I was even told they couldn't find a carrier in my area that could transport my car from Florida to California. After my experience, that clearly wasn't the case. I found out about Number One Auto Transport on Reddit after I saw some great reviews and filled out a form on their site Thursday night. On Friday morning James gave me a call (JAMES YOURE THE BEST!!!) & not even an hour after speaking with him, they had already found a carrier for me. They got to work immediately after our phone call, and my car was picked up that Monday (I first spoke with James on Friday). Since this was my first time shipping a vehicle, James took the time to explain exactly how the process works, listened to my situation, answered all of my questions honestly, and found me a great price (and locked in a carrier super fast). I never felt pressured or misled, I just felt genuinely taken care of. The carrier was fantastic, and both the company and the carrier were professional, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire process. My car arrived from Florida to California in perfect condition, exactly as it was when it left. After my experience with the other "big" company, i was really hesitant about putting trust into another company, but I'm glad i trusted this company. I really appreciated the honesty, transparency, and urgency that Number One Auto Transport showed. They delivered exactly what they promised. I will only use Number One Auto Transport for any future vehicle shipments and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and professional auto transport company.

Issues were threefold: - Eric basically represented and used a facility that does its own direct auto transport. When questioned (because they were cheaper) he highlighted his business as better due to a number of factors. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line. I was going to just leave things as is and not write a review and leave things as they were in August but given the action he took today I felt compelled to warn others.

We had to continually call their customer service who typically sent us straight to voicemail and we had to call throughout the entire business day. Service from their 3rd party was so bad we had to cancel and our car did not get picked up. Luckily we were set up with another carrier who was able to pick up our vehicle with no issue, very communicative and safe. This transport company is hit or miss it seems and with poor support and communication so be wary. Difficult and with a cross country move unfortunate our vehicle showed up so late with all the delays.

Calling them by phone was no help either because the operators do not have the ability to provide any meaningful updates. All I heard was, "Your shipment is in progress." Bottom line: My scheduled pick up was May 26th. Today is May 29th and no carrier had been assigned to pick up my vehicle. The customer account specialist was unable to provide any help, but to cancel my booking. Save yourself the hassle and choose another booking company. RoadRunner Auto is unreliable.
