Saw the…read moregood reviews here and USA Auto Transport (their actual main company, same as Brooklyn Auto Shipping here on Yelp) had a fair rate and was able to ship my car for me. TL:DR; Terrible driver, absolutely terrible. I was under time constraints and couldn't wait to arrange another driver. Communication and coordination could have been better. The bottom line is they managed to ship the car and the company refunded the $100 tip the driver coerced out of me at the end, saying they will likely not be using the driver anymore. Long version: Making an appointment was very easy, Nick was friendly and made sure I was taken care of. I made sure to point out I have a 5" roof rack, but was assured it would be fine. Every point of contact told me the driver will call 1 hour ahead of time. Day of: pickup was scheduled for morning. I waited until 8pm when the angry driver finally called saying 'Meet me off exit 31 in 15 minutes, I'm four miles away!' No one said anything about driving 10 minutes out to meet him, and having just got in the shower after a day of packing (and waiting for his call), I asked if he couldn't pick up from my street. He just yelled 'I have an eighteen wheeler! Are you going to be at the exit or not?' -- I tell him, 20minutes, he gets mad, '20minutes?! It's 5 minutes from your house! Be there or I'm leaving!' Fine. I jump out of the shower, call the company and make sure I should go meet him. I get there, this angry small man hops out from the truck, starts yelling at me to take off my roof rack or else he's not responsible for my car. "ANYTHING can happen on the road. So you leave the rack on and I crush your car, not my responsibility okay?" Get in a tiffy, call the company, I agree to take it off and help him tie down the rack under my car. Worth noting the guy had to rev my car up the back of his truck like 6-7 times like he didn't know what he was doing ( even started recording just in case he flew off the truck ). Shadiest part: Before leaving he says "So you be there to give it something for the road right?" I say, "No you're dropping it off at my car repair shop. They're expecting you." He says "What! So who's going to give it something for the road? The roof rack is extra! I'm going out of my way to ship it for you, ANY thing can happen to it, it can get lost, fall off, stolen, it's a long road--ANY thing!" I ask him if $80 will make him happy. He says, "Make it over a hundred." Fine, I give him $100 so my roof rack gets doesn't "fall off on the road." Tells me he'll get there in 2 days on Friday. The shop's hours are 10-6 M-F. The company knew this, the driver knew this. Friday, they tell they're dropping off on Saturday. I talk to dispatch, they tell me "We called and spoke with Chris, he said it's fine and he'll be there." Saturday, my car gets dropped off. Monday, I stop by the shop. The owner said the driver called him on Saturday yelling "Be there in 13 minutes! I don't care, I have car. I need to drop it off." Apparently the machine shop next door was kind enough to receive the car. No one knows how my roof rack ended up back on my car, crooked and also pushing out my WRX's frameless windows. Chris said no one from Auto Transport even spoke to him. Amends: I call USA Auto Transport, tranferred to complaint dpt, super nice guy, John, listens to my story, tells me he'll push to remove the driver, starts the refund for my $100. 2 weeks later: I've been refunded $100, and hopefully that angry little dude isn't revving up anybody else's car for this company anymore. I give 3 stars but only for John from customer service being super courteous and immediately starting the refund process after I gave my sob story of being robbed by the driver. Otherwise, I'm not sure how to rate this company. Quick to respond and easy to get ahold of. Fast delivery, indeed. Fair rates. But dispatch who lied about arranging the delivery and a miserable driver who woke up on the wrong side of hell every day. Hopefully I never have to ship my car again. I need to just buy a house and stop moving.

Worst auto shipping company ever. What the hell did I get myself into?…read more Originally I had an order set up a month ahead for my vehicle to be shipped. The location of the destination was 5 hours away and the dispatcher gave me a guarantee that this job will be done. As the shipping date get closer, I receive no calls at all or even emails in regards of this service. I called them to let them know that I am not very satisfied of how they handle business and how their work ethnic is. The manager told me "the dispatcher who was helping quit". Simply saying that, does that mean you don't have to give a crap about your customers anymore? And leave them hanging??? I then asked politely for them to just take me off their order board. They did not do so until like the 100th phone calls I've made to them with a blocked caller ID too. I do understand that they might be hungry for money but the way they handle business with customers sucks. They also charge my credit card $99 for I don't even know why? Because they are not supposed to do that until I confirm with them that I am satisfied with the shipping date and time. I did not authorize them to do so and this is a fraud. I am not happy whatsoever. Do not trust Allegiant Auto.

Hence I was not able to get responses from them regarding my vehicle transport. Allegiant was paid in full for the agreed upon amount and after 19 days my vehicle still had not been picked up or more importantly delivered. This has resulted in my company having to pay an additional $300 for storage, cancelling my order with Allegiant and starting the bid process all over again. Meanwhile, I'm still accruing storage fees because of Allegiants failure to fulfill our contract. I was constantly bounced from one person to another with no resolution or any acts of good faith to help me recover additional losses in money. I would strongly discourage any business or person from using their services. They are merely a third party logistics company with no credibility, professionalism or courtesy. As of today my company is out $1,700 and still don't have our vehicle. Lastly, Allegiant has made me "ask" for money lost via email and then they will render a decision in 5-7 business as to what if anything I'll get back from them. If you reach Matthew or Tony, don't expect good service. If you get an email from Joyce, she left the company 5 months ago!

Instead board got laid in a truck (MPH admitted) apparently unwrapped and bounced around on a sharp object- apparent from photograph and confirmed by board manufacturer as a common form of damage. (See picture detail of scratches that happen during transport) MPH refuses to reply to my multiple correspondences. Unfortunately, I have to contact an attorney now increasing costs for them. Was willing to settle for refund, repair costs, and additional shipping to manufacturer but now will have to include attorney fees and travel time. See pics of pic up and how board appeared at the shipper. MPH tried to blame shipper but board placed damaged side down by courier hiding from view, shipper reviewed board and contacted me. Update after MPH finally responds on Yelp: Below is MPH's response. Clearly I've posted a picture of their pic up person with the undamaged board and they confirmed this early on yet they still try and claim it may have been previously damaged?? They knew the history and value of the board. That is why I requested a hand carry as it was only a few blocks to the professional packaging and shipping company. I did not send "menacing emails" I offered several fair solutions. (See screengrab of my unanswered emails.) my comment "Sorry it's come to this but I'm an East Coast guy like you and we don't take shit lying down" was a simply an effort to find common ground with these guys. I simply gave them the courtesy of making good on the damage before posting on Yelp. I told them on the phone that I was suspending judgment until I had a chance to gather all the evidence. When the manufacturer told me the cause of this type of damage, as they have seen it many times on improperly transported boards, it became obvious (see the detail of damage and compare to image of MPH courier with the undamaged board). This ultra-light carbon fiber board was placed on a sharp object where it bounced along on the roadway, you can even see where it was yanked out of the truck by the forward scratches. This type of damage would not happen leaning against a stationary wall like the one the courier propped it up against at the shipper's facility ( he placed it damaged side down by the way according to the shipper who called me immediately after he turned it over to pack it. ) I apologize for suggesting they did still charged me upon inspection of my corp AMEX account they did not. This is appreciated, however, this suggests they may be in agreement with me. Sadly, I now have to take legal action. I only want what is due to me, what is fare and we will have to let a judge decide now costing everyone more. I am confident I will prevail and will post the outcome here.
