There isn't a clear menu or pricing listed anywhere which is also a bit confusing but the staff do their best to explain. I think that overall the price is fair. A full serving of chicken briyani is around $12 and you can have either a half serving of the curry or a full serving (not sure what the cost of each of these options was and I think we got a half serving?) White rice was an extra $3. The staff did come by several times to check in on us which was nice.

For context, my friend and I are both brown and were on the younger side compared with the average age of the other patrons that evening. The host/owner was genuinely lovely and welcoming, so unfortunately the service was especially disappointing by comparison. Throughout the dinner, we were repeatedly overlooked by our assigned server. Toward the end of the meal, while other servers were going around asking guests if they wanted a second helping of dessert, we had to flag down a different server because ours never came by. The most frustrating part came at the end. As the restaurant emptied out around us, everyone else was given to-go bags for their leftovers and had their bills brought to them. We received neither. Our server, who had largely ignored us throughout the meal, continued to walk past us without checking in. We ultimately had to wait while the restaurant essentially cleared out around us. We didn't leave until around midnight, after spending roughly half an hour sitting there waiting to be given our bill and leftovers. I really wanted to root for a brown-owned restaurant and hoped this would be a place I could come back to, which made the experience particularly disappointing. I understand that restaurants can have an off night, but being consistently overlooked throughout an expensive dinner--and then essentially forgotten at the end--left a very bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I don't plan to return.

The sauce was amazing, I ended up using it for everything else. The chicken lollipop and kebab were also so tender and addicting to eat. Staff are friendly and professional. The service is always pleasant and top notch. Very much a home style energy and for me it always feels really inviting. Not gonna lie the ceiling design is also probably the best I've seen in the city lol, very unexpected. Lot of treats and sweet if you're into it Will definitely keep coming back here, congrats to the family running it!

Ordered rohu (a type of carp), goat meat stew, fried eggplant, and malaikari for dessert. Rice, salad, and daal come on the house. Really filling and generous portions. Goat pieces were bone free and not too fatty. My favorite was the rohu, which was tasty but not overpowering the flavor of the fish. The goat curry was a bit heavy and not as flavorful. The eggplant was good but served cold - wish it was warmed. Rice, salad/fixins, and daal were hearty.
