appetizers and their boba is so good!

the best stir-fry noofdle in town!

. Good service Tried this beef dish and it did not disappoint The meat is super tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Seasoning is just right -- rich but not overwhelming. Every bite is really satisfying. If you love beef, this is definitely worth a try 9/10 -- would order again

The food here is absolutely amazing! There are so many options and for great prices too. I love having leftovers to take home with me. Only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it took a while to get any service from the waiters and they did not check up on us while we were there. I will still be coming back for the food!

This was our first time dining at V Bistro, and unfortunately, it left a concerning impression. We found a piece of plastic in one of the spring rolls, which could have been extremely dangerous, especially since we had kids eating the food as well. While the restaurant did provide a refund promptly, this type of issue is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their food safety and quality control. Accidents happen, but something like this should never occur in the first place. I hope V Bistro takes this as an opportunity to improve and ensure better standards for the safety of their customers.

My husband was around Deerbrook Mall and knowing I wasn't feeling well asked to pick up lunch. I was craving soup and wonton soup hits home every time. The wontons had great flavor, but I felt they could've been slightly with more filling. The grilled pork had that nice sweet grilled taste and the spring rolls weren't extra ordinary but good. The place stays pretty busy so the food is definitely made to order and fresh. We'll be back to try the pho when we're in the area.

The service was good. Although, I would not recommend the chicken pho. No chopsticks are provided as it seems they have forks and spoons.

I get the p5 on the menu and it's pretty decent cuts of meat. Lots of it that's for sure they aren't shy on protein. Services is always quick and happy to help no matter how busy. For the latter, it's gotten to a point where no other Vietnamese spot has come close. For pho seekers who happen to be in Humble, Pho Dien 1960 is an absolute must. The place is small, but they've stacked their small dining room into a very group friendly setup consisting of small booths and tables. The stale air quality is reminiscent of old school spots around town and the young Viet guys running the joint keep the place friendly and efficient. In terms of the pho, there are no complaints. The broth skews somewhat sweet, but it's aromatic enough for me to normally slurp it completely dry. Their best asset has been the meat, which is excellent. Their combination dac biet is an excellent variety that includes meatball, tripe, flank, and some of the best rare steak and tendon I've had. The latter is buttery and smooth enough to where I can't get enough. I tend to order it in their XL (xe lua) size, which is an off-menu item that goes for nearly $20 ($19.45) and is one of the largest bowls I've seen. I always look forward to getting it. While their banh mi and bun dishes are not nearly the same caliber, they still pass the test as a quality offering. The cha gio is a bit paltry, without any greens and a small bowl of semi-spicy nuoc mam (fish sauce). Their Vietnamese coffee is chocolate-y, and perfect for to-go. Their weekday lunch combo special is a good deal, in which one can come in for a small or medium sized pho and get an order of two cha gio or goi cuon with an iced tea. Parking is really easy on the weekends, especially since most of the businesses in the strip mall are closed. It may feel a tad more expensive ($12-18 per most entrees) but this is the price one pays in suburbia without having to head to any of the enclaves.

The duck is roasted for hours, so the skin comes out nice and crispy without being too greasy. I also like that the remaining duck is made into a soup afterward. Unfortunately, I shouldn't have ignored the average reviews, as this is what it turned out to be. I had lunch at Bambi House this last Friday for the first time. I was disappointed for a couple of reasons: my Orange chicken was basically mostly tempura and very thin slices of chicken. I had purchased the orange chicken, which was $9.85, with egg fried rice. The chicken was average in flavor, but as I mentioned before, the chicken was in thin slices; therefore, I mostly had tempura drowned in the orange chicken sauce. The fried rice was bland in flavor. Honestly, I agree: half and the re w the rest away. Admittedly, all of the 5-star reviews I read praised the duck, so perhaps that's what they're really good at. Unfortunately, I will probably never be back, because thin slices of chicken don't meet my expectations.

But drinks, spring rolls, banh mi, vermicelli/rice plates are also their jam. Definitely on the pricier side for Vietnamese food and not truly authentic (but guess it's pretty far from Alief / Bellaire here), but I enjoyed the flavors anyways! ** 5 spice tofu vermicelli: this beautiful plate came with big fluffy pieces of tofu that were nicely fried, but the tofu itself had only a hint of the 5 spice flavor. It came with a very sweet, light fish sauce (?) that amped up the flavor, and there are sriracha and hoisin sauces on each table if needed. The medley of carrots, cabbage, and cilantro added some crunch and color. It wasn't oily or overly filling, and I'm happy I tried it :) ** BBQ pork banh mi: solid banh mi with some pickled veggies inside. Take out the jalepeno if you don't like spicy! The pork is a little on the fattier side. We added a fried egg as suggested by the staff (man, eggs are expensive right now!), and it was a little overcooked since we usually like the slightly runny yolk for banh mi. The bread wasn't overly crispy that it poked the roof of your mouth. ** Shrimp tempura: more of a fried shrimp than the Japanese tempura style, but still tasty! These came piping hot with pickled carrots too. Doesn't taste very "shrimpy," which may be good depending on who you ask. It's a clean and sort of fun, airy atmosphere. You order at the cashier first and the water, utensils, boxes, etc are self-serve. The staff were friendly. Definitely bring a jacket-- they had fans circulating cold air and it was chilly! Would return for their lunch offerings if in the area and to try the drinks and bubble waffles :D
