service was great! i had asked for a to-go box & a waiter had asked me if there was an issue with my food.. i told him i loved it, i was just full haha. I ordered the bolognese and i loved the taste of the sauce & meat.. i also loved how the toasted parmesan cheese on top added such a nicer flavor. my bf ordered a panini that had sausage in it & it was very flavorful. overall rly great experience despite it being a lil tight space inside, would def recommend!! so many great options to choose from read more

So the caffe it's self is ok. I wouldn't call it European in any way shape or form. The inside is ok to look at but can be a bit busy to the eye, trust me you will get tired of it after a while. So I came here with some friends and noticed that it's more of a girlfriend type hang out place. Nothing wrong with that. Just not my scene. So let's get to the real reason why I am posting the food. So the food I can say is eye visual and so is the tea and coffee. But that's it. When it came to trying the food pack flavor in every way. Also the breakfast seems like we can get it at any other breakfast place. We had asked the waiter for salt and pepper and he seemed to get offended by us asking for salt and pepper. The waiter paused and thought and looked like our food doesn't need salt or pepper. Told us to hold on and came back with a few packets of salt & pepper. The disappointment on him face was priceless, had he been eating the stuff we had he would be more disappointed that it lack flavor. Who make dry pancakes? How do you mess up something so easy as pancakes! Bacon had no flavor and the sausage let's just say we will not go there. I left the complete breakfast but the two eggs. The coffee wasn't that good. I have had better at drive thru Starbucks, and I hate Starbucks. I had a "fresh squeezed" orange juice that's was ok. I have had better from the Pacific dining car & Cheesecake Factory. I don't recommend this place at all. I say if you like flavorless foods then this is the place for you. read more

It's a place at the tustin village no close parking but the walk is worth it, I tried the cauliflower is so good and for dessert coffee and chocolate cake, there's plenty of options, very clean, the prices ate affordable, the service was fast, and friendly personnel you can ask them about the options before to order and you will have a good answer and in a good mood that's what we are looking for in a business right? The food is super unique it has a European bend to it. The Utopia Latte is a vanilla-flavored latte sprinkled with flowers which is cute and taste great. My boyfriend loves the Rosewater Lemonade, a lot. The dishes are all a little different than at most cafes, more of a French twist on a lot of the dishes. There are lots of different things to try like the Spicy Sausage Panini or the Mediterranean scrambled egg dish it is cooked in a butter sauce, garlic, herbs, green chiles, tomato, and served with slices of Sourdough Bread. I like to try the different dishes but I tend to get yogurt as a regular item since it is of my favorites especially the Blueberry yogurt which is topped toasted coconut shavings, blueberries, walnuts, and a few pumpkin seeds. My family and I met up with our family friends from the Bay Area. The paninis were good. The pancakes were fluffy. The roasted potatoes were very good- crispy outside, well baked inside, and it came with a nice sauce. The scrambled eggs had a good texture. I would have liked a bit more fruit on the side. I love going here! I've gone a few times in the past few years and figured it's time to write a review. First, the presentation of their dishes is amazing and IG-worthy, especially any of the breakfast platters. I like the French and American platters. For drinks, I either get the matcha latte sweetened or the Utopia latte (very pretty and good!). I also like the chicken pesto sandwich. The only downside is if you go with 3 or more people and all that's left are the small, round tables, you're gonna have to figure out how to fit everyone's dishes and drinks on such a tiny space. Other than that, the food is pretty and tasty, and the atmosphere is chill. Love it! read more

Overall the ambience is good, not too bad on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly servers Overall 4.5/5 The Santa Fe omelette was good, and good portions . Fruit was just cantaloupe and blueberries 4.5/5 The avocado toast didn't have alfalfa as advertised and it was hard to cut and chew but still ok. 3/5 felt like avocado was lacking. First 2 times I got the French bfast, but got the American bfast today as they were out of the other one. They are both super yum!! The chicken pesto chicken was okay since the chicken was kinda dry as well as the bread so overall it made the sandwich taste dry. The chocolate croissant was nothing too special and a bit dry but it looked cute. The best thing in my opinion was the Utopia late. That latte was very well made and its presentation was very nice as it had dried flower petals and crushed pistachios on top of the whip cream. The latte was a good balance of bitter and sweet. I just had a frustrating experience with Utopia and will no longer be a customer in the future. I ordered for delivery via Yelp in partnership with Grub Hub to support local businesses. I was called from my delivery person that the restaurant was out of the panna cotta item I ordered. It's simple. I just asked for them to remove that item and deliver the rest. No problem. When the rest of my food arrived, I noticed that the French Breakfast I ALWAYS order is missing the Brie. I called the business just to inform their kitchen. Like FYI. The person who answered the call got immediately defensive and was like what do you want me to do about that? Jeez calm down. You're the business. You should try to make it right. Instead of even saying sorry, he was like you ordered through Yelp, deal with them. I feel like the delivery people didn't do anything wrong, but he wants me to deal with Yelp?? Then was all like are you threatening me?? *sigh* No longer felt like reasoning with someone being manic, so I just hung up. Eating my stale day old croissant and disappointed at my broken yolk in the over easy. Pictures provided! They are losing me as a customer forever. Simple. Over a stupid piece of missing brie and someone not knowing how to apologize when they are in the wrong. Plenty of other small businesses for me to support in the area. read more

If you know anything about coffee, that shouldn't happen. At this point, we had been there for over two and a half hours. For a salad, an appetizer, and four raw meatballs. The server was very nice and doing his best with being busy. BUT, the overall operation felt completely disorganized and untrained. We weren't the only ones either. The couple next to us was also complaining after waiting 40 minutes just to order breakfast items. To make it even better, parking is only comped for 90 minutes. So because of their slow service, we ended up paying for parking on top of overpriced, underwhelming food. What should have been a 45 minute lunch turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal. The bathroom also wasn't clean either time I went, which pretty much sums up the lack of attention to detail across the board. The only slightly redeeming part was the crème brûlée, which was... fine. Not amazing. Just fine. It's a pretty space. I'll give them that. But that's about where the positives end. The food is not good, the timing is unacceptable, and the whole experience feels like Instagram style over quality and substance. Definitely not worth the money, and not somewhere I'd ever go back to.

He liked it more than he thought, and it was perfectly cooked chicken with pork sausage all in a delicious broth. We also enjoyed some nice rose and cab, both Romanian of course. Ended the course with profilteroles! Super excited (: Large indoor seating area. Can easily accomate large parties but can also be intimate enough for a date. Service is super friendly and on top of it. When we came there was a large party, but the server (i think owner) was really polite and apologetic and often checked in on us. Highly recommend!

Somni is not only the most expensive restaurant in Los Angeles, it's also one of the most expensive in the country. The tasting menu starts at $745 actually, you're dealing with a meal that can cost as much as a family trip to legoland. Somni makes it clear from the first of 20-plus courses where your money is going. As you're led into a tree-draped courtyard outside the converted bungalow where the restaurant is housed (it used to be a Donna Karan store), the night begins with a champagne flute of frothed-up mandarin juice and a spread of carnival-coded snacks: popcorn-flavored leaves, a feather made of parmesan, and a big trompe l'oeil almond shell that cracks under your teeth like candy. Somni's chef cooked under José Andres and came up in the tongue-in-cheek school of fine dining made famous by Spain's El Bulli--so whimsy-heavy dishes like a cartoonish mushroom sandwich boosted with truffle, or a sashimi-like sardine tart on an oversized goldfish cracker are par for the course. But Somni's Spanish-leaning creations never sacrifice deliciousness for cleverness. An obscenely generous mound of caviar over a dissolving puff of dashi-flavored meringue is so delicious that all you can do is sigh. Moreover, the restroom sign was white sign on a white door, it's so easy to miss it! The same thing happened to me too, I was looking for restroom and standing next to the kitchen counter, no one acknowledged me and I had to get their attention to ask if this is a restroom with me pointing at the door. You get the idea how unobvious that sign was and how bad the service was. I'm talking about one star Michelin, definitely not worth it in our opinion. Finally, that's right, I'm not done yet. The space is horribly designed with ventilation. Mid-way through the course, it was smokey in the dining area and I had tears in my eyes and had to blink multiple times. Just fyi, our table was at the far end from the kitchen. I looked far into the kitchen, they only had one window half opened in the back and all the smoke smell was going into the dining area. All of us felt it but we didn't complain as we were trying our best to enjoy our time out. When we left and stepped into the car, I smelled the smoke on my jacket, on my inside shirt (I had the jacket on the whole time), and smoke all over my hair! As soon as we got home, we had to switch out all the clothes, cooked and ate the ramen, then jumped into shower and tossed all clothes in washer to get rid of the Smokey smell. Omg this place is horribly designed without adequate verification just really bad overall. If you still decide to go after reading this, for whatever reason, just make sure you have a full lunch of the day before dinner, know not to wear nice clothes (as you will need to dry clean them immediately), and understand the time required to circle around small streets endlessly to look for parking. I honestly want to give it 1 star Yelp review out of all the negative, but the additional 1 was for the chef that the food is decent. But again, do not recommend, take your date and celebrate the special moment elsewhere!

The only downside was the rice. We went at that awkward in-between time around 3 PM, and it seemed like it had been sitting from the lunch rush. It was a bit dry and slightly crunchy, even sticking to my teeth, which made it pretty unpleasant. Honestly, I think I'd be a lot more excited to come back if the experience had been better. The rice kind of threw everything off for me, so I'm not super inclined to return anytime soon which is a bummer because I used to really love this spot. That said, everything else was enjoyable and definitely brought back good memories. I'd come back just maybe during a busier time to get everything fresh.

We went to this place by accident because we had forgotten the experience the last time around. It was worse this time. The food was bland, nowhere close to delicious Turkish food we regularly enjoy. The owner says that the "Anatolian" flavors must not suit my taste buds. I guess that's a way of saying "it's not us, it's you." We asked for sour cream for eggs, but were given half-and-half in a cup and told that it is sour cream. I guess that is Anatolian too. I asked for soft boiled eggs and no one had a clue what I meant, so I received hard boiled eggs instead that were clearly not cooked today. They came out instantly, cold and cut in half. Clearly, they were not made to order. My lentil soup also came out barely lukewarm. The rose "preserves" and honey were artificial sugary sauces with some type of corn starch. The cucumber and tomato salad was also pre-made and was soggy. On the bright side, the bread and olives were good, and the Utopia latte was tasty too. Basically, unless you are someone who has never had quality Turkish or Mediterranean food, you should not waste your time or money here. read more

We placed a catering order from here today, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. We ordered vegetarian sandwiches, but there was a mix-up with the order. What disappointed me even more was the lack of accountability from the manager. When I brought the issue to the manager's attention, instead of acknowledging the mistake and taking steps to rectify it, the manager repeatedly asked, "What do you want me to do?" which was quite disheartening considering the role she holds. Notably, our order amounted to over $800 for our company, and given the substantial nature of the order, we expected a higher level of commitment to resolving the issue. Suggesting a solution or alternative and following through with it, especially given the significant amount spent, would have made a significant difference. I hope the management considers improving their customer service, especially when it comes to addressing mistakes in orders. It's essential for a manager to take charge and ensure customers leave satisfied, even when things don't go as planned. read more

I've been here twice, one of those visits was today. I want to start my saying the staff was amazing and very sweet, hostess was overwhelmed and not the nicest but the rest were wonderful. Their system is a little odd, you have to wait for the hostess to put a number at a table for you, then you go in line and wait to order at the stand. For the food, the coffee and pastries are incredible however, both times I've been here (for me and my fiance) we both agree that the food is extremely bland. There is absolutely no flavor to the meals. Today I for the omelette which had no salt, nothing just bland eggs with some sausage that was also flavorless. My fiance got the chicken panini which was exactly the same, and the chicken was very dry. overall, we paid $85 for two pastries, coffee, soda, and two entrees. Calm down and focus on the goal, as you're waiting in line to place your order.....yes the food is worth the wait! We had the mediterranean breakfast plate and the panini-soujouk-kashar, to name a few. The mediterranean breakfast plate were so tasty but the panini-soujouk-kashar was crazy good. Desserts are also definitely worth it too. They have lots of selection of slices cakes So now the bad.... the line is long on weekend but that's what happens when you have great food.
