Update: USA Trax charged us $4700 to get our vehicles from Scottsdale az to Hilo Hawaii. They abandoned our vehicles in a parking lot in California for two weeks ($2500 in parking fees) and then Turned off their phones and blocked their emails. We are unable to get a hold of anybody in the company. At this point the police have filed a civil case and we are pursuing legal ramifications. This company is a SCAM! Do not do business with them. They will quote you a price and make you put a small deposit and then change the price before they dispatch a driver to pick up the vehicle. Then they will tell you that you signed the contract that stated the price is subject to change which pretty much means that if you cancel you lose your deposit. Beware of this scam. Particularly a broker named Rick. He provided me a contact for $1450 to ship two cars. Which was totally fine and required a $400 deposit. On the morning of my scheduled pickup I called Rick, and he confirmed the driver would be there between 1-2pm. At 2pm I called Rick again to check on the status of the driver. That is when he said he couldn't get anyone dispatched for another week and it was going to now cost $2500. At that time I declined and requested to cancel USA Trax and his services. Quoted $525 for transport- called and voiced concerns for negative reviews I had seen stating people claimed on date of transport price goes way up. I was told if there would be any changes I would be notified 72 hours prior to pick up. Although my payment was a little off schedule and I'm kinda glad they didn't pick it up. I'll wait to see if they refund me if not I'm taking the same actions that Dana did. Solicited bids to transport my auto from California to Virginia. USA TRAX LLC submitted a bid for $695 which I accepted and paid a $225 deposit via Zelle. The ship dated was to be 5/25/24. I called several times on 5/25/24 asking what time the car would be picked up by the driver. Jason Lee asked me not to call but that he would call me to advise when the car would be picked up that day. Not only did he NOT call when he said he would, when I got in touch with him he advised that the car would be picked up 3 days later and the cost had increased to $1667!!! He said I was REQUIRED to pay this amount minus my $225 deposit on deliver in Virginia!! Not only was the shipping date changed but the $695 price had more than DOUBLED. I informed him that he had materially breached our WRITTEN AGREEMENT and I wanted a refund of my deposit. He sent me an email advising I was OBLIGATED to pay $200 for cancelling! Paid the deposit and boarded my flight across the country, with the understanding that the car would be picked up Friday, and delivered to me a week later on the east coast. Friday; Friday came and went with no call, no show from transport company. Texted Ronnie on Saturday, said he would have it all straightened out for me and on Monday, got a call from someone else stating the transport would now cost $2800 or $1 per mile, due to lack of available drivers.
