Overall, I was dissatisfied with the move due to major issues leading to the 2 star review. Firstly, there was poor communication with the owner, Dan. He would take a while to respond to my messages yet rush me to respond to his. There was also poor communication during the day of the move. The movers did not respond to any of my texts regarding items being moved and ensuring that my outside furniture was moved. Also, I was originally told that the movers would arrive between 8:30 and 9am but the night before the move, the owner changed the time to 9-9:30. Because I was moving across states and was originally told they would arrive by 9am, I had to leave before the movers arrived so that I could pick up my new keys in time. This leads to the next major issue. Many items were left behind. I sent instructions to move everything in the living/dining room area as well as the patio furniture. NONE of the patio furniture was moved and with the size of the move, I didn't realize this until after I already paid the movers the mandatory gratuity fee ($150) and was later notified by my previous property owner that furniture had been left behind. Additionally, the movers arrived at 9:30 and did not bring my furniture to my new place until 5pm. Granted, the drive was 2.5 hours but I certainly wasn't expecting to receive my furniture so late, especially when all items were not packed. Overall, the price was reasonable but the service was not professional and major items that I paid to move, were left behind. Will not be using again. *update* So that offer Dan wrote below to pick up the furniture was a gimmick. I told him I was being charged weekly for the furniture left behind and he responded they "might" be able to get it in two weeks and deliver it to me in a month. I asked if it could get pick up before the 15th and he never responded. I am now being charged to have the furniture they left behind removed. Dropped a star and I would recommend paying a bit more to have your furniture moved without the hassle. read more

Cheap price = cheap service. They arrived more than 2hrs late. They only had 4 guys trying to pack up a 4 bedroom house. Many items were not wrapped but just placed in the truck. They did not take pictures of the items to ensure no damage was done. My dining room set has a big dent in one piece that was not there to begin with. The entire move took over 12hrs. It seems only one guy-the boss knew what to do the others were just wandering around waiting for instructions. In the new house they dragged furniture on my newly polished wood floors causing scratches. I'm glad it's over but again cheap price, cheap service. read more

She was moving apartments while I was visiting her in NYC, and being that her English isn't great I gave Dan a call to make the experience for her a little better. Moving day 3 young men knock on my door, very clean, professional, and personable, Dan had a nice little team going on. They wrapped up all of my mothers furniture including a tall stand up mirror she doesn't fuck around with, lol. Quick pick up helped me with a move from Greenpoint Brooklyn to Philadelphia, and they did an incredible job. They moved our 1000 sf apartment with very large furniture with ease and did everything graciously. Our art we've collected over the years and furniture were wrapped and safely handled. I was the guy that kept saying please be careful with that! and that, and that! I checked everything when we arrived in Philadelphia and it was all in great shape. The most important thing to highlight, aside from my furniture being in the same condition before it was moved, was their flexibility with the weather. I contacted them early February, and by the time we were ready to move we were seeing so much snow. They provided a few dates that worked with us that we could use as back ups incase weather wouldn't permit us to do everything safely. We found a narrow window of time that caused them to arrive in Philadelphia extremely late, and they didn't blink an eye. I highly recommend these guys! read more

These guys were awesome! I needed someone to move my things from Brooklyn to New Jersey and Dan was able to set something up quickly. They wrapped up my desserts to protect them from any damage and packed everything carefully. I even forgot I had an air conditioner in the back of my closet, and when I asked if they could pack that up too, Dan did it with no hesitation. Daniel, George and team did an exceptional job with my move within Manhattan this week. They were a pleasure to work with, right from the planning/quote stage through my actual move. I had a complicated situation due to timing constraints of the building I was moving out of, and the one I was moving into. Daniel and George were great problem solvers, and were able to come up with a viable solution/plan, while keeping these constraints in mind. Most importantly, my entire move went really smoothly, it was actually seamless. They were on time, quick, efficient, and very careful in handling my belongings. When they loaded up my items, they spent time wrapping pieces (furniture/pictures) as well as disassembling some. When they unloaded into my new place, they unwrapped everything, assembled pieces perfectly, and removed all the wrapping/blankets from my apartment. Dan and his team helped me move out of my apartment into a storage unit. They were extremely friendly, quick, and careful with all of my items.
