Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere, and loved the steak special! Oh - and their house vodka (made in house?) was on point

I only went here for drinks, so I can't speak to the food, but the bartenders were very attentive and nice. Cool view in the back of the distillery as well. read more

This place has AMAZING food, beer, and staff!! I had the Salmon garden salad & Reuben fritters on the side and oh my gosh!! EVERYTHING WAS TASTY! The vegetables were so fresh and vibrant and the fritters were so crunchy and gooey! We had an amazing server who was always around when we needed and so incredibly polite and accommodating. It was a bit on the pricey end of your dining & drinking but strictly dining shouldn't be too expensive. Highly recommend! read more

Great beers and food-burgers and salmon sandwich really good. Wedge salad to die for!

This place was great. They have Sunday Brunch but we got lunch items off the menu. Rueben Fritters, just as good as you imagine. Honey had fish and chips. The tartar sauce was dill instead of the standard. The philly was incredible!!! The meat was so tender and it had a little kick to it too! We also did 2 flights of their tap beers. My honey does not like sours oh the faces he made. He liked the blue square beers though. Service was great too! Highly recommend this place read more

This place is still amazing! Great locally brewed beers. They have a cool beer store in the back. The Buffalo mac and cheese balls are hands down my fave appetizer! So crunchy, creamy, and spicy all at the same time. YUM! I also very much adore their caeser salad. Perfectly dressed and the dressing is so delicious. My fave sandwich is the philly cheesesteak. The ribeye is so tender and the jalapeño sauce is so yummy. And I don't even like jalapeños. It is a little on the spicy side but a nice Scottish ale helps with that. Love coming here and it is always yummy. The staff is also always so friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to helping you decide what beer to get. read more

Hostess buried in her iPhone and IPA beer lackluster, I left for another local pub with food. I won't be back.

Excellent pizzas and fast service. Great selection of really good beer. Will be going back soon!

Great service at the bar. UTOG Burger was a great and bigger than expected. Loved the beer battered fries. Great place to enjoy with friends or on your own. read more

I ordered the Forrest Pasta and did not like it. Tasted synthetic and the pieces of asparagus in the pasta were tough and not tender. No asparagus tips, just the stems. I couldn't eat the pasta dish because of the odd flavor and I ended up eating half of my husbands Beef Dip which was very good with the horseradish sauce!! Waitress was nice. read more

Had a fabulous first time visit to the UTOG. Hanging with my kid in my own neighborhood for a change and saw the fish and chips on yelp so we decided to check this place out and we were not disappointed. They can get pretty busy which is a good sign, a wait list gathered quickly after we arrived. Overall The fish is five star it is really excellent and the fries are delicious. Was having so much fun we decided to try desert, which I never do and we got the peanut butter cookie ala mode. If you get some of the caramel on the spoon it's a perfect bite! read more

Food took over an hour and half to be served and half of the orders were cold. This would be normally acceptable when a place is at capacity however this was not the case it was half full. I feel like our server tried her best to apologize for things out her control but we never saw a manager (or whom we had been led to believe was the manager) doing anything other than leaning against the wall talking. It was a very disappointing night and will not return. Quality of food, beer, and cleanliness have dropped considerably. Again server did her best so there was that maybe if we had stuck to appetizers we might have been better off. read more

This place has been amazing! My dad has been visiting Utah for a few days and we've been eating here almost every night! Great servers, great food, and great drinks! They've been wonderful every time we've sat down here! This is a nice loud and fun place to eat! There's bean bag tossing outside for the kids and sports games on big TVs running at all times! Great food, beer, and proximity to downtown Ogden. Staff always friendly. Good for date night or large groups.

Very good burger prices a bit on the higher side, but quality. Noise level higher but to be expected for a bar

We sat at the bar, drank a flight, ordered some killer Brussels sprouts and a sandwich to share. Good service, good food.

I had food poisoning the day after. The beer they brew themselves is very stale and flat. The bartender spilled the beet twice when serving my friend her beer. read more

If you happen to be looking for a solid choice for lunch or dinner in the Ogden area, be sure to include UTOG on your list of must try's. The food is always on point and the service is good. Last night, we met our close friends for dinner. All of our meals were good. We started out with the Brussels Sprouts appetizer. They were amazing and prepared with a bacon ranch sauce. YUM. Our four meals, included the Country Fried Chicken, the Wing Sandwich (Amazing!!), the Salmon Sandwich (which I chose the blacked version vs seared) and the Buffalo Chicken Salad. Everyone enjoyed the meal, minus the carrots that came with the country fried chicken. (Too raw). This restaurant has cool vibe and seems to have decent following for their craft brews. We love supporting and these guys are definitely local. Give them and try!!! read more

A couple of the brews are good. But like everywhere is way over priced. Nice atmosphere for a brewery

So... I am out at UTOG right now... first time in a month or so... I have always had a great experience here... good food and good beer and good service... Well, tonight left a lot to be desired... almost an hour in and no food... barely got asked for my second beer.... waited 30 minutes for a cup of ranch... don't give a shit attitude from the server... I know its friday but come on! You can do better.... read more

Great place. The food was good and the beers were too! My wife and I had a great time and the service was fantastic!

Thank goodness I decided to eat here tonight!! I didn't want to and walked past it up 23rd and through that new theater area. None of the restaurants interested me so I settled for eating at UTOG. I'm not from Ogden, I'm on a work trip from Alaska and am staying in the area for a few weeks. That being said, I'm used to paying a lot of money to eat out for average food because we pay shipping fees for our food. Also, Utah tax is ridiculous. That has nothing to do with my review, just wanted to throw it out there. I sat at the bar, asked about the wine selection and the server didn't sugarcoat it, she let me know it was a box wine. I'm fine with that as long as I'm not getting gouged. I really appreciated her honesty. Two thumbs up from me. I also tried two beers, 5oz for 2 dollars each. One of them was really not for me, beer is personal, not sure it was the quality, just my taste. I really did like the Mandarina Kölsch, really good. I just wish I had been drinking it in the sun, on the beach, lakeside, etc. Really tasty citrus beer. Okay, my food. They have a lot of small bites on the menu which is perfect for a group ordering a bunch of apps. Me, I was in it for dinner. Hunger. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken. Maybe I was so hungry a meal from Roosters would be good (lol, never). I posted a picture of my meal because it was presented beautifully! Guess what?! I tasted as good as it looked. It was fresh, it was seasoned just right (I'm salt sensitive, by the end of the meal, I was getting that over salted feeling). Whatever they did to the carrots on the plate, I want to learn that, so good. They also hid some spinach in the dish, I really appreciate that because it makes me feel a little bit better about eating fried chicken, mashed potatoes and white cream gravy for dinner. Thank goodness I had to walk (waddle)back to the hotel. Thanks UTOG for the best dinner of four days so far. Update 11/24/2019: Had the Buffalo Chicken salad, really good. Tried the Pilsner, it just wasn't my taste. The hef (not peach) and the Citra Pale Ale were really tasty. Still five stars! I can't wait until next week when I am staying within walking distance! read more

I had the ribs. They were less good than usual. Kitchen quality has decreased over the years. Food was 6/10, beer was 5/10. Nothing to write home about. However, the service was lovely. My wife has a gluten allergy and our server Max was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of. Wonderful service. Max made us feel welcome! read more

Not bad, but everything had way too much salt!! We shared the fried pickles, my husband got the charred tuna salad and I had the buffalo chicken salad. I would come back because I think it has promise, and the beer, ambiance, and service is good. read more
