There is a bar near the entrance, a dining counter near the kitchen, banquettes, and some long high tops. There is a really cool mural on one wall. There is a patio outb front with plenty of seating Our server was great--very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food came out pretty quickly, and everything was delicious. Our table ordered: *Espresso martini *Matcha lychee lemonade *Lucky Dog sake juice box *Spicy creamy shrimp tempura *Crispy rice with spicy tuna *Salmon poke mini tacos *Crunchy cucumber salad *Brussel sprouts tempura *Garlic rice with pork *Two kinds of ramen (sorry! I don't know what kind!) Everything was delicious, and everyone gave the thumbs up. This is the kind of place with a lot to choose from, so great for groups. I definitely recommend it!

Husband liked the chicken but I think it needed a better sauce to pair with, maybe kewpie mayo. Price was not bad too, total bill was $50 plus tip. Ambiance was great. They have indoor and outdoor dining options. They have misters on during summer. Service was fine but not the best. Our server forgot 1 of our order so make sure to let your server repeat your order. Overall, it was a good experience and would definitely come back. Hopefully they'll open in Tempe

There are lots of Asian touches, like the mural of Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms. The menu has seen several kinds of ramen as well as several kinds of hibachi meals and side dishes. It was absolutely delicious, although someone at the table next to us got the hibachi chicken and it smelled and looked soooo good. We also got some gyoza, which was also super yummy. Our server was great. For a while, he was the only one, so he was running hard, but still was attentive and organized. This place is great. We are going back next weekend to try the hibachi. There was a constant stream of people, so it looks like others have already found this gem.

Looking at the menu for some reason I had a feeling ramen was not going to fill me up so I decided to order appetizer. Ordered Geso Yaki (fried squid legs) and gal recommended Tantan ramen if I I like spicy. Geso Yaki came and looked pretty good with some side sweet dipping sauce. It's not really just squid legs had other parts of squid which I didn't mind. It tasted pretty good with slight crisp to it.. Batter had some seasoning which made it tastier. Then my ramen came.. Looked pretty good but portion looked small. But then again for costing $14 can't complain. Broth was nice and hearty and I couldn't quite figure out the flavor. Then I read the description and it said sesame.. Then it made little more sense of the flavor. I definitely would not call it spicy. Ramen noodle was nice and chewy just the way I like it.. Only thing I didnt like was the pork. It was not bad but I prefer the fatty melt in your mouth kind with my ramen. Over all the food was pretty darn good and price was on point. I would definitely come back here again.

This review is long overdue…read more After drinks and bites at The Living Room on Saturday, May 6, 2017, Rachel took Allen, David and me to THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN for more alcoholic beverages. Nestled in historic downtown Chandler, in the narrow sliver of Boston Street, the speak-easy themed cocktail bar and restaurant is located inside the former home of the Chandler Arizonan, the city's original hometown newspaper since 1912. With exposed brick walls and rich wood finishes, the historic site provides an upscale, contemporary urban and industrial-chic setting. After easily finding parking in walking distance from the entrance, we arrived shortly before midnight of the 7th. They were closing soon, but we had enough time to order a round of craftly-made cocktails and beers to down quickly. It helps when your friend knows the bartender. Enter smiley face emoji here. THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN is credited for the first place that I ever tried a CLOVER CLUB, a pink, frothy cocktail with fruity, citrusy, velvety qualities. I was instantly tickled pink, literally, by the nostalgic feel of the elegant concoction, topped with artfully designed egg white foam and served in a vintage-style champagne glass. What a beauty of a drink with a touch of class and sophistication! Almost made me want to throw on a flapper dress and dance the Charleston...until I realized the need to balance from the powerful punch in the serious drink. Fancy, stiff cocktails served at THE BRICKYARD DOWNTWON fo shizz. No complaints about that here! It's been a while since I visited Arizona. Maybe it's time to return. If/when I do, I will mos def drop by THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN again!
