If I could leave NO STARS, I would. Arrived at 8am which is when their quick service doors open. 8 am is the posted time the Quick Service Doors open. Spent AN HOUR ringing the bell and waiting for NO ONE to come to the door. Finally went back in the back area and got the attention of a Postal Employee who said he would send the Postmaster to the front to help me. He lied. Didn't do anything. This branch is HORRIBLE.

You help to fill the blanks. Taken 2014.

I'd rather not come here to pick up packages when mailman failed to deliver a package. But this location is my designated postal service. Oh boy, after coming to this run-down post office for many years, I felt really bad about how our tax dollars were not well-spent here. When I first moved to Houston, I got about 5 pounds of misdelivered mail monthly. I tried to write "no such person" and "return to sender" on the envelopes. But it was no use. I read online to bring the mails to my local post office. I brought a bundled package to a clerk, who said he would take care of it. And, a week later, the same bundle was at my door step. @#$*# What?! I could just burn them as fire logs. Sigh... the parking lot needs to be re-surfaced. When you are driving, be sure to slow down. Because if you were walking on this gravel lot, you'll know not to walk fast or you'll slip and fall or get hit by a car. Either way, go online to buy stamps and call UPS to pick up your packages.

Delivered 6lb box inside a mailbox. Where is my package.? I been home all day.

Worst post office ever, i had had packages saying delivered and never was delivered. The carrier at my location is the worst.

Try to parking on the left side since the shipping room is there!!

I came to mail a 5x5x5 package to see if USPS was cheaper than UPS (which was $10!).

I never thought I'd say this, but this was a pleasant post office experience…read more Let me clarify, I let my passport expire...I know right. If you've ever done this, you know that now that online reissues (not renewals) require an appt and in person trip to the post office, and finding an appt spot can feel impossible. Fast forward a few months, I ended up here (the 1st available appt within 50 miles of my house), and although I was hesitant and a bit bent out of shape upon arrival, I have to give these folks their props. While I waited for another family to finish their passport affairs, the team member sent me out to expedite my process by acquiring my passport photo down the street (while saving my spot in line...which was a treat, because this spot gets busy). When I returned, the family was still going, navigating questions, and working out payment. I'm sure it was a stressful situation on both ends, but once finished, you would have never known based on how I was treated. Quick, efficient, friendly, and painless. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. After a few weeks...or maybe months...my passport was at my door. If you're looking for a seamless passport experience, I recommend these folks!

A older lady came up for the same thing and pressed it another two times. Still nothing. She pressed two more times and we could hear the worker asking "why are they pressing the buzzer too many times" as we were still waiting for an answer. Very rude and lazy workers. I do not recommend this location.

I put a hold on my mail and selected the option to pickup my mail that was held. I would rather pick it up because the mailbox is small. I actually resumed the regular delivery for before I returned home. The worker I spoke to told me the day the hold ends is the same day it starts delivery... which I agree. But my request said "Customer will pick up accumulated mail at Post Office". On the FAQ is says, "Note: There is a 10 day period in which to pick up mail at the end of a USPS Hold Mail® service request. If not picked up by this deadline, it will be returned to sender. If your delivery does not resume as requested please Contact Us." I went to pickup my mail before returning home today and the mail was already delivered to the house.

CONSUMER BEWARE I…read moreused Postal Zone to occasionally forward packages to an out of state address. I signed up for Postal Zone's mail forwarding services via AnytimeMailbox.com. Apparently certain employees at the Postal Zone do not know how to use the mail forwarding software because they make mistakes and they put a CRAZY profit markup on simple mail forwarding services. On my end, I am asked if there are any special directions that I want Postal Zone to take note of. I notated my account to reflect that ALL packages are to be mailed via USPS Priority Mail. They did this correctly the first time, but then it was downhill from there. My most recent package was forwarded via USPS Ground...which takes a very long time for me to receive. I tried calling Postal Zone, after my 3rd call...someone finally answered. I pointed out their error, but they would not admit mistake and claimed that their software doesn't have my Priority Mail notes on they end. I pointed out that they had been following my notes and forwarding packages via Priority Mail, but the guy I spoke to would not even acknowledge this statement (despited there is a digital log on my previous shipment from them). Even the mail forwarding software company, AnytimeMailbox.com, got involved and called them to show them how to view my notes (they could see them too), but the Postal Zone employee told the software people that they were wrong and there are no notes. And.. Businesses like Postal Zone get discounted shipping rates, they don't pay retail. However, the Postal Zone more than doubles the retail cost of shipping for USPS Priority Mail (keep in mind that the USPS provides the envelopes for free). The literally put my package into a USPS flat rate envelope (less than 2 minutes to do). In summary, they may have good in-person customer service, but I would not use them for mail forwarding.

It's not perfect, but I can't think of too many post offices that are. The best things? Parking is abundant, the crowds aren't really here in full force (even during closing time), and it seems low-key most of the time. I am able to send most packages without much stress and the self service machine is usually working quite well. I haven't owned a PO Box here, but I don't intend to either. The not-so-fun things? The staff is painfully slow sometimes. Even though there's no line, the wait can be a little bit of a deterrent when the counter ladies are taking their time with each customer. It's likely the customers, but they always seem to run out of pens for filling out forms, so bring your own. The place also smells a bit like mildew, but I've noticed this is common with most post offices throughout the city. If I can get here, send a package / certified letter, and leave in 5 minutes or less, I consider that a thumbs up. It hasn't always been the case, but for the most part, this is a likely scenario for most of my visits.
