Rudest workers I've ever met. Nothing but irritated people working there, no professionalism whatsoever

Putting your mail on hold and then trying to retrieve is hell on wheels here. I know this is the ghetto but yall have got to do a better job. The old lady with a ponytail that drives this old raggedy black Camaro has a bad attitude. I'm reporting her to the correct supervisor. Yall better be lucky my aunt ain't the supervisor anymore. I have been to many usps locations due to my job and this is by far THE WORST usps location! I have informed delivery which notifies me when I get any piece of mail. I have a debit card on the way that was supposed to to arrive 3 days ago via informed delivery. I asked the clerk if they can look for my piece of mail or if what she thinks I should do & she rudely referred me to the 1800 number. This is the second time this happened. The first time I received my mail a day later , this time I have not received anything in a week. The people who work the front desk are very rude but I understand they only get away with it because of a lack of positional competition. They are comfortable with talking to me anyway they want & also not informing me as a customer on anything that could help or explain why we have this issue. I payed for a P.O. Box for one year & since I had to cancel my debit card & have it sent to a different address I will go about how to get a refund. I do not recommend coming here unless you have to but beware they take advantage of the fact people have to come & I believe something fishy is going on. read more

Customer service is horrible. Post office closed at 5pm I arrived at 4:47pm today and some lady named Hodges with a colorful dress and a raggedy wig locked the door on me and told me they were closed. I said it's not 5:00 and she said we have enough people in line we are closed. I have never known an establishment like the post office to close when they want unless it was an emergency. I witness them talking to someone that couldn't speak English well horribly. I am filing a complaint and I will Never go to that post office again in my life. read more

I love my post office, because it's mine. My postman Reggie knows me by name, and makes his rounds come wind, rain or shine. The ladies at the counter have to be massaged a bit because let's face it, staying put in a chair doesn't boost anyone's mood or mindset. When the heart begins pumping, the pathways dilate and the blockage gets moved aside. Our nation is an organism too, and USPS is the OG circulatory system, before Amazon and UPS there was a fellow on horseback, cutting lines in the dirt. Cut him some slack, Adirondack, because history repeats, and some of it ain't nice, not then and not now...never. read more

Save your time, energy, and money and do NOT visit this post office. I sell clothes in Poshmark and I've never had an issue with sending them, but when I dropped my packages off here they were both sent back to me with a letter saying that the meter date must be the same as the mail date. I've been selling on Poshmark for years and have never had this experience. I don't usually write bad reviews but take this as a warning!! This place is not the best and the lady there had the nastiest of attitudes.. read more

I haven't received my mail in 3 weeks. Never received a notification, now that I FINALLY after days of calling the supervisor, DAYS of calling and NO RESPONSE. She wants to contact me and answer me with POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and she HUNG UP ON ME because SHE WAS CUTTING ME OFF when I was trying to explain the situation to her !!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is non-existent. The golden girls running the show here really do think they can talk to people any kind of way. Most places have at least one Spanish speaking service provider- not here. I've seen them turn away customers due to this. They LOCK the doors before closing time. They are just plain rude, they talk about clients, they really do thing they can get away with everything! Unfortunately I am stuck with them because I have a PO Box here but that has been a a horrible mistake on my behalf. This is the worst post office I've ever been to. The front receptionist were extremely rude to an Hispanic elderly woman. There are no reason to scream at clients no matter of your color race. This will be going to the main resources . All was caught on camera. Extremely Rude and racist. Don't be fooled by these women. They should do their job right that's why they get paid for. read more

Yesterday I went to drop off some items and I was standing in line when an older lady started screaming at me in form of the other customers saying that I had gotten the wrong bag. So than I went to get another bag to put my items inside the bag and I gave it to her. I place my stuff on the counter and she says in a loud voice "why are you rushing me" which I was not at all and she was yelling at everybody that was there. I don't understand why the employees here want to make things complicated. They're rude about 90 percent of the time. This is the closest post office to me and I honestly try to avoid it because it's always something with them. They have excuses for everything. Don't want to take packages with postage stamp of the day before that makes no sense I have never had this issue with another post office. Avoid this place seriously. read more

If i could leave no stars i would. I normally dont review any USPS store but this place is by far the worst USPS store in the city. I normally visit the Gardena Branch as ive had issues with this branch before but this place has pissed me off so much. First all the ladies working the front look so miserable to be there. It doesnt matter if you great them nicely they will still give you the worst attitude in the world. Then I have never had trouble mailing my packages off with first class letter mail. But today, I received a returned to sender package from 2 orders i sent out. I went to get an explanation and they angrily told me that i was suppose to be sending it as a package and not a letter. AT NO OTHER BRANCH HAVE I EVER HAD THIS PROBLEM! I even spoke to several of the cashiers beforehand and they stated that as long as the weight didnt exceed the limit, it was okay for me to send it in a rigid mailer with a letter postage! These women, told me I was wrong and that I needed to send as a first class package just for a flat sticker order. The day before I dropped of a few orders at Gardena and my customers already received their orders with no issues at all. Know what is allowed in this branch because they seem to follow their own set of rules. read more

A lady named joy with a blonde Afro was extremely rude and aggressive about my 4 month old dog. They refused service until I tied the dog up to a hot day outside. There are no signs posted and I was holding my dog, this was discrimination and abuse of power. I'd like my formal complaint on record for these antics. Since this is the closest location and I had a family member need urgent shipping, I was forced to deal with these people who were incredibly rude. If I have any luck in the future, I'll never have to deal with them again and my complaint will make it down USPS's terrible POS system. I pray nobody with animals get dealt this person. read more

Workers here are SO RUDE!! They do not have the professionalism while working in CUSTOMER SERVICE! I didn't know how to exactly send off my package and had 2 labels on my box because I was reusing the same box to return it to the original person. They gave me SO much attitude and said that I could not have two labels. As a worker, you should be more considerate of people who aren't sure of what they're doing and be there to guide them no?! This is literally the dumbest post office I've been to! I have a small business and I bring big packages already with shipping labels to the post office and I have to wait in line just to give them to the ladies. They have a whole section of the post office dedicated to dropping off big packages and yet it's close and they won't open if for some reason. It wouldn't make their job harder it would actually make it easier and cut down the line significantly. It's so annoying that have to wait in line just to hand a package off like I literally skateboard all the way to the Gardena post office just cause the customer service here is so horrible and it across the street from my house. read more

I'm a small business owner, I take about 5 packages a day to my usual post offices and they take them with NO problem. Today, I had to go to this location to drop off 3 packages because I wasn't around my usual area/location. The service worker, Violet, rejected all of my packages!!! She told me they were stale dates? Clearly she doesn't know what she was looking at on the label, because she was looking at the date in which the customer purchased the item, not a date it's supposed to be shipped by. Apparently, I can't take my packages to this location unless I ship out the item on the same day the customers order is placed? Makes no sense since most business orders ship out 1-2 days after an order is placed. Just hope they get new workers working there cause Violet really was rude. read more

This post office will hold on to your package and tell you it's not there. I've have so many issues with this post office it's ridiculous. This is the third time they have held my package for no reason and then when you continue to question them all of a sudden the package turns up. read more

Strip mall parking lot was a bit crazy, but the post office itself was glorious. Big, lots of PO boxes, a large postal scale for anyone to use, tons of customer service windows (behind bulletproof glass), AND: no wait. As in, there was a couple at one window and no one else in the place. I wasn't even quite getting in line (or the place where a line would be) and a worker walked up to a window and waved me over. She was super nice, too. 11am Thursday win. I'd definitely go here again. read more

They don't even deserve one star but that is the lowest rating I can give. The people working at this location are consistently miserable, rude, don't honor business hours, and they make up policies that no other USPS facility uses. This particular location needs to be closed. It is a shame that although this location is closest to my house I make a concerted effort to drive to a further location so I don't have to deal with these inefficient workers. They don't even say hi when you walk to the window. They will tell you everything that your doing wrong, but won't give you any tips. My regular mail carrier is M.I.A. so the mail delivery service from this post office is horrible right now. Mail is getting lost or delivered to the wrong address. The customer service here is real bad. There are a couple of ladies here that treat you with respect but other than that everyone else is very rude. They don't comprehend and have empathy for non english speakers and are not very helpful! I experienced one of the ladies there today scream and disrespect a non english speaker because he did not understand what she meant. Worst customer service!! I'm a small business owner. I mail priority packages everyday. Unfortunately, one day I needed to mail before 10:00 a.m. Decided to use this office. All my packages were sent back to me after a week. Supposedly not enough postage. And the tracking number stated they were close to destination. When actuality still in their warehouse. Again, I mail packages everyday! I decided to take them somewhere else. That office wasn't sure why they refused. Everything was perfect. Weight, postage, and packaging! NEVER AGAIN!! read more
