BACK UP EVERYTHING half the computers I've taken here came back with the hard drives wiped clean. The other half got lost & he doesn't seem motivated to do anything about that. 2. Call before visiting. some shops would call you if there's been a delay. Most will call or email when the work is done. That's not Jimmy's style, so if he told you it would be ready last week, save yourself a trip by calling to make sure. 3. don't bring the charging cable. he's got plenty that will work with most devices & will probably lose yours anyway. 4. be patient James doesn't have a great short term memory & may ask several times what your name is & what brand your computer was & what he was doing to it. maybe put the important info on a notecard affixed to the device. large print. 5. inspect the device before leaving with it. did he put all the screws back in? does it boot up? this could save you a trip or two. 6. Try it yourself first. there are probably a few videos online that explain what you need done. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF! you can do hard things well. if you get stuck or don't have the time, Jimmy's got you. 7. make your device unique Jimmy's got a dozen stacks of silver & black laptops & tablets. put stickers on yours or paint a corner with nail polish. bring it in a neon green box or something.

Mr. Prasad listened patiently to me then he looked at my laptop and said he could fix it... and he could make some changes to it that I wanted, It would be ready by the very next day. Sweet! He called me at the end of the same day and it was all ready for pick up. He was professional, efficient and pleasant to deal with. The price was reasonable too. I build a brand new computer with my friend and had faulty brand new parts you know what they say…read morethere is always a % chance of faulty stuff, luck tends to favor me for those small chances... Anyway Daniel discovered it was a faulty power supply which also friend the CMOS battery. Daniel went through the warranty of my parts and got me a replacement power supply sent to him even if the manufacturer initially sent it to Aba Dabbu instead of Arlington... FedEx had to summon its Fedex council and sat with my replacement power supply for over a week to determine that they would just ship it back, thankfully Daniel had called FedEx because I think they would have sat on my package for all eternity. Then FedEx mounted it on what I can only imagine is the worlds largest snail and sent that back to the manufacturer. Thankfully once the Fedex Snail returned from the manufacturer it returned to Daniel and he moved quickly to rebuild my pc. He even remounted my pc's CPU cooler that had been installed backwards by my friend (cpu cooler was facing towards another fan causing overspin) I had noticed it and lightly mentioned it without actually asking him to fix it. The price was fair and way underbudget for what I had prepared to pay for. Particularly shipping the power supply back to the manufacturer. I was having boot problems that I could not solve. Some of them were my own doing but…read morenevertheless, I needed help. Sometimes it would boot up and many of my programs were missing. Chase, (Service Manager) was my tech. He found a loose connector, a damaged boot record, and several copies of Windows that remained after hard drive upgrades. He also found that my copy of Windows was outdated. He performed an upgrade, AT NO EXTRA COST! My computer was built around a flight simulator/gaming machine, so it has several components plugged into it normally which were not available to Chase during his troubleshooting/repair. These included: 4 monitors Several flight/game controllers Several external hard drives I started having issues where it would shut down for no reason, and my game controller was not recognized. We set up a remote connection and phone call where he spent well over an hour troubleshooting and repairing each item and identified other issues to address. All while explaining as he went along. I chose them for this because I had gone to them for a prior laptop repair. I had great service then, so I'm a repeat customer. For all the work done, and time spent, I found the pricing very reasonable. Bottom line, I would recommend them to anyone!
